DeepSight:Yup. The problem is the psychology of freedom tends to move down the totem pole when people are struggling. I think when people are struggling they tend to look to efficient leadership in hopes it gets them out of their situation quickly. Democracy does move slower in comparison to autocracies. Hence the love of Trump be certain people. |
IjeBos:I don't even think I did his posts justice and definitely understated how nutty they really are. Not only do the posts have points of similarity they both follow the same diagrammable structure. Imagine that, three months later and this guy's twisted mind writes the almost identical post with the same keywords and the same structure. He properly mutters these phrases over and over again daily. Holy Madness. The Basic Structure: {Someone [Y'all, Basilico]}, listen to this smart man and Verifiable Harvard Grad {Some insult at me ["Loudmouth Enugu boy", "Hides behind Faceless Moniker"]} unlike IjeBos who thinks because someone {Doesn't do something liberally ["doesn't support Democrats", "doesn't subscribe to sick radical views"]} has never been to America . It's a Slyfoxx Mad Libs (for those who did them as a child) for his deranged mind. I guess he does like formulaic prose.

DeepSight:Good discussion. wirinet I think I may lean toward Deepsight with his argument. I don't think Nigeria is advanced developmentally as well as it should be and some of that development was a natural course of any country growing. In fact even Lagos lags behind other similarly situated cities with a lot of foreign investment. And that advancement didn't stretch too far outside the island area, the last time I was there. A military government requires benevolence from that ruler which is hard because I believe absolute power corrupts absolutely. Even in the US we are struggling with corruption with nonelected officials who have their position for life (the Supreme Court). Some of them are arguing that they are immune from checks and balances and that asking for equally applied ethics rules are Democrats trying to get the Conservative Justices... huh Imagine non-civilian military rulers.Yeah, some "dictators" get things done quickly (China, Suadi Arabia). But there are hosts that are parasites on their countries (North Korea). I think it boils down to who the leader is and their vision. |
MentalCase98:Actually I know exactly who are you Femi. We've been over this. That's why you thought creating a new username to stalk me would be easier. But you being the idiot you are instead outed yourself as Timesup234, a f*cking wannabe terrorist. Just typing those words sounds insane. |
MentalCase98:Yup. Clearly doesn't sound like you've been keeping up with who 1stGenAmerican thinks Timesup234 is. Just randomly decided to go to her posts and pull up a post from 3 months ago. Just very randomly. That was sarcasm. |
MentalCase98:I think you have bigger problems than me Femi. I think saying you want to all Americans to die and that you want kill Americans in Cuba is kind of a big deal. Sit with that. |
Obrigardo:I think there's more going on in his head. He may be clinically insane. He's also Timesup234. Read what he posts under that moniker. Things like he wants to bomb Nigerian universities because he hates education. |
MentalCase98:Femi, I've known it was you a long time ago. You have an obsession with me; your first post as Timesup2345 was about me. You have an obsession with 1stgenAmerican. You have an obsession with this thread. You have an affinity to Basilico and Benalvino3 uncommon for someone new to this thread. You are obsessed, mentally ill and incapable of helping yourself. Maybe that'll be a good defense for you one day. In the process you have exposed yourself as a wannabe terrorist of the US and Americans. Sit with that for a f*xin'g second. I told you a while ago you are stupid and self destructive. You double down and triple down on it daily. Unfortunately for you I have almost a photographic memory. Here are two similar posts, one of you as SlyFoxx and the other as MentalCase98. Look at these points of similarity: what you are posting about, the wording of the posts, the phrases you use "smart man", "never been to America" etc., things you are referencing (never been to America) and what you CAPTALIZE. Tell me what the probability is that 2 people in the world would make a post with all those exact points of similarity.

basilico:So, I can walk into your house, sit on your couch and start saying whatever I want and when you tell me to leave, I can just tell you, "No, I have freedom to express myself" and you have to let me stay and speak? You should try deliberating with yourself first or "think" as we call it. You wouldn't write should breathtakingly stupid stuff. And don't mention me in the same sentence with your daughters again. You won't like what I have to say. |
basilico:So it is "elitism" to believe everyone should be treated equally and follow the rules? Why should Ben and someone like Slyfoxx be treated differently than every other poster here who follows the rules? He broke the rules here, got banned and just created a new username to continue breaking the rules. I understand because he is incapable of controlling himself he may seem the victim. But he is not a victim. But thanks for the clarification of why the Republican party is in the shambles it is and supports Trump. Clearly, you feel rules don't apply to you. Tell me how well that is working out for Nigeria. |
basilico:Fact Check: This user has not read the indictment. The First Amendment argument is a canard. The indictment is not charging Trump with only his speech (merely claiming he lost the election), but the actions he took afterward like creating false electors to try to steal peoples votes. It's like Tony Soprano ordering someone to kill someone. That person does. Then Tony Soprano saying his order to kill the person was 1st Amendment protected speech. |
bemeruca:These are the username and time spent for the known usernames of yours. On one of your usernames (benalvino) you have spend more time on here than I have on my 1 and ONLY account. People in glass houses definitely shouldn't be throwing stones.
|
Ekemeze:It's ok to be a conservative you don't have to pretend. He may be passionate about Trump, but he's not wrong. Trump will be in History one of the most malignant forces in US History. (save this post and in 10 years you'll see I was right) He tried a coup because he lost an election. He is a singularly destructive force in the US and around a world because he and his Republican party have highlighted the shortcomings of Democracy. A feat that has led to the rise of authoritarianism around the world even in Israel. What he is being charged with is a fraction of his illegality. He not only belongs in Prison, he belongs under the cell. You may hear different in the conservative forum you read. But no reasonable person believes otherwise. Take the contrapositive of that statement. |
bemeruca:I figured you couldn't. You'd probably brake out in Cold sweats on day 2. Makes sense with your obsessive compulsive need to get my attention. I guess that's what happens when the mentally unstable idolizes someone. |
Trump still doesn't seme to understand accountability.
