LordAdam16:You were wrong. Now you're making yourself look crazy. Comparing two seperate polls by two different pollsters is like comparing an apple to orange. When I see them I usually look for the support levels. Basically a candidate should hold roughly the same amount of support throughout varying polls if they are polled correctly. So, say 70% off the country likes soccer. Every poll independent on who does it should say roughly the same thing. If not, the poll isn't accurately reflecting the 'consumer' sentiment. So, in the polls, because they are from different pollsters, I was looking in the "swing" of how many people support Biden. Honestly man, drop this bullshit "wannabe smart guy" routine and focus on understanding polling. You making yourself sound a fool. Even the question you keep asking is idiotic, childish at best. Polls can change by 10 points even in 1 hour if a huge shift in sentiment happens by some monumental news and that shift perculates to the people being polled in that hour. A poll said something different today than a poll by a different pollster said yesterday.. Explain it.. Derp Derp Derp -Lord Dumfuq
|
LordAdam16:Such a smart and witty statement Lord Dumfuq. My man signs his posts as "-Lord". Jesus, this thread attracts the strangest people. |
LordAdam16:I explained it to you like you were a child multiple times. All you deserve now is mockery Lord Dumfuq A poll said something different today than a poll by a different pollster said yesterday.. Explain it.. Derp Derp Derp -Lord Dumfuq |
LordAdam16:Take your time Lord dumdfuq. You fundamentally don't understand polls so of course you wouldn't understand where that number comes from. Take your time. Rack your brains and maybe you'll figure it. It's there. Lol |
LordAdam16:A poll said something different today than a different poll said yesterday.. Explain it.. Derp Derp Derp -Lord Dumbfuq |
basilico:Yes, I think you should go audition. You're a "techie"(lol. couldn't type that without laughing), so try https://forums.anandtech.com/forums/politics-and-news.24/ Tell me your username so I can get my popcorn and laugh away as you get roasted. |
basilico:Yes, I may be an asshole, buy I am also right. Maybe you can explain to Lord Dumfuq why a poll would say something different today than a poll by a different pollster said yesterday. He really seems to be having a hard time figuring it out. |
LordAdam16:Ahaahhahhaah See this raving lunatic Lord Dumfuq. You've really made the choice to descend into lunacy instead of saying you were wrong. Like a child crying.. blabbing away. I really broke you. You're arguing a poll can't be real because another poll asked the same question 24 hours earlier and the numbers are different.. derp derp derp. What da fuq does that mean? Do different polls have to stay the same every 24 hour period. I'm so lost here. Really, what da fuq are you asking? You can't be that stupid. This poll you're crying about, even Drudge has as its headline. Damn man. I broke you. He said, A poll said something different today than a different poll said yesterday.. Explain it.. Derp Derp Derp Ahahhahhahahaha. I can't. You should learn next time, to not argue with people smarter than you.
|
LordAdam16:See madness. Holy shit, I think I broke you. I keep telling you, stay on the level of arguing with the likes of Bemeruca and Lauren, you may have a chance there. Again for the umpteenth time. You are comparing apples and oranges. 2 seperate polling companies, 2 different polls. Below are the 2 most recent ipsos/reuters polls And even then. 24 hours doesn't matter. Polling is about sentiment of the people being polled. Assume if I polled you yesterday and asked you if you would marry your girl. You say yes. That night after being polled you find out your girl is sleeping with your brother. The day after that I poll you and asked you if you would marry your girl. You say No. 24 hours, same question, 2 different responses. Why? Information or sentiment changed. This is simple. Some voters are fickle, the increased nonstop coverage of Kamala ws enough to change sentiment. Even Trump's pollster predicted it, as I'm sure he had similar polling and wanted to get out in front of it. And because you can't stand not to be right, your tiny brain won't accept it. You should hang up your US politics opining and stick to Nigerian politics. Lol. Holy Shit. Education.
