Change of mindset is critical. Any governor in Nigeria can bring real development to their state as Nigeria currently is. Yet, they are usually quick to shift blame while they become instant billionaires by doing next to nothing.

The ethnic group aborigin in south east Nigeria are supposedly peaceful people. Peaceful people, by laws (or principles) of cause and effect, are entitled to enjoy peaceful life.

This supposition may have being threatened by realities on ground. Over time, (excluding the Biafra incidence of 1967-69) The Igbo people have been known to concentrate on buying and selling across Nigeria and beyond. They are not prone to trouble making. And they have always ignored trouble when it knocks their doors.

They do this by minding their own business, and not interfering in other people's affairs.

Things are now changing, because Ndigbo has a lot to worry about, especially the actions of the home based Igbo youths which endangers the Igbos abroad.

There must be a deliberate effort put in place to secure the safety of Ndigbo home and abroad, one of such efforts must be directed in curbing of youth excesses.

At this point, I think it might be correct to say Nigeria is trying to emotionally blackmail France and the UK by first saying they sponsor IPOB so when they make requests for certain accounts to be blocked or certain channels closed, theu wont have a choice.

But then again, how can someone who is a private citizen in France be stopped from sending money home when he we project say it is for his /her sick relative back home?
