i smell something fishy here, how come the bank gave her a car and she is just earning a miserable 120K, leaves in a 3-bedroom apartment. maybe she didnt tell you her actual monthly earning. becoz for the bank to have given her a car, that means she is a high flyer in her department, therefore, the car should also come with promotion which translates to a fatter income. 120K is below the start-up salary of a banker in today's banks unless the bank in question is a micro-finance bank bcoz i have a frend that just landed a job in a new gen' bank, her salary as a beginner is 180K gross. and as per the apartment, somebody earning 120K cannot inhabit a 3-bedroom flat in a decent part of the city(lagos), where i stay. maybe the lady stays in a place like Aba, Onitsha or Enugu. meanwhile am still open to hearing this lady's side of the story. plz tell us the truth.

well , before i say it was a scam or circumstancial, stage-managed or whatever, there are some questions we should have asked the poster. Firstly, what time of the day was the test scheduled? Because if this happened between the hours of 9 and 10 in the morning, there is every possibility that she had come to write the test before the commencement of the church service knowing full well that most church wedding services starts from 10. Secondly, was their any member of her bridal train or family member spotted around her outside the test venue, becuase like the poster wrote thay she abandoned her wedding. I think an avalanche of guests, church members, friends and family members including the groom and chief brides maid would have followed her in teary eyes to see where the madness ended, i mean if this was a real wedding scenario. Finally, job and marriage which one is more important to a girl? To the men, i can easily give an answer. But for a girl to abandon the greatest occassion in her life for a job she was not even sure of is something to worry about and calls for the re-assessment of our true value. Therefore, if it was stage-managed, i definitely respect her creativity and ingenuity but if it happened that it was her wedding day indeed, i can only but call her name SORRY.

I had a similar experience on sunday last week. It happened that i was coming back from church( Canaanland, Otta) to Apapa, when a girl waved me down at the exit. It happened that she was going in my direction. Normally, i dont like driving a long distance alone, so i decided to pick up this pretty young damsel in her very early 20's. As soon as she settled in my front passenger seat, she reached deep into her handbag, low and behold, she brought out the almighty BB. From that moment on, she just forgot that somebody by way of me was beside. All the questions like 'how was today's church service, whats ya name, what do you do?' fell on deaf ears. She was completely lost in the world of her BB. She didnt care which direction we were driving at, all she did was to, at interval, exclaim 'damn, oh my god, WTF, geez, and a litany of other chat phrases and words. She totally defeated my aim of picking her up, which was companionship. I didnt know she already had a companion, which was her BB. She was to stop at Abule-ado but by the tme she realized herself we were already at Agboju. She had to return to her bus stop which was already some distance apart. The moral of the story is that there is a madness going on presently, which is BB madness and it is more rampant among the female folks. They have been duped, raped, kidnapped, knocked down and exploited because of this BB frenzy. It is really terrible. May God help us and save our girlz from the menancing grip of BB.

i own the same car, be very wary. there are a handfull of trounbling issues with that model. the abs module is prone to failure and is expensive to replace ($1000 aprox). spring pads wear quickly ($350 aprox) causing an unsettling thump when hitting bumps in the road. milage is an issue as you creep around the 100k mark as the sevice at 105k is a mother (1000-1300). the electrical system in general is full of gremlins,

now for the good news, all of the above estimates are based on dealer repairs. the abs module can be rebuilt for about $150. save this query and hit me up if it becomes an issue ill hip you to a guy that does good work, i just had mine done, lemme give it a few miles before i recomend him.
as for speed the car is fast but not quick, off the line is a bit sluggish and the first gear is super short. top end is nice but the mid range is phenomenal, passing on the hiway rules. i love my car and am happy to dump money into it. if you can afford a princess be my guest, if not then i might suggest you look else where.