|
LordAdam16:Let me explain how nutty and stupid you are. Even Trump's own pollster acknowledges Harris will get a boost. Which means he probably has internal polling showing something similar. And here you are, showing your ass. Polling bumps on this type of news are Politics 101. Aren't you embarrassed? The Trump campaign’s pollster on Tuesday predicted Vice President Harris will see a polling boost in the coming weeks after she became the likely Democratic nominee, replacing President Biden, but they insisted the race for the White House is unchanged.
|
LordAdam16:You're clearly a dumbass. But to clarify this stupid question you are asking. 1.)It was not one poll. It was 2 polls by 2 pollsters with 2 differing polling methodologies, thus with 2 seperate views of who the "electorate" would be and thus composing two differing groups of people to be polled. You should read up on how polls work, it may help you. And look at the poll I posted again and carefully look at the numbers, you'll understand where the 5 comes from. 2.) The poll happened. It says what it said. Harris in this poll is up by 2. End of discussion. 3.) Here is another set of polls, which happened the same day and calculating "swing" the way you are. Again, polls are not consistent, it depends on the polling company and the methodology they use. That's why some places use a poll of all the polls. You're basically insecure. Unable to acknowledge when you are wrong. It's a vice, nothing positive. You've done it with every conversation I've had with you, when I've called you out. You, bemeruca and Raum do the same. Why is that? Just Bulllshiting instead of acknoweding you were wrong. At least Basilico just babbles when he's called out.
|
Republicans are Nuts. I think the House should take up the resolution and impeach her and see how that works out.
|
LordAdam16:I like helping people understand things. But, I've explained it, yet you keep asking the same question. I think I get it now. You just don't have a fundamental understanding of how polling works. So no matter how many times I explain it, you won't get it. You don't even understand that different pollsters have different methodologies and so they may poll different groups of people. So, 2 different polls may not get the same results. I've tried. But, I guess education does matter. Pax |
Obrigardo:It is. Very smart that Kamala stayed away from all that. |
EnlightenedUFO:It's false bravado and narcissism. Who signs off as Lord? |
LordAdam16:Da fuq. Let me show you how unserious your question is. Here are 2 polls conducted roughly the same time with a 5 point swing. 1.) You are comparing polls taken by 2 different polling companies. 2.) Then you are comparing polls taken before and then after a monumental decision like a president dropping out. I studied Math in school, but this shit doesn't even need a Math head to understand. For the rest. This should help. https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=how+polling+works
|
LordAdam16:Are you dumb? Holy shit. It's a poll. They take them often because they move. They are not static. You are comparing two polls from two different pollsters. Because they are from two different pollsters they will have different methodology and thus be inherently different. Then you are comparing 1 of those polls before one of the biggest historical events and the other taken after and wondering why they are different. And after explaining it to you multiple times, continue to ask the same basic question. Damn you are fuxing dense. This shit seems so simple and when I read your posts, I wonder why it isn't. Holy shit. I understand I'm an outlier that this stuff comes easy to me. But, it can't be that hard. You are basically asking why polls move after major events like people dropping out, debates happening etc. etc. WTF. The question is so stupid, I don't even understand why anyone would ask it. It shows a fundamental lack of understanding of what polling is. |
Trump says he will debate Kamala. We will see when it happens. But I hope he doesn't expect it to be the same debate as Biden's I suspect Kamala will call him out on his BS. Trump Says He Is Willing to Debate Harris Multiple TimesBemeruca and LordAdam16, notice the difference in Trump's statement vs. JDVance's. |
LordAdam16:FYI, you also do know they aren't the same polls. Two different pollsters. I guess all those pollsters doing daily tracking polls, should just stop because it shows you nothing. I'm curious do you believe the bump candidates usually receive in consecutive polls after their conventions are wrong as well? Afterall, they are asking the same questions. lol. You'll argue this ad infinitum making yourself look more silly, instead of admitting you were wrong. Explained it enough to you. I'm out. Pax. |
