Border closure is not affecting price of oil. Here at Oriendu Market, I bought oil for #7000. Enugu is #8000. The price seems like it won't change till January |

donparosky: OK like I woke up better. Good morning everyone. This issue won't have gone far if diplomacy were employed but that's not important anyways. A few people have called me on this issue and I feel Its necessary to obey their instructions. Udysweet kindly send your oil to us for replacement. we would share the cost of transportation. I'd pay for the transportation to send them back to you while you pay for sending them down to me. I have spoken with my manager and would be going down soon. Heads would roll if they had actually sent bad oil to you as I don't tolerate that. I wouldn't be happy as client either. However, myself and udysweet have done business for some years and she knows how best to have addressed the issues even when I am angry. She knows what I stand for. Thank you to everyone who took out time to intervene. I hope this settles the matter. God bless our hustles I think this is fair |

Adiahakiet: Donparosky is a man of intergrity. I can say that for someone to hold my money more than 5 million for three months and still supplied on time quality oil o. I just called him and cannot say everything here. He's angry and also confirmed you are one of her closest customers that he values so well because of the customer you gave him. I think he's angry that you accused him wrongly of intentionally sending you bad oil when you know him and that you people are doing business together for long and he has never done you evil. He is a nice person. I think you should talk to him tomorrow. Are you saying you bought 200kegs for 5 million naira? |

udysweet: Pls if anybody wants oil, even if it's 8000; I'll sell it. Instead of suffering pains to return them back If you were in Enugu, I would have packed the oil from you and use it to boil soap... |

udysweet: My namesake returned about 40 or 60 kegs out of 100 one time back I could remember how he came to rant to me about it that she was rude to Him, shouted at him etc. In my mind why won't she? how can you give her such an amount of bad oil among 100 ?and I have to come in at that point sef after All na me link dem two make e no be say I gav her fake person. You see George's attitude precedes him,try as he may to deny. Lastly he Owned up to it that they gave her Oil stored in Drums hence the bad oil. Tho I never got to find out who bore wch costs... when you want to talk about reputation, think about how you deliberately put a small business owner thru undue stress simply because you are big now. Imagine!!! |
Business To Business › Re: PALM OIL BUSINESS( Productions, Sales and Storage) by iHart(m): 11:23pm On Oct 26, 2019 |
Adiahakiet: Am shocked to read this My experience and encounter with donparosky was good. I had 30 kegs bad from 200 kegs he supplied to me here and he replaced them without worries. I hope he changes his mind. Maybe he's angry 30 bad kegs out of 200 kegs is 15% damage. That amount can't be a mistake. It was deliberate. Don't you know that if you blend the 200 kegs, the 30 bad ones will damage the whole stock? ..and if you supply it to a company and they run quality test, they will reject the oil or price you down. Don't you know that? |
Business To Business › Re: PALM OIL BUSINESS( Productions, Sales and Storage) by iHart(m): 11:11pm On Oct 26, 2019 |
donparosky: Nah it's our tradition sir. we change oil whenever clients ain't satisfied but as it stands she's pushed me to the wall and has called me several names, I WONT CHANGE THEM AGAIN SIR. Social media isn't a faceless forum as we think. I have saved all statements made above and if need be, forward it to necessary authorities. God bless our hustles This is very bad of you. You know I use oil well well. When a client specify the grade he or she wants, I don't think there is need for refund or replacement. Grade A is Grade A, even if it stays for one month the quality is top notch. For you to add "replacement" clause and clients to take responsibility of transport cost in your terms and conditions show that there is a deliberate intention to send bad oil to clients. When the client can't afford the cost of sending the oil back for replacement, they just accept the lesser lost and move on. Then the circle continues. I know I also give clients excuse for delay and sometimes ignore them while i am pushing to deliver their job, but at the end of the day I don't make them feel cheated. Online business is not easy, yes we know but your relationship with your client matters. |

donparosky: Please do not push me to the wall. As it stands I can refuse replacing those oil and you would do nothing. You see I am a person of few words and I mean every word of this......... Do not push me For you to have accepted to replace the oil, it means you knew you sent him bad oil. Why not bear the cost? You see that your comment "...and you would do nothing." I fear oh |

As you have seen above, making high quality soap is our business.
How do we even make our quality laundry soap? To achieve the good products we have. We put in a lot of efforts. It starts from the raw materials to the processing and packaging. Our major raw materials are palm oil, palm kernel oil and caustics. We use the top most quality of oils in our production which results in high quality soaps that lathers well and wash off dirty efficiently.
The palm oil is treated before it goes into production. Several other ingredients are added to enhance the soap and give it wonderful appeal. The soap is boiled, process and packaged with quality as a watchword because what we want to do is to give our end users the best.

I bring you greetings. It has been a long time since my last thread on how I started my soap making business. You can read about that here: https://www.nairaland.com/4442304/how-started-soap-making-business. I have always wished to update and gist you guys on my progress so far but I haven't had the opportunity and time. I am going to do that in another thread some other day. But this thread is to show case what we do, how we do it and how you may do business with us. Many of you who follow me here and on WhatsApp know that we manufacture, distribute and market laundry soaps under the brand name; "GLITZ". More so, we fabricate and install soap machines. We also conduct soap making training and general consultancy in manufacturing business development. Edit: We have long changed our brand name to Gush. We also have other brands like 4rava and Kwinet. Ever since we started, our Gush have evolved and today we have the Gush Multipurpose Soap wrapped in nylon. See attached picture

I am also worried about their model. I have the feeling that it will not work, especially the keke hailing. It is not cheap in anyway. They are still doing promo. When the promo period ends, we will see how long they will play the game.
Keke ride is expected to be cheap, at least #50 naira. If you pick a drop, #200. But for Opay, you need to spend data to hail and ride a keke. Then you pay the keke rider. At the end of their promo, people will pay as much as #1000 + data per drop depending on distance. And if there is traffic, you will still be stuck. Then delay in getting a ride. I don't know if this will be sustainable. |
