This election result so far has shown a bit of credibility, I think we should start looking at the way forward and let trouble mongers stop calling for a rerun. Hosnestly even if the presidency should be hand picked I would say Buhari and Atiku had had there time, we have seen what they are capable of in the coridors of power and also in power. Why don't they give new comers a chance.

I know anyone without ulterior motives will not get my views wrong, all am saying is, let change continue for that is the only constant thing, and lets hope it will lead us to a better future, but to go back to what we've tasted which did not produce any good result initially, is simply another waste of precious 4 year term.

@nossy cheek

Judging from the number of towns u mentioned in the north, And if I may add more from the west apart from Ibadan which u already mentioned which is Oyo state, Ogun State and Ife, can u honestly name Three Igbo towns that there standard of primary education on the average meets any of this towns. Dear nossy adikwam proud to be an igbo guy, but i must let u know that Igbos are never on the low or content with mediocrity. Yes one or two of us must have been lucky to go to the best schools in Igbo land but is it so for over 70% of umu Igbo. Take ur time to really ponder at this and u will see its not just mere talk.

Coming back to cost of leaving. Like I said b4, apart from Abuja, Lagos and Portharcourt. Point to the least developed town in Igbo land that the cost of leaving meets that of the least developed town in the north or west, and where u would get the same level of social amenities. The cost of leaving in Aba and Enugu, not to mention Umuahia which are mostly civil servants towns are even getting near to that of Lagos. You may go on to tell me that the the case of Aba is different as it is a commercial nerve centre, but is it more of a commercial nerve centre than Kano or Kaduna, where even N50 would carry u futher than it will in any Igbo land.

I experimented this in my days as a copper in Nigeria, and the only thing I really came up with is that most of what the Igbo man goes thru comes from mere greed.

Sometimes I have seen the benefit of this greed in the exotic, radiant houses you would come across in the Igbo land. Chukwu gozzie ha. And look at it, its all due to individual effort. But it has not created any benefit collectively.

But we should try looking at ourselfs as the proud one we always want to be. The blessed ones that God has truly made us, but let us not also forget that it is only when we start loving ourselves to really raise our starndards collectively, can we really show that sence of pride and blessing that I have really seen in every Igbo man.

If u ask me the Igbo race is one of the most intelligent in the world at large. For that human u give so little and he would turn it into spectacle should not only be respected but cherished.

But until that grand gift is turned into a collective movement in other to give every Igbo boy/girl a chance in life is realised then and only then could we turn from individuals really blessed and gifted into walking angels.

I must let u know its not wat could be achieved in a day or two. A century might as well sound like tommorrow. But even if it is going to take a millenia. The journey starts today, and it starts with u.

I have noticed that this forum holds a lot of Igbos from different communities. And that is where the journey starts, your own community. Think of what u can do to alleviate there problems, and it is true u might not be able to do anything right now. But a plan which is being worked towards is not a bad idea. For the only true course in life is the work for humanity.

Owuru na ana abia uwa ozo, me ya! ka owuru ni ga cho iputa kwa, wuru onye Igbo.

Chukwu goziee ndi bi nelu ma ndi bi nla.

Igbo si na ugwu kwai nkwai wayi amuta ibe ya.

Okwuduwa owu aha wan n nem.

Am comparing the basic amenities that facilitates growth. Our primary schools is nothing to talk about compared to those in the west and most of the North, our roads are the worst of all. Cost of living is higher in the Igbo speking part of Nigeria than any other part of the country with Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos which are the major towns of Nigeria as only the exception.

Maybe am wrong or am expecting too much but am sure am not far from the truth.

Igbo, onye hu ibe ye naya.

Dear babyosisi,

Am sure u'v lived in the US for a long time. But seriously the state of most Igbo town is quite incomparable to places in the the western Nigeria or Northern Nigeria. Especially our primary schools.

Please I urge u to look at my criticism from a positive angle.

Igbo Kwenu.

If Igbo pple are this proud of who they are, and what they are, then I think the only question I have to ask is why is the Igbo land the most backward when it comes to development and social amenities in Nigeria.

These is my observation which might be wrong, and if it is true why is this. And no one in here should try blaming it on the civil war, that ended years ago.

Igbo ekelekwam unu.

Isiukwuato ekelekwam unu, ya gazie ooh. Onye chukwu gosili echefuna wanne ya, ma wanne ya odi njo mo odi nma, ka uka dibara chukwu. Isiukwuato ekelekwan unu.
BusinessRe: What Business Can I Start With Little Capital? by Ikomi(m): 11:02am On Apr 18, 2007
I think ur question is irrelevant in this case. As it will still come back to you. As it all depends on wat u can do, not mainly wat u enjoy doing (As wat u enjoy doing might not be wat ur environment require or want at the time). Secondly wat does pple in ur environment require or need (At that point u are taking a realistic view). Thirdly how much do u need (for u must know wat a good starndard for ur businnes should be like. Even though you might not have all the money to put it up to this starndard initially, it will give u a view of wat u should be working towards). Fourtly how much do u have (Then u either start considering how u can get the balance - which might not be very easy -  or make ur budget according to wat u have). Immediately u have carried out this rigourous works u would surely know wat business to do with little capital. And aftre tht ur next question which will come back to u still is how to start. (In terms of location, working hours, discipline and customer relations). Take ur own bull by the horn man.

Can i ask a simple question. My question is this: Would there be a another election in all the areas where heavy violence was reported. e.g Rivers and Bayelsa and this time with heavy security.?
