raumdeuter:What is it with the right and their need to feel like victims? You've repeated this lie over and over again when you could easily google it and it's been debunked repeatedly. Just be a man and say you want to gerrymander without making up lies about Mass. https://gerrymander.princeton.edu/reforms/MA

bayelsaowei:He's trying to get you to normalize his BS and set the dimensions of his debate. An evil mentally ill person who was also a racist and antisemite decided to shoot up a church killing children. The same type of mental illness a lot of the previous right wing nut jobs had. Unless he has evidence all the other Christian right nutjobs who also shot up schools were trans, the through thread is easy availability of guns. "The Left" did not defend this shooter. And no one attacked prayers. They did attack elected legislators mouthing prayers instead of doing the thing they were elected to do. And if one believes prayers are solely sufficient, were the kid's prayers not good enough as they were gunned down while they were praying? The schools head master put it best. He ascribed it to an African proverb saying at the press conference, When you pray, move your feet." The reason why things don't get solved in the US is because we spend countless hours arguing the feigned BS of people on the right. More kids get mowed down by a rain of bullets while in school, and Republicans with their NRA talking points in hand will put on their biggest Gold crosses and say "Now is the time for thoughts and Prayers". Unfortunately, that's what the children were doing when they were killed. So, maybe it's time we move our feet with those thoughts and prayers. |
raumdeuter:It's always great to wake up to fake Christian outrage. You may want to open your bible. It sounds like you haven't fully gone through it. Legislators are there to legislate. Let them do their work. When a foreign country attacks the US, I'm sure you'd say let's offer our thoughts and prayers and leave it there. James 2:14-26 |
raumdeuter:We are talking about you. Not some "imaginary" party. You are arguing FBI agents in khakis, overseen by a Republican Trump appointed Director, who went to a Judge, searched his house because he took highly classified documents was some sort of Democrat weaponization? And that the 2 assassination attempts by both people who supported Trump were "Democrats" trying to kill him? Not including the countless hours you've spent defending a clearly racist man with racists throughout his administration. You seem confused as if reality is in flux for you. |
raumdeuter:This post To be black and a Trump supporter usually means some mental instability. |
raumdeuter:You mean those Blue States that support the US? Yeah, we should all live in states like Mississippi, or Missouri or Alabama, or maybe West Virginia and not just get murdered, but die at birth because of poor pre Nadal care, or die by some preventable illness like Syphilis or other STD, or by malnutrition. Probably why the avg. new housing sale price in Boston is ~$1 million. You rely on this myth that Red States aren't the cesspools that they are. Dems and their desire not to put down anyone have allowed that myth to propagate. Glad people are finally calling it out. The plane truth is that if you were someone who believed in the Christian faith or believed in Law Order you wouldn't be supporting Trump. But you do which is part of parcel of your cognitive dissonance. I'm not sure why you come online to throw out talking points that you haven't even thought through. Do you win some prize for what you do? |
raumdeuter:That's the point, there are no Democrat talking points. Democrats usually focus on policy and outcomes and believe there is no black and white. But your party just spews words, without any depth. So, you can elect someone like Trump, with all his felonies, his illegal business dealings, his Pardon's of J6'ers and pardons of people convicted of corruption and still say he is for Law and order. |
benalvino3:He said there are racists in Nigeria, Kenya in comparison to racism in the US. The nu[tt]y things that people write on this board. As I keep saying, pretending to live somewhere doesn't give you the breath of experiences as actually living there. |
ObaIgwe1:I may have said that prior to this Trump administration but when all the levers of power are congregated with people racist ideologies, it's harder to say now. |
raumdeuter:It's when you string words together without a coherent message. There is never any thought-out underlying point in anything you write here. You vacillate and contradict yourself from one post to the other. |
raumdeuter:I always wonder how it is to think and talk in propaganda and Republican talking points? |
raumdeuter:Maybe if you understood the issues at hand you wouldn't keep writing these posts. 1.) Everything comes down to money. Cities have to balance between security, schools and other social services. If you add a set of eyes on every street corner, crime will come down. But what is the cost to that? And for how long? What was the cost of this in comparison to other needs of the country/city, or even the needs of the National Guard troops who have real lives and jobs they had to leave. And the cost to the jobs that these soldiers leave. If you want to help DC, fund them, don't use them as a gimmick. 2.) And that is before talking about the social aspect of militarized cities. At times, when I'm in Naij, I'm constantly around soldiers carrying weapons. It's a deeply unsettling feeling even though they are supposed to be there for your benefit. Most Americans do not want to see that level of militarization of their streets. |
All Hail emperor Trump. Does this even happen in Nigeria?
|
bayelsaowei:You can't understand racism if when in your whole life whenever you looked anywhere all you predominately saw is people that looked like you. You can't have an understanding what it is like to be in the minority in a country like the US. |
Juries may turn out to be the partial savior of what is going on now.
