Kobojunkie:

I Beg to differ. The Poster did not say anything about Ann Coulter being a demi god to him/her. Just that she is a stunge republican like Ann coulter and everyone has someone who they can compare selves to in one way of another. Nothing wrong in being an Ann coulter fan.

You couldn't have said it any better, Ann Coulter is the last few TV republican that are not afraid to say it the way it really is and still make a lot of money doing it. I love reading her books.

I don't mean to be rude Lailah, but you really do need some real live friends or family you can confide in. You seem to bring all your family problems on NL nothing wrong with that, but it may seem more appropriate if you had a real shoulder to cry on.

Hi all! my husband has hit me a few times before for petty matters and I have indeed addressed the issue. Tonight, I was very tired. as usual he puts porn fiilms on and we watch them together. I have no problem with that and he is well aware of this. However, just before the film started I asked him if his wife was Ngerian (lets say from enugu) would she be willing to take part in porn films wiht him (ie copy their movements) I clearly was aksing a quesiton, not malisiously though. Then, he jumped off the sofa and pushed me very hard ot the extent that I fell off the sofa and swore at me etc tec. i then appologised continuosly by explaining that I was curious as to what naija ladies woudl feel about this. He told me I was a sick individual and rna off to bed, I folloed him and asked him to enjoy himself that I was sorry I didnt mean it in a bad way but h e called me an animal. can i have your opinions please. Thanks.

I seriously don't know why you always trying to portray Nigerian men as animals on here, if you not happy being married to your Nigerian man pls leave him and marry your own kind so we can hear what. na wa oh!! everyday Nigerian man this Nigerian man that angry

NDLEA arrests undergraduate with 13.5kg of cocaine
By Wole Shadare

DESCRIBED as the single largest drug seizure this year, a Nigerian undergraduate, Adebowale Adeleke, 31 years, studying in the United States (US.) was on Tuesday arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with 13.5 kilogrammes of coca

The arrest, according to the NDLEA Spokesman, Ofoyeju Mitchel, took place at the departure hall of the airport during screening of passengers on British Airways flight to London.

The estimated street value of the drug, which he carefully packaged in chocolate wrappers, according to him "is N33,750,000".

Reacting to the arrest, Chairman of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, said that recent arrests recorded across the country, particularly at the airports, vividly demonstrate the agency's determination to make 2008 a drug-free year.

He said: "We have started on a very positive note and unless drug traffickers quit the obnoxious trade, we shall continue to apprehend them. We have successfully ridiculed their tricks by our superior trade craft and intelligence network".

The NDLEA boss noted that "this is a very special case because if not for the arrest, the parents would not have known what their son is doing abroad besides his studies".

He urged parents to be vigilant and monitor their children and wards carefully and directed that the case be investigated.

According to him: "This is the single largest seizure made since January 1, 2008. The suspect, Adebowale Adeleke, of No. 55 Sumonu Street, Ogba, Lagos and No. 648 Judges Station Road, Maryland, US., was to travel on British Airways flight to London when he was caught with the suspected substances that tested positive for cocaine weighing 13.5 kilogrammes. His passport and ticket numbers are A35823 39A and 12524472715-75.

Religion / Woman Gives Birth To Fish. by Ijiji1(m): 8:58am On Jan 31, 2008
"Wonders shall never seize to happen", so goes a popular saying and one of the latest attestations to this assertion has just been recorded in Akwa Ibom State where a young lady is said to have given birth to what? … Wait a minute … one, no… two life fishes at a time!.

The lady, according to the report, comes from a community in Nsit Ibom Local government area of the state and had attended a revival service organized by Land of Truth Fellowship Centre known among the people as Isong Akpaniko, situated along Emco Lane in Uyo, the state capital, when the incident occurred.
A petty trader by profession and simply identified as Mrs. Eyoh, the woman was said to have gone to the church with her husband where both of them usually worshipped together.

She is a deaconess, while the man is an elder in the church, our source explained.
We learnt that she had been under the pregnancy for at least three years and was always assured by prophesies at the church that she would have a safe delivery, regardless what the "cargo" might look like.

However, an internal source at the church told us that during the revival which lasted for one week, a special group of members had intensified prayers with intermittent pronouncements pointed directly at the mysterious birth by the expectant woman.

When, incidentally, the birth took place, the couple was consoled and prayed for by those who witnessed it before the news spread.

The source explained that earlier at the prayer session, she indicated signs of labour and was quickly taken away into the vestry by a few women which included a prayer team.

However, she finally gave birth to two lively fishes without any presumed damage or problems which sometimes accompany child delivery.

A member of the church, Mr. Udeme Afia told reporters that though it was a mysterious birth, the congregation expressed joy to God for saving the life of the woman by casting out the objects through the means that pleases Him.

Mr. Afia revealed that another woman had, about a week earlier, given birth to a tortoise in the same church and attributed the incidents to the powers in prayer.

The founder of the church was also said to have thanked God for using him as a vessel to save people from the pains of the devil.
