These 3 results still burn my soul till this day.

These were not even finals but normal matches, matches any coach could have lost, even Liverpool that won UCL last season they lost matches in UCL, no one called for the sacking of Klopp, Guardiola that has turned Man City into a footballing juggernaut is yet to cross quarter finals of UCL yet no one is calling for his sacking.
That Levante match pained me too, so did losing to Liverpool but it still doesn't warrant the vitriol some fans are displaying, imagine one "fan" yesterday said he wants us to lose 3 straight matches so that Valverde should be sacked and other rubbish...
The board has given him one more season, this season, and we should hope he does well. If he doesn't he can go on his merry way.

Did you see how happy the team was when Griezman scored? Or the joy on Alba's face? Even Perez, the whole is psyched and passionate, we fans should key in with the them and hope for the best not staying from afar and making disparaging remarks.

I don't understand this reasoning, Guardiola hasn't won UCL in over 7 yrs and the best he could do with Bayern was reach semis, in Man City he hasn't even smelt semis, yet non of the teams he was in had him sacked, Klopp reached UCL final twice and lost, reached Europa league final and lost yet none of the teams he was in had him sacked neither were the fans calling for him to be sacked. Pochettino has reached UCL final yet nobody is calling for him to be sacked. Why are the fans clamoring so much for him to be sacked? Tactical ineptitude, losses or capitulations? Capitulations that coaches all over the world even the best of the best have experienced??

Barca fans are getting more and more disgusting on this thread, some people actually wanted us to lose so that the coach will be sacked what kind of debased, stupid reasoning is that?! And if CR7 hadn't scored that hattrick in the Nations League. Maybe, just maybe, he'd have been in the top 5.

Because he sure as hell wouldn't have been able to replicate Messi's performance against MU, CR7's performance against ATH, or VVD's one whole year without been turned inside out.

Nobody is sleeping on Bernardo Silva. He should take the mantle and assert himself as the main man at MC and he'd start getting the recognition he deserves.

those are the same players that Roberto and Alba play with yet they have assists and Semedo that is "better" than them has no assists, how does that tally?? I am not disputing how good or not that Semedo is but his offensive contribution needs so much improvement. A Barca wing back contributes goals and assists, look at Alba, D. Alves, Abidal and others.

Semedo is good defensively, fast with and without the ball but he lacks end product. Roberto has end product, go and look at the greatest RB since 2009, Dani Alves, mad goals and tons of assists, till now no player has assisted Messi more. We won UCL in 2015, Dani Alves was one of our key performers providing assists and goals when necessary.
Madrid won UCL thrice in a row and Marcelo and Carvajal were among the best wing backs in the world through out. Liverpool won UCL with Robertsen and Trent Arnold shining madly.
Guardiola at Barca, Bayern and Man city has had exceptional wing backs, especially at Barca and Bayern. Lahm and Alaba were awesome.

You can't excuse Semedo that we should watch the game, no top wing back in football now should be bereft of assists and goals, for what?
Ramos virtually gave Madrid the UCL in 2014 as a center back, vital goals by Umtiti and Varane played essential roles towards France winning the world cup, lets not even talk about Parvard, a RB scoring the best goal of the world cup. Semedo should improve abeg.

It will be a massive failure if we fail to win this years champions league because we have all it takes. We have the best lineup in europe and the best squad depth. Dembele, coutinho, arthur, vidal, lenglet and funny enough even rafinha are players that will do well in first eleven of any team but this guys are potential bench materials that's to tell you how strong this current squad is. The competition is high now. So far so good dembele seems eager to have his best season. He bullies players with his speed. Even coutinho was brilliant today although nothing special but his footwork, passes and dribbles were a joy.
De jong and griezmann has definately made all the players to sit up. Even Alena and rafinha are very mean and eager to fight for a place in the team.
My only problem right now is valverde,busquets and rakitic. I really hope players like arthur,alena and puig also get considerable play time because they deserve it. And i strongly hope and expect rakitic and busquets to leave after this season because they are no longer needed right now especially due to their age and the fact we have really reasonable, ambitious,agile, strong and fast young midfielders.

All in all this season will surely be beautiful. I believe we no longer have to fully depend on the GOAT to bail us out

I am sure Valverde will start De Jong, last season, immediately Arthur started playing, he was starting constantly, unless when rested. I am sure that Valverde will play him. And I like it when we play so well with our midfielders the creators not just our forwards(Messi) and wingers. I hope we win the UCL this season

mehn we played like the best team in Europe. Napoli look completely helpless. Dembouz was superb, Griezman was moving like he is the captain of the team, De Jong, Alena and Roberto just proved that our biggest problem is Busquet and Rakitic.
This is one of the best performance I've watched in recent times.

Arthur doesn't deserve bench at all. Infact even alena doesn't deserve bench or atleast reasonable game time

This match just shows we don't need busquets and rakitic anymore unless from bench. Both of them are our weakest links. Even vidal deserves more game time than the duo

All in all we have the best squad in europe

And on our team, we do have a great midfield, especially the younger guys. We may not have an Iniesta or a Xavi or a younger Busquets but we have players that can offer the forwards so much time on the ball.
