Thisday just give wailers food. See how them dey stumble on each other. If this tread helps you with managing your BP, you can continue posting on it for as long as you like. Discerning mind knows the drift around the information that crude oil price is not within the control of government. And people initially thought it was elementary. Obviously, it is not going by the fist going on it. But wait for your disappointments as this government makes very giant strides after clearing the Augean staple. Mark my word, you won't wait that long. I know wailing will become louder. But who cares ![]() ![]() ![]() ? |
Paperwhite:I want to quote this somewhere. So help me supply the link where he promised 1#=1$. Please help ASAP. Video will be great. |
FTBOY:Hmmm...I sha like this tone. Been reading all the posts on this feminism thing. Nobody has really struck the cord. Truth is that Women are made to control the world, but without making it seam so. Problem started when in trying to make it seam so, they belittle themselves. Even the materialistic tendencies only came to the fore in their attempt to influence men in a wrong operating mode. This is futile because, the only kind of influence possible here is basal. I.e to stimulate their sexual instinct which does not have lasting sustenance and value. To really influence the world and effectively do it, the women have to be truly feminine (not feminist or do feminism). A real woman can silent a 1000 men and sway them in the right direction with just few subtle words. Key is that, it must be soft touch, soothing and selfless in outlook. I mean Motherly, sisterly, wifely and daughterly in nature. But the moment she subjects herself to chasing materialism and try to be forceful, she loses in the long run. It is akin to trying to push your car from Lagos to Kano instead of just driving it. How this wrong trend can be reversed is subject of another discussion. I can tell you, before hand, it is like stopping a runaway steam roller moving speedily down the cliff with bare hands. |
Stupedinluv:African inventions will be on another tread |
ourchoice:So true. Just that Naija girls still go to school, not learning anything. Majority just do runs and sort out their academics and buy expensive things not commensurate with their background. At the end of the day, they are still half baked and cannot fit in. They become leper seeking help. And to take this help in strides is still difficult. All manners of pride still accompany them in strides. Men are willing to take care of their babes, but they can only do that according to their various abilities and general preferences. |
NextGovernor:So you didn't know Katsina had a PDP governor? You must be high on something. The people of River state are not fixated on any party. Thay can change anytime. Else, why the election at all? |
Every other thing remaining the same, a regression analysis drawn for seemingly perfect couples indicated a formula simplify as below. X/2 + 7 = Y X being the man's age and Y is the woman's age. Mind you, this assumes every other factor considered of importance are taken care of. Implication is that a guy of 14 will relate perfectly with a girl of 14 (no evil intended). Buy a man of 70 should be looking at a woman of 42. Not of age 60 as the 10 yrs gap theorist will like to propound. At the normal marrying age in Nigeria between 30-35 for guys, the babes should be between 22 and 24 yrs. Conversely, when a lady hits 30, she should be eyeing guys around 46 yrs old. |
jjman2322:Educated people like this is why I am still patient enough to be reading stuff on Nairaland. Don't know if you are completely correct, but the logic is really compelling. Thanks for this piece. I believe further discussion on this matter should stem from here. |
MrPresident1:What of Dokpesi that was first granted bail. And why arrest Dasuki at all since he is a blue blood? You see why wailing unnecessary makes you look not sensible? |
I support the Biafra project. But they should all return to their homeland and then chase every other person from there. It is as simple as that. YOU CANNOT BE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY (ZOO) AND BE SHOUTING BIAFRA. They should move from North and South-west back to the East or Eastern region and then systematically drive away others. With that everyone knows you are serious and it becomes easy to achieve. If you remain in Kaduna, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Lagos etc investing heavily, selling fake/original goods and reaping heavily from others and shouting Biafra, I think it is foolish. You are invariably saying we will continue to milk you in your land, but we want to take sole possession of the oil in the ND (Are ND even part of this?), Then you certainly have the sense of an ostrich. It is actually good we actualize Biafra. But they should move from the other part of Nigeria (or Zoo as they call it) |
CR77:Hope u guys know it is the 5 Eastern state 'cos you cannot force ND to join you. Only if they can just allow these people go with their republic of barren land. So that people can inherit the properties they have all over Nigeria |
fablola:Hm. We hear you. So that the matter can remain in court indefinitely and minister from Rivers too go hold on indefinitely. Na you get sense. pass abi? How people expect Buhari who is a victim of smear campaign all his life to listen to jesters is simply amazing. Intelligence and common sense is indeed lacking. |
dekdek:Correct. Just like you cannot obtain a court order stopping the National assembly from sitting for 2 years for instant. Or if a foolish judge grants that, the NA will stop sitting until the court says so. Some people should be banned from reasoning honestly |
IbokUtoroh:Of course you will lose the match hands down. Have you ever heard of such formation? All strikers no defender. You crowd their 18. But whenever they lose the ball, na goal for your end. There will be no off side because you opponent only positions 1 man at the center that gets a lose ball and simply go one-on-one against your goal keeper. I am sure, you have never kicked a football. And I hope this is not the situation with Wike and Amaechi o. Else, na give away match be that. |
funkiebully:And if Amaechi's name is not cleared for 4 years, he continues to remains in waiting abi? Jokers...wailers don't learn. PMB has immunity against smear campaign. you guys better hurry to have Amaechi in jail. It is the only way to stop him. Wake up from your sleep. |