|
bayelsaowei:You are talking to a dude who has never been to the US nor studied its foundational history and so his perspective is solely what he reads on right wing media. I think there is something to it that a lot of these blue cities with high crime rates are in Red States. There are underserved populations in those states that probably don't get the funding they need because of Republican politics. The argument that the US needs a dictator to resolve any of its issues is abhorrent. |
benalvino3:It must suck to go through life with the view that every action and set of circumstances is equal or incapable of seeing the difference. One man killed someone the other stole a loaf of bread. Both must be equally bad and we must be equally outraged at both actions. |
Roland17:Even if the Supreme law said it was constitutional the secondary problem for Trump is that there is no such law. And he can't create one through executive action. This gives all sorts of authoritarian vibes. |
[quote author=raumdeuter post=136589153]Let's hear what Hillary Clinton has to say about it what she said include putting out an Executive order and claiming it was law? No it doesn't. But you always seem to miss the forest for the trees or try to conflate two things. Captain Intellectual De.[ficient] dons his cape. |
raumdeuter:Post is about Republicans pushing back. Raumdeuter: Trump is setting a trap for Dems. The rest is akin to: Trump: "Let's sentence anyone arrested for any crime to death without a trial" Dems: "No, that is unconstitutional". Raumdeuter: "Dems are in support of criminals". But that example probably went over Raum's head. |
raumdeuter:Everything you write is some form of gossip. You do gossip a lot. Here in the US people's quilt is proven in court. The government shouldn't be maligning people by word-of-mouth gossip. At least that how it was pre Trump. You should really assimilate to the country you live in. You're bringing the worst of Nigeria to the US. |
raumdeuter:You get caught lying and move on to the next. How many investigations did they have of Biden? They even had an impeachment inquiry where they investigated even his brother and grandchildren. What happened? Nothing. Because there was nothing there. Trump tried the BS investigations. But at the end of they lost in court. 2 quick acquittals where the jury basically said they were wasting time. Because in the US you need evidence to win in court, not just propaganda. And what would have happened if Roberts and Cannon hadn't have helped Trump? He would have been convicted. Because the evidence was there. Oh yeah you'll say it's all the liberal juries that let them off. Because all you do is pray at the alter of your cult leader. You seemed to have left Nigeria but still think like someone living under its legal system. |
The man Raumdeuter worships. But, I got it stopped and saved a lot of lives. The Congo, it’s deep into the deepest and darkest Africa. I got that war stopped. Nobody else could have done that. We did a lot of jobs, a lot of wars were stopped that nobody thought would be possible. |
raumdeuter:You are so steeped in your propaganda, fact is irrelevant. You are just fed lie after lie after lie to revise history to justify whatever your masters on right media want you to believe. Back in 2017, buoyed by President Donald Trump’s calls for investigations into “Crooked Hillary & the Dems,” the Justice Department launched an inquiry into Hillary Clinton and Republicans' pet conspiracy theories about her and her career. Then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions asked U.S. Attorney John Huber to look into concerns that the FBI hadn't fully pursued cases related to the Clinton Foundation, as well as Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State, including the baseless “Uranium One” conspiracy theory championed by conservatives. Now, Huber is finally almost finished with his much-vaunted Clinton investigation—and, unsurprisingly, there isn't really anything to show for it.
|
raumdeuter:So, we are now at the phase where the government says you are guilty, therefore you are guilty. If the government had the proof to convict him, they would try him and let the evidence do the talking. Instead, they are rushing to deport him after they said they brought him back to the US to try him. Engage your brain and explain, why? |
raumdeuter:He did. He went after Hillary. Found nothing. Then Appointed Durham to go after her law firm and somebody else connected to the Russia probe. Lost both of those cases. Then appointed a prosecutor to investigate his son and Biden corruption. Only convicted his sone of not paying taxes on time and checking a box on a gun form. The problem is that Trump could kill someone live on TV and when the DOJ went after him you would say that prosecution was politicized. There is nothing your cult leader could do you would agree he should be prosecuted for. |
raumdeuter:Because Trump was threatening to go after them. A threat that he is lived up to or is your hand firmly in his bu[tt] you can hear or see the news? As a Nigerian, you should figure out what you are defending. Do you think Nigeria works when a President controls the DOJ and can go after anyone at will? |
bayelsaowei:Unfortunatley President Pardons are part of Article II of the Constituion The only exception is for impeachment, whatever that means. Article IIJohn Roberts broke the American Experiment with the Presidential immunity ruling. If the President is immune and can pardon anyone, then he is a de facto king. But if the Dems get back power, they should impeach him on some of this stuff so they can test the impeachment exception. |
happney65:He needs to go back and watch Schoolhouse Rock How a Bill Becomes a Law. That executive order is as good as toilet paper one can use to wipe their a$$. |
This is all types of Bonkers. The DOJ was looking for evidence to back up calling Abrego Garcia a "MS-13 leader". But couldn't find it. I think it's already decided Trump will pardon mostly everyone who worked for him when he leaves office. In the March 31 exchange, James Percival, senior counselor to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, was debating with other top officials—at DHS, DOJ, and State—what could be said to the court about Abrego Garcia. One of those officials was Reuveni. |
bayelsaowei:It has, the courts were our last refuge and point of distinction. But the Supreme Court has failed the US as well. |
bayelsaowei:Did the White House really post this? If they were right, they would bring the evidence to court like all issues like this are decided in the US. |