LordAdam16:This is wild. You clearly understand polls aren't static. LordAdam16:Yet fail to understand how polling after a monumental event like a President dropping out of a race may give a bump. Or how polling someone as a follow up question is different than polling now when Harris is the main candidate would give different results. You're so focused on not being wrong, you're making patently stupid arguments and acting naive. By your argument because they asked the same question today, if they asked the same question on election day the polling should be the same. lol Clearly that's idiotic. It's not whether they are asking the same question, it's the circumstances that exist when the question is asked. |
LordAdam16:I meet Nigerians like you all the time. Will argue their wrongness forever. Just can't admit when they are wrong. July 19-21- First Poll Taken July 21- Biden drops out July 22-23 (Based on what you posted) - 2nd Poll Taken. Does any non idiot need to explain to you why there may be a difference in the First Poll vs. the 2nd Poll. Holy Shit. Wtf? This isn't rocket science. It's similar to the reason why there are usually bumps after the party conventions. lol. |
LordAdam16:You should be angry with yourself for posting stuff you really didn't understand nor research. Lol. You want to argue what polls are right? Good Luck. But first start with understanding when the polls were taken so you understand what they represent. I shouldn't have to even say that. It's nuts that you can't understand that polling someone as a follow up question is different than polling now when Harris is the main candidate. You're a perpetual bullshit machine. |
LordAdam16:Well given that Biden got out of the race the 21st. It would assume most of the polling was done prior to that decision and prior to people being fully aware. The polling started July 19th and ended the 21st. I hope you can figure out why polling done a full day after Biden exists the race may be more representative. I'm not arguing the swing is accurate, but Polling fully done when people are clear that Harris is the nominee may account for that. And FYI, all the insults don't phase me. Your arguments should be your calling card. And they always seem to be lacking. Followed up with silly obfuscations like, "why does it matter if the polling was conducted mostly before Harris was the actual nominee and Biden had dropped out?". lol |
Obrigardo:Trump should be somewhat concerned with this polling. One would expect a bounce from either the RNC or the near assassination attempt. He got nothing. |
LordAdam16:Probably good to actually read the polls: The poll was conducted from Friday, July 19th through Sunday, July 21st.https://poll.qu.edu/poll-release?releaseid=3901 |
bemeruca:Here let me help you with a statement of someone who is 100% determied to debate. We don't know who the Democratic nominee for vice president is going to be, so we can't lock in a date before their convention, but we have reached out to the Biden team to lock in a debate date post convention when we are clear who the nominee for vice president will be..Critical thinking isn't hard. |
basilico:I'm used to dealing with Jealous people.. part and parcel of success. Why don't you google Boston Latin and Harvard. Tell me where'd you go to school again? |
LordAdam16:Bemeruca is an idiot and dishonest to boot. I don't expect better from him. Tell me how that statement aligns with the fact that debates are scheduled years in advance and if Vance had a question about who the VP nominee would be, why he didn't offer a debate after the Democratic National Convention instead. It doesn't. And intellectual dishonest people are the same as stupid people in my book. When you are wrong own it. Here is the original schedule the Debate Commission sets. The Debate Commission used to set the schedule for these debates. For this cycle, it was set in 11/2023, when there was no nominee on either side. Trump and Biden chose not to use them and debated even before they were nominated. This is simple shit. Don't be a coward. Answer the questions. Own Bemeruca's stupidity. You won't because you can't because you are wrong and you know it.
|
bemeruca:He said Trump is not Vance. Lol. Trump is the nominee, he is the decider. If he tells Vance to debate, Vance debates. If Vance didn't want to debate pre convention he would have set a debate post convention just for optics, so people wouldn't say he didn't want to debate. He didn't. I'm done with you. You're dishonest and stupid to boot. Not a great combination. And has 0 value to me. |
LordAdam16:When you post clear misinformation, I'll call you out regardless. It's typical for your ilk. Can never defend the misinformation you post. Maybe you aren't as smart as you like to pretend. |
bemeruca:Dumbass, Trump already agreed to the debates. If Vance didn't like the earlier date he could have argued for a later one. He didn't. You have a way of jumping in to arguments, to lie when other people won't. You should figure out why lying is so baked into who you are. It says nothing good about you.
|
blowjohn:What does this even mean? You have a fundamental misunderstanding of how laws work and are passed in the US. Just stop while you are ahead. |
