And a mod banned me for commenting and saying the truth on this thread. So you think after the ban I will still be commenting on threads here? The mod that banned me should prepare to be commenting on threads and making them trend.

McTobe

You said it all. Before now, I can read a post from page 0 to 100. It usually take me eternity to scan all the topics on front page from top to bottom. But today, I will just scroll up in one touch and leave. Nothing again interests me here. If I open a thread, I will just read the news and go back. I don't dear read comments because its all fights and insults!!!

Still waiting for links to the threads that people are complaining about. In my experience, it's better to deal with specifics.
if you are waiting for links to posts that shouldn't make front page, that means you are not following your forum...

Yet the price is starting to shift...
Well, as a producer I'll only be observing.

I'm still your plug for freshly cooked grade one palm oil.
The quantity determines the prize.
08066722556 WhatsApp or call.
yes, price is shifting but it will remain in the neighborhood of 7000 for a long time.

Where is your location, what quantity do you have now and what price are you selling?
Business To BusinessRe: PALM OIL BUSINESS( Productions, Sales and Storage) by iHart(m): 9:16pm On Sep 11, 2019

It is now up to 7,000 naira in akwa ibom o.
*Hope you know that FG has given order to close all boarders starting with most popular SEME boarder.
We wait
Palm oil has been under ban yet they smuggle it into the country. Closure of boarders will have little or no effect on the price.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Why Are Big Brand Advertisers Leaving Nairaland? by iHart(m): 9:21am On Sep 10, 2019
No big brand will want to advertise where snake, cyber bullying, political fights/insults, ethnic/tribal and religious intolerance are the order of the day.

Haven't you also noticed that no brand, whether big or small, repeats advert here? Adverts here don't have any conversion rate.

For the past three years, this place has remained in the neighborhood of 2.5million registered members and possibly about 20% monikers are duplicate and dormant account. This place is no growing!!!

You shouldn't be excited because you have already tracked the phone. The guy should be excited you didn't arrest him
WebmastersRe: An Experimental Mobile Android App For NL by iHart(m): 9:36pm On Sep 06, 2019
I downloaded the app, its cool but its not working like that of Nairaland web page

For instance, if I click on the business section, what comes up on the app is different from what comes up on the web page.

I guess this app eats a lot of data as compared to the webpage.

One thing I can't do on the app for now is to put in my login details.

One other thing is that when you click on a thread, you don't have that sections anymore. To see the sections, you will have to go back.

The ads are something else, I hate seeing those unnecessary ads that just pop up from no where. The ads will also be chopping data.

Like someone advised, why not try out something completely different and leave Nairaland to Seun. He doesn't want to upgrade it.

Since I can't chat up with friends on Nairaland, I think its not necessary to have the app.

Thanks man, am encouraged. One challenge I had was how to optimize my services. I want it to be tech driven. Not just a run of the mill delivery coy. I want real-time tracking of every delivery. I have ideas in my head is hard to go-to-market with in Africa without enough capital...
Yours is a good idea. Have you considered setting up a team, a team for everything. By so you will reduce cost of starting.

Not only u bro. I had even go as far as registering a courier company with CAC, (dropOff) create a logo, design website (dropoff.com.ng) open company bank details and suddenly lose interest.

I got the passion working in the courier industry abroad so even have some experience and i know for sure its a good business..... When i think of the man hours i put in reading, doing research and studying the market I hope I go back to it someday and not let it all go to waste undecided
This happens in every business. You have not gotten the eureka point. I think there is one big puzzle you are yet to crack, if you do, your business will take off and you will have the deep innermost conviction that you will make it. It happened to me. I spent close to two years to set up everything for my business then I lost interest because there was a puzzle about the business I couldn't solve. One day, why trying to run the process again, I made a mistake. That mistake turned out to be the solution to my big puzzle. That night I also died out of happiness.

I encourage you not to give up. You can also share your challenges let's brainstorm over it. That your business, I am interested.
PoliticsRe: Xenophobia: What AU Should Do To South Africa – Atiku Abubakar by iHart(m): 8:10am On Sep 03, 2019
Igbos should have the feeling of what it takes to tell Fulani not to occupy any place in the east because some of them kill, rape and destroy our farm land. In SA, many of us sell drugs, rob, kill and now this is what we get!!!

EventsRe: Nigerians Share Their Worst Wedding Experiences (hilarious Comments) by iHart(m):
Hahaha

I once attended a traditional wedding. It turned out the groom didn't have money to clear the bills. It was a huge embarrassment for the extended family members that escorted him. Our extended family got so angry that they resolved that before you take them to a wedding, you must bring the list to them and tell them how much you have.