|
wirinet:Makes sense. But is that any different than a dictatorship? I can see how one person rule can be more efficient than democracies (look at China). One of the problems I can think of is minority rights or rights of the people who's not part of the Leader's party/regligion/etc. |
bemeruca:Another nonsensical post. I see you haven't gotten over you obsessive compulsive need just to talk about/to me. Try a 30 day fast of not mentioning/replying to me. See if you can get through it. |
Ekemeze:I know what your intent was.. Decide to play you a little bit.Yes and Africa should open their eyes, elect better leaders and not be used as chess pieces. |
basilico:Roughly 5 hours. What is roughly 5 hours you ask? When I logged in a couple of hours ago, I made a note when you were last online. I wanted to see how long it would take for you to realized you fuxed up and come up with an excuse for what you obviously slipped up and didn't intend to write. So, it took 5 hours for you to see my post and then to come up with that weak obfuscation. Do better. |
MentalCase98:Femi, of course I really don't know who you are, at this point do you? You are the guy who both graduated from the finest schools in the UK and the US, but at the same time didn't finish school, in fact wants to bomb all schools in Nigeria (your words). The same guy who lived in the US and left, yet at the same time has never been to the US. The same guy who's family Tinubu had to beg to run for office yet who doesn't have 1k in his bank account. The same guy who wants to be a terrorist, wants everyone in the US dead but spends his life on the American Politics thread supporting Trump. What I do know about you is that you are f*king crazy. Fruity loops, padded cell, throw away the key crazy. Keep stalking me. Seems that's what you live for. |
Ekemeze:My point exactly. Look all that criminality. Look at all the criminality he got away with because he controlled the DOJ and Republicans sold their souls to him and refused to impeach him for obvious impeachable "high crimes". Good thing the stuff he is indicted for later in that list, actual citizens on a Jury will decide based on facts and law and not on propaganda. Good list. I get why many in Africa might want to move away from the West, but moving away from the rule of law? Seems like cutting your nose of to spite your face. |
BraniacX:My time on this forum has been enlightening to say the least. When I'm in Nigeria, I have to admit I'm cocooned around a certain type of people with more Western ties, so I don't get some of this perspective. But You are right. Russia is doing an amazing job at propagandizing in Nigeria and Africa. And parts of the continent are struggling so much that they are now looking for alternatives. I've heard people even saying that military dictatorship is better than democracy. I understand the West may not be the full answer. But I am discouraged to hear people prefer being ruled than ruling themselves. I'm disappointed at what is going on in Africa. I pray Nigeria doesn't go in that direction. |
MentalCase98:So Slyfoxx = MentalCase98 = Timesup2345 = Timesup234 = (All Timesup234's other numerous usernames) I can't even wrap my mind around the level of crazy it must take maintain all those usernames and the level of stupidity it must take to threaten terrorism in the US and to US citizens. Mind BLOWN. Slyfoxx, I always told you were a stupid f*ck. But Holy Sh*t are you a stupid f*ck. |
basilico:Thanks for confirming that MentalCase98 is indeed Slyfoxx. I assumed as much. If MentalCase98 = Timesup2345, question becomes has Skyfoxx always been Timesup234?
|
And here is part of the the transcript of Republicans Super Duper Explosive witness who will take down Joe Biden.
|
bemeruca:And you wrote 3.. all about ME. Not about US politics. Just making up Lies About ME It's the kind of stuff a wounded ex lover does. All day, all Night making up lies and posting it to the persons social media. Are you not tired nor embarrassed that you dedicate that much of your life to ME? I feel pity that at your age this is what brings you enjoyment. You are a broken person. Seek help. Find Jesus. |
wirinet:He'll post it, get called out on it. Then in a couple of weeks post it again. Rinse, repeat. That's what makes me think he's a paid troll. At this point he knows it's a lie and so repeatedly posting it has to be purposeful . And I hate even theorizing he is a paid troll. But with how devoted Russia is in driving a rift between Africa and the West, it wouldn't totally be out of the realm of possibility. |
This indictment is a big deal. Probably one of the most important in History. It is necessary for the rule of law and Democracy. Trump tried to overturn the will of the voters with a soft coup but a coup nonetheless. I wish they would televise the trial. When I was younger I used to get tickets to Chris Mathew's presidential candidate forums at the KSG to watch the Presidential candidates. And I would sneak into Lawrence Tribe's Constitutional Law class with my ex when she was at HLS (the law school). I'm a Political Geek. And this is a Political Geek's Superbowl. |
basilico:Fact Check. This has been repeatedly debunked. Trump and Giuliani were told numerous times the video was selectively edited and does not show what they claim. The indictment dedicates a whole section into the attempted Trump fraud in Georgia including this video. One Trump Senior Campaign Advisor said of this claim "but it's tough to own any of this when it's all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership." Relevant section of the Indictment below. BraniacX:Watching all the instability in Africa, I'm just realizing how deep Russia's propaganda efforts have gone. I wouldn't be surprised if Basilico is a paid Russian poster whose purpose is to post Anti-Democratic (American) mis/dis information. That's the reason he sits in the US thread. Explains why he keeps repeating the same debunked posts. That or he is deeply deeply mentally ill. |
BraniacX:Yeah, he's reached a new level of weirdness with this. I assume if you removed all his posts referencing homosexuality he'd have probably 2 post left. |
Here is the PDF of the indictment annotated by the NY times. Enjoy.
