Kwankwaso wickedness towards southerners especially Igbos was not hidden during his term as the Governor of Kano State. What we can never forget is the Luxury bus bombing. Before the bomb blast, Kano state Government announced that Islamic School will be established on the location of the Luxury Bus Park along new road Sabon-Gari kano. Association of luxury bus owners of Nigeria kano branch (ALBON) protested and took the matter to court. The Kano State Government started work at the entrance of the park thereby restricting movement in and out to only one. Suddenly the ill fated bomb blast stuck, making it difficult for this buses to exit. When he was governor, he never condoled with the victims; instead he used his agents to play down number of those who lost their lives during that tragic attack in Kano. Kwankwaso also refused to visit the scene of that incident. Feelers are talking about the state government culpability in the said bomb attack Is this the type of Man we need as President. A core bigot? He tried to annihilate us, Karma must deal with him while we watch him.

Kwankwaso the most bigoted politician of this time. He has been quiet since, he suddenly found his voice once he felt threatened something might happen to his bigoted, blind rampaging street boys. He is quietly positioning himself to appear like a demi god to his army of touts. He should prepare to be governor general of his North west region.

The pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere and the Ohanaeze Ndigbo have condemned Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso’s opposition to the call for the arrest of northern youths, who said the Igbo should leave the North before October 1.

Prominent Nigerians and groups including Afenifere, Ohanaeze and the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, have demanded the arrest of the youths by security agents.

But Kwankwaso was reported on Thursday to have opposed the call for the arrest of the youths. According to a national newspaper (not The PUNCH), the former Kano State governor in an interview with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday said the youths should be engaged in dialogue.

However, Afenifere and Ohanaeze, in separate interviews with The PUNCH on Thursday described the former governor’s position as unfortunate.

The Deputy Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze, Mr. Chuks Ibegbu, who spoke with one of our correspondents in Enugu, said Kwankwaso’s position should be probed.

The Ohanaeze spokesman said, “Nobody is above the law so the security agencies should investigate him.

“We want to warn that those that are fanning the embers of disunity should desist from doing so, because, if at the end of the day, the country descends to anarchy, they will also lose out.”

Ibegbu added that Kwankwaso’s statement did not come as a surprise. “We have not forgotten that when he was governor, he stated that there was no need for more states to be created in the South-East. He said the land mass of the South-East would not support a new state, but he chose to forget the fact that state creation is not just about land mass but population.

He advised Kwankwaso, whom he said wanted to be President of Nigeria, to turn a new leaf.

The spokesman for Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, said he was not surprised by the ex-governor’s utterances, noting that he had always been known for his bigotry.

He stated that Kwankwaso was trying to position himself as a defender of the Arewa.

Odumakin said his statement had further confirmed the widely held notion that the northern youths had backers.

He said, “He (Kwankwaso) is trying to position himself as a defender of the Arewa and anyone who knows him over the years would have observed his bigotry and it shows clearly that he doesn’t believe in Nigeria.

“When a crisis happened in Ife, it was Kwankwaso that was making incendiary remarks and yet there are rumours that he wants to be president of Nigeria. We have noted his utterances.”

“When people like him talk about one Nigeria, it is pure deception. I endorse what the Southern Nigeria Youths Coalition said that they wanted a referendum to determine the future of the country. I support their plan to retaliate any genocide against the Igbo in the North,” the Afenifere chieftain said.

Also, a former governor of old Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, said Kwankwaso’s call to negotiate with Arewa youths was wrong, adding that the northern youths drumming the quit notice should be arrested.

Balarabe Musa said the arrest would serve as “deterrence” and uncover the sponsors of the youths calling for a quit notice.

He said, “There is nothing wrong in inviting the youths, but definitely, the position of the Kaduna State Governor, el-Rufai, calling for arrest is the position of majority of Nigerians. The call of people is that these young ones must be held responsible for their actions, not just to teach them a lesson for their crime, but also to expose those behind the quit notice.

“This is because the quit notice is clearly illegal and unconstitutional. How can you tell another Nigerian to quit and then give a date? That means that after that date, the youths can do anything illegal. The Federal Government and 80 per cent of Nigerians are clearly opposed to this notice. All the steps being taken by the government are correct and the government should immediately arrest these youths. Kwankwaso is wrong and the Kaduna State governor is right.”

PoliticsRe: Quit Notice: Call For Arrest Of Arewa Youths Unpatriotic —kwankwaso by Ikology(m): 11:06am On Jun 22, 2017
astana1:
By Kingsley Omonobi Abuja— Former governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has advised against call for the arrest of leaders of Arewa youth groups who have given the Igbo a three-month ultimatum to quit the northern part of the country by October 1, 2017.

Describing the call even from some governors of the North as unpatriotic and capable of causing national insecurity, Kwankwaso urged the governors and other leaders in the North to dialogue with the youths, instead of resorting to their arrests. Kwankwaso The former Defence Minister, who currently represents Kano Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, told selected journalists that arresting the young men would rather aggravate the already tensed atmosphere. Describing the people of Igbo extraction as bona fide citizens of the country, who were free to live in any part of the country, Kwankwaso noted that true dialogue would enable the youths, who are leaders of tomorrow, better appreciate the nation’s unity in diversity. “The general belief in the North is that we are better together as a country. The unity and development of the country should be of paramount concern of every Nigerian,” he said. Kwankwaso blamed the tension over the pronouncement of the youths and the counter call by another group in the South on the weakness in the nation’s political order, accusing the elders of failing to call the youths to order. “Many people are afraid to call the youths to order. If they are wrong, they are wrong,” he said. He, however, commended the steps taken so far by the Federal Government, particularly Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, who had been holding series of meetings with leaders of thoughts from various parts of the country. The former governor contended that the agitation of the Igbo which borders on the need for better representation at the centre and the need for even development of their zone, could be addressed without resorting to threat of secession.

