I don't use coins, so I can't say if they are most likely since i have no experience.

Also, a bit of advice if you want your names to be accepted more.
Study the marketplace very well, know the popular keywords, become familiar with the words.
Whenever u face high rejection, sit back and give it some time b4 u continue to submit.
First 2 weeks of May i had 19names accepted, last 2 weeks i had only 1, maybe due to a very slow review many of us faced but still i had high rejection, i sit back for a week, relaxed and 1st June i continued submitting. I now have 8 names accepted in 2 days and counting.
So Always give them sometime, ignore them for sometime if you feel the rejection is from their end. Improve yourself if you feel it's from ur end.

Yes, acception doesn't necessarily mean sale, but na name dem accept go sell shey? Also always know that SH ain't the last bus stop for your names, infact it should be the first. There are names rejected by SH but i plan to register myself, including 5letters pronounceable.

So something strange happened. I submitted an unregistered name without coin, when pending review it said "coin used", and "added" on Dec 2019. But these are normally because clearly it means someone added it last December and maybe didn't accept terms or it was rejected.

So later the name was accepted, but the strange part is it was accepted as creative own although I didn't use any coin from my end. It means their backlog can deceive them. I went ahead and register the name and now it's live!

Please bosses in the house i need an advice on this. I bought a domain and discovered it was redirected to another website and the company is still in business. In fact the name of the domain i bought is the exact name of the company on their website. The company doesn't have an email on their website, Just a phone number, checked Whois, no email but just a phone number.

I sent a message to the two phone numbers. Awaiting their response. What will you do if you were in my shoes?

Await there response to your SMS, while waiting, dig d name of owner if u can, and see if u can locate his email.

Abeg which one can someone use because before you it, this afternic will remove almost half of the money you sold the domain for, with their charges.

U don't have option but to use Wire transfer

But most of my accepted names were coined

All of mine are coined. Find it easier and faster to coin than to scroll ED.
But whenever i want to coin I'll make sure I'm not hungry, I'll get a silent corner, gather all my attention in the marketplace and let the words run in my head. After an hour or so i must have reached submission limit

Last two weeks have been slow in SH, unregistered names I submitted since 21st are still pending. Most times Monday of a new week usually clears everything. only 1 was reviewed yesterday

Ahh thank God, i thought i was the only one facing the issue. I too have 2 names from 21st may. They are so slow. I hope it's a temporary delay

Bold is a bold 1st keyword that makes names look bold, have couple of bold domains at SH too,
In a single glance i liked that BoldGlance when i say it at SH, have added and removed something to it and submitted to sh, let see wat happens

But what happens when after the sale, you realized that you could have gotten more if you had applied some targeted resources.

Some of us are dealing with brandables with Nairaland Geo mindsets (Geo+product/service names sell for 4 figures and above. Check Namebio)

Some geo gurus here make general statements as if they apply to brandables, and some of us will just swallow these statements hook, line, and sinker, without knowing that brandables and geos are significantly different from each other.

Instead of encouraging newbies to test both and know where their strength lies, the only advice seems to be ...

Stay away from brandables

Face only geos for now until you master it, then you can go to brandables (practice with a goat today and face a lion tomorrow)

Don't waste time, just sell at any amount. You may not see another buyer.

Actually, Some people will find brandables easier for than geos, while the flip will be the case for some. And some will even swing both ways comfortably.

The point is, this is business, not charity. I will keep on harping on people learning negotiation skills.

Well, we can either see this as investment, or common buying and selling. I speak specifically in regards to brandables.

I believe if at all you are happy with your sales, then nothing wrong with it.

I never wanted to register it but did either way. After round of counter, felt i should colect my 400

Part of my transition experiment. It's not the best name available but i purchased it anyways. 30hrs later got an offer, after couple exchanged counters, we agreed on $400 few hours later payment received.
