Really? I am also thinking that for the long flights or international flights, the plane is filled with excess fuel in the event that their is an emergency on getting to the destination. In that case the flight may be diverted to another airport and that will require additional fuel. So but if everything go well, and the plane is to land normally in the proposed destination, the excess fuel added in case of emergency will definitely have to be dumped. ...right?