Nigeria of today! Kwankwaso is the most bigoted politician currently present in our political environment. You can never hear anything from him except issues relating to his region or tribe. He never hides his contempt for anything outside Hausa Fulani. He has kept quiet since but his voice became loud now that people are pushing for the arrest of grand fathers who claim to be youths issuing Ultimatums to fellow country men. I can never forget his action during a bomb blast in an Igbo dominated park in Kano, while he is the governor of the state. He must suffer for his atrocities Kwankwaso should prepare to become premier of NORTH WEST region not Nigerian president.

People like Kwankwaso have proven to be an unrepentant tribalist, a bigot that must stay very far away from the seat of presidency. He has suddenly gone mute since APC took over power, whilst planning to unleash his bigoted venoms on southerners. His hatred for Igbos was never hidden, nor the speed with which he releases his brothers once arrested. Kwankwaso must never be allowed to rule Nigeria.

Ipob miscreants, we warned you to move on after the 2015 had been won and lost, you called us efulefu and unity beggars. You kept reminding us that it was either Biafra or we should bring corruption which was goodluck jonathan. Sadly, PDP dominated South East politicians saw an opportunity to get at Buhari, and openly started supporting seccession by keeping quite while the fire raged.

However, the wish of Kanu and his bunch of illiterate followers has been peacefully granted by the so called parastic North and as expected, the yorubas who have been receiving their doses of insults and hate messages from the ipob miscreants are fully in support of their arewa counterparts, just like other minorities who are the victims of ipob daily dosage of insults and hates.

My question now, why are the ipob miscreants reluctant to leave the North and south west to their Jewish Japanese land? Why are calling for referendum? From who and for who? You claimed 99% of support the utopian Biafra, why are you still calling for referendum?

So who are now the Unity beggars?
Your Igbo name suggests you might be one. It is wickedness that will make Arewa equates IPOB, Biafra and Igbo to be the same. The same Arewa have provided covert support to Bokoharam in the North while Ndi Igbo were murdered in hundreds. The murder of Igbos from Anambra holding their towns meeting comes to mind. Was there any Ultimatum issued to Arewa to vacate southeast. There were numerous agitations in past inform of Niger Delta struggles, NADECO, even Bokoharam is seen as some as struggle for power. Arewa is afraid Ndi Igbo might be opportuned to come very close to power. They claimed DSP Ekweremmadu was seen with Nnamdi Kanu, wasn't the prosecuting judge that wants a serving Senator to sign his Bail?

Madam have i lied about the obvious? Have you sat down and listened to unadulterated versions of our nation's history? Have you asked yourself what really happened during the Biafra war? have you questioned why the level of hate from south-easterns against the northern?

Let me tell you ma, the last elections.. the igbos knew Buhari will win yet they refused voting for him. They knew Jonathan was an underachieve yet they ignored it and voted him.

Same people now hate Rochas Okorocha because he is with the north. Their hatred for this peaceful, loving governor knows no bound that they now NICK name him "Okoro-Awusa".
Your are not been fair to Igbos, what about the Northwest and Northeast that have been giving Buhari almost 85% vote since 2011? That some online mischief makers who are mostly PDP members or supporters tag Okorocha as Okoro-awusa does not mean all Igbos do the same. For your information Ndi Igbo did not know that Buhari will win the election as you claimed. The hatred for the north is because Igbos are always the victim of most violent in the North. You can attest to this. Igbo blood have always been used by some extremist to quench their taste for blood.

Dereformer:
The lies peddled by the Nigerian military govt in 1967 is currently being repeated.

The Niger Deltans are currently being indoctrinated to the fact that Igbo's want their oil.

This is far from the truth. There are abundant reserve of oil in the east. In fact, the east has more gas reserves than any other country in West Africa. You can google this.

To the Niger Deltans, particularly the Ijaws, throughout your sons presidency, we the Igbos gave him massive support. Your son noted in one of his speeches that the Igbo's are indeed the back bone of his administration.

In 1967 you joined the Nigerian forces to run over your closest neighbour. You allowed your soil to be a base for onslaught against your long standing brothers and ally.

We weathered through the storm and came out strong.

Almost 50 years after the war, I am sure you have come to understand and regret your actions in fighting your brothers.

Events of the past 50 years which have witnessed the killing of your leaders like Ken Saro wiwa and many others have indeed proved beyond doubt that all of us are endangered species in Nigeria.

We do not want to rule over you, we do not want to take your oil, we have more than we need.

Ankio Briggs has indeed made it clear that after Biafra exits Nigeria, through your support of course, you can have your Niger Delta republic.

While the Igbo's are asking for a referendum to determine whether we actually want to remain in Nigeria, the North has said they are ready for war.

We therefore, ask you to ponder for a while and decide whether or not to fight against your brothers.

We ask that you ponder whether to fight against a people that is currently no where politically as a result of the massive support they gave your son and father.

Biafra shall rise.
You people have ears but have refused to utilize it. Leave Niger Delta people aka Southsouth out of whichever republic you think will be heaven on earth. They want to go it their own way. They don't want any major ethnic group to subdue them. Your referendum will fail woefully.
