This is sadly a regular occurrence in Nigeria. The most horrifying case I have ever heard of was the attack on a pair of "luxurious buses" near Asaba in which the police escort tried to return fire but was killed, following which all male passengers were separated from female, forced to lie prone, and then executed with assault rifle bursts in retaliation for the policeman's bravery. Body count from 2 buses on that day : 49 men.

There is absolutely NOTHING luxurious about the Russian roulette of bus travel in Nigeria. This latest attack is very similar to another one just last week in which robbers chased a bus at high speed onto the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos where it was finally set afire with a few rifle rounds into the fuel tank.

this armed robbery incidents on luxurious buses is getting worse i happened to survive one of such incidents going from Lagos to onitsha when i was back home but its not as bad as what i am reading in this posts
