They will have to revamp the whole immigration system first to even make it workable.
Especially Asylum.
But with the Supreme Court in the hands of Republicans, I'm sure they'll find a rational to bypass the Asylum laws if challenged.

But, that's just one of the many problems.
There are so many jobs that undocumented immigrants fill that would cause ripples through the economy.
Least being inflation.
I watch people harvesting crops and am always amazed at how hard they work to meet their quotas.
