Useless views. It is these types of views that’s causing the terrible changes we see in societies in the US and the Western World in general. Your type should be castrated and locked up in a hell hole - with the keys thrown into the Pacific Ocean.

A decent article by the Federalist in the link below.

Yes, so let's force people to get married and have children and arrest those who don't.
Maybe you can sit in their bedroom to make sure they are having sex so they can have kids. Where have I seen that before.
This is the Conservative Mindset.

Christian fundamentals are people. And I do believe you can see that I'd rather not have those imbeciles decide anything for me.

Unfortunately for Repuglicans, the United States is a democracy where the people do get to decide. And I can't wait to see them up their game and try to abolish democracy. Now, that would be a hoot.

And before you say it, I have seen what I would call evidence of some trying to abolish democracy already and turn USA into its own version of the Islamic Republic of Iran. And my response while facetious is full of wonder that some people could so ignorantly be turkeying for Christmas while some in Iran are trying to my body my choice.
The Trump's team plan is to turn the US into a Christian nation.
I appreciate the Constitution and the Founders desire to segregate religion.
I think that is what has made the US so successful. We aren't warring over people personal held religious beliefs as some other countries are.

If Biden executive ordered the end of climate change and climate continued to change, then Biden obviously failed at ending climate change, I'd say, and I'd laugh at Biden thinking he could executive order the end of climate change and climate change would be executed. I in fact wouldn't want him to be president because he's shown he's not exactly smart at all.

Biden knew he couldn't executive order my body my choice, and therefore didn't. Instead, he executive ordered what he could, and he's out there saying vote Kamala and vote Democrat senators and representatives so Blue has majorities in both houses and can legislate my body my choice.

Even then, I'd still expect some states to find ways to 'my body state choice', state in this case not being We the People. But they will fail in the end, I hope, or throw women in jail for aborting and be the butt of wrath.
I'll just assume you are being somewhat facetious.
This isn't about letting people decide, this is about Christian Fundamentals deciding their religion allows them the ability to determine other people's rights.
If it were about allowing people to decide, Republicans wouldn't be fighting to prevent abortion amendments to be put up for vote.

What an extremely stupid post

I will expect you know what a fundamental human right is.

No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.

https://www.un.org/en/about-us/universal-declaration-of-human-rights
You're fundamentally incapable of compound thought as evidenced by your posts yesterday.
1.) It's pretty rich of you to quote the UN.
2.) The UN also says:
Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
Preventing someone from getting reproductive medical care could be a deprivation of the right to life and definitely of security (as Canada found harkening them to legalize abortion)

But what is more of a fundamental right than the control of your Body? Tell me what can be a more fundamental right than that?
I'm generally opposed to abortion. But when I thought about rights it forced me to believe that it has to be legal. The greatest right we have is the right to control our own beings. So, I decided up until the point a baby comes out of a body, humans should have absolute control of what happens to their own bodies as there is no more a fundamental right. It sux to say, but I can't even rationalize a counter to that. So, what business do you or anyone else have to decide for me what I can with my body. Why does your opinion matter?

Again, in the past, the US decided that not being a slave was not a fundamental human right. That changed and slavery was abolished not because the Supreme Court thought it was illegal based on the Bill of Rights and that it was a fundamental human right but because the 13th amendment was passed.

However, Project 2025 contributors include a number of high-ranking officials from Trump’s first administration, including former White House adviser Peter Navarro and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson.

A recently released recording of Russell Vought, a Project 2025 author and the former director of Trump’s Office of Management and Budget, showed Vought saying Trump’s “very supportive of what we do.” He said Trump was only distancing himself because Democrats were making a bogeyman out of the document .

I heard Kamala say Trump engaged the services of a prostitute, in her speech. And that the common everyday New Yorkers - in a jury, found Trump guilty of falsifying records and others.

Now, I have done my checks and found out that the basis for these claims - as given to the NY AG James and Manhattan District Bragg is the “executive branch” information provided by Hope Hicks and Convicted forger and con man, Cohen. If these details were not given to Bragg and Letticia James, their case against an innocent man Trump will come crumbling down.

Indeed, in the light of the ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States, the information shared by those two - Hope and Cohen are deemed “protected and classified” information that should be shielded and never given to any AG or District AG to prosecute a former President. And in fact, as we argue here, Trump has already requested that all those New York cases that Comrade Kamala based her useless speeches on to taint Trump, be tossed and cancelled.

Why do you think Trump is walking free today if he’s guilty of anything ?

Sadly, many democrats, it seems, don’t read, don’t check anything, do not like to reason, gullible and easily deceived. If they know this, of course they will nail Comrade Kamala on the spot.
Curious post given Trump does the best with the Uneducate/UnderEducated.
You're understanding of the Supreme Court case is flawed.
Trump is a convicted Felon who is out on Bail on other Felony counts. Bail isn't meant to detain people but to assure they come back to trial. And on some charges people aren't locked up until their sentencing.

Besides, an executive order is not the only tool that could be used. The majority People may themselves democratically elect proabortion Reps and Senators and governors and president!
Listen, you should really read up on Federal powers and what laws the Federal government can make before having this argument. Because you are 100% wrong on the executive order part.
The most the Biden admin can do is write an executive order through the FDA expanding the abortion pill. Then they can wait and see if the Supreme Court overturns that.

Now, if you know different you are welcome to post how an Executive action trumps state laws when the issues are not part of Federal responsibilities as determined by the Constitution and interpreted by the Supreme Court.

Sorry, but you are not even clear on what you are saying.

The Democratic elected President and the Democratically elected Congress passing a law means it is not Democratic!

And "The only way a President can enforce their Personal beliefs on abortion is if" the majority of people first democratically elect that person as president! And the majority of people will only elect that person as president because they the majority share the same belief. Unless they are turkeys voting for Christmas, in which case their stupidity deserves to be roasted.

And yes, the minority who don't share that belief will get it imposed on them by the democratic majority and it will affect them, somehow.

For instance, if a minority are antiabortion and the majority elect my preferred proabortion president, we will impose proabortion on that minority, whether they like it or not, though they can decide not to personally abort and we wouldn't make them.
You literally rewrote what I've said this whole conversation.

But Raumdeuter believes it is only Democratic if it happens in the states or only states should be allowed to force the majorities views on people.

He in fact did say that.

raumdeuter:
States put it on ballots and the majority win, We have seen in deep red Kansas where the abortion bill was put on ballot and lost
That is what democracy is about, No one should enforce their personal belief be you Oprah, Trump you or me.
Its your personal belief
Because the only way a President can enforce their Personal beliefs on abortion is if the Legislature passes a law on it. So again, the Democratic elected President and the Democratically elected Congress passing a law means it's not Democratic? And because they pass it it affects everyone even those that don't share the same views or "culture".

Now, if they do dictate what people can do with their bodies by electing legislators who legislate, that would be democracy. The majority did after all dictate that no one shall be slaves, and that was democracy too, despite needing to be enforced by war.
The discussion which you jumped in was Raumdateur arguing that it should be left to Sates to decide because only if States decide is it Democracy and not being dictated to people.