BALLOSKI:Don't mind them. How can a cockroach be innocent in the gathering of fowls These people talk as if they just fell from the sky. Was PMB not a victim of more smear campaign? How does a sane person expect he will mind jesters calling BRF and CRA corrupt and bad when they won't even take them to court? Only with the intention of stopping them from being appointed.I guess Wike fears Amaechi appointment the way women fear millipedes and harmless spiders. |
dmandy:You one of the best here man. I owe you a beer. We will discourse how you pick |
Paschal001:As if you dey wen I join. I am for change and balance not any party supporter. You may wish to concentrate on my points |
I am marveled to my marrows when I saw the comments that greeted the ministerial list. Actually, it should have been the 8th wonder of the world if the likes of Fashola, Amaechi, Fayemi, Ngige etc are not found there. It is ironical that we expect these men to be seen as upright by PMB before election and then suddenly become evil men with loads of corruption after PMB wins. That on its own will be treachery and backstabbing on the part of PMB. Everything about is his integrity would nosedive if he had played into the trap. Even if these men have skeletons, they have joined his anti-corruption crusade and he has to be consistent on his view of them. Like a thief who has decided to help the police (I am assuming they are corrupt). I am sure those wailing on the inclusion of these names would be the first to take to the social media of use and dump by PMB. But let's look at the uproar on it's face value. We shout Technocrats...Technocrats!!!!. Where did we get the idea that technocrats will automatically act in good stead? were Deziani, Oduah and NOI (to mention a few) not technocrats before they were called to serve? What can we make of them today? they can technically steal the country blind in few months abi? In any case, I do not know what logic holds that, politicians will deploy there time, resources and risk their lives to change a government, while the technocrats who have been drinking tea and typing away from the comfort of his office will be expecting to be appointed as ministers. Only Niaja logic I guess. If technocrats wants to be appointed, they should come out from their offices (Nigeria or in Diaspora) to come and do the dirty work of effecting change in government. Some of the appointments were erstwhile technocrats whom have made their margins in politics and have performed creditably well. They were simply hounded through campaign of calumny recently to ensure they are not appointed. The foolishness on the part of the campaigners is that, they are playing a game PMB is very familiar with. For the past 12 years, PMB was a victim of smear campaign with its highest crescendo close to the election that brought him into office. It is boundless stupidity to expect him to fall for them. If I didn't see those names in the cabinet, I would have actually suspected a fowl play on the part of PMB. |
oshyno:It will come to nullity as lawmakers cannot execute anything. Even when they issue a communique and come to a resolution, the executive can simply ignore and that's it. The only means the executives are controlled by the house is the power to make law. And that includes the power to impeach. So as a president, you don't want to be impeached as it cannot be entertained (technically) by a court, so long as all the processes are followed to the later. In Nigeria however, the processes for impeaching a president is so windy, it is extremely difficult. Even with blazing corruption and ineptitude, you need to bestir yourself seriously before moving such a motion. You need 240 lower house first, then the senate and Chief judge will prosecute, with 2/3 senate (73) in agreement to remove him. How do you secure that? You can do all you can even with all lower house members on your side, he needs only 37 senators to stall you. See the toothless-ness of the upper house? |
Ezenwammadu:Ibo people. wish say una dey impatient like this with GEJ...the man for no fail. |
Bobbystanley:Not stealing from anybody ?? The good lives that the drug take nko? The family they useless and even killed no pass stealing abi?Better say something reasonable before your entire tribe is finally stamped unprintable name. |
cidieschat:You dey mind the illitrate in this forum ![]() You guys want NJC to determine who becomes the chief judge of Rivers state, when the principle of seperation of power and democracy says the governor appoints and the house ratifies. Not only that, you want a judge already poised to remove the governor to become the chief judge. Something like committing political harakiri ehn? U must be a political novince to do that. What we should be asking for is an enquiry into how a court can be closed down for such a long time irrespective of whether the governor likes it or not. If the scenario repeats itself, we will have the same result.Meantime, the lawyers as gentlemen should have used the opportunity to query why he did that and propably challenge him instead of acting like touts. |
MusaIbrahim1:Taboids keeps the flag flying. supporting everything under the sun, no matter how absurd, provided it helps the cause against APC. However remote. The issues is a woman crying out to rescue her marriage and applying to the appropriate authority. Nothing to do with Aregbeshola. In anycase, if you want to come to equity, you need to do so with clean hands. You dey colombi somebody husband, but dey wail sau Ogbeni no dey clean. She should leave the husband alone. Nothing more is required of her. Or let the man divorce and go on with her. |
That thing is not up to 7 tubers of yam. Unless na seedling. |
Waoh! see interests generated here. It may be good for us to dig far into the reason why there are definitions for what a woman and a man dressing is in any society. The fall of humanity was achieved by direct target on woman. This is because woman is the spiritual leader of the entire humanity. Her volition will from eternity to eternity, direct the cause and fate of all. A man will never be able to garner enough capacity to withstand her powers. This is the reason why great men/women of old put in place so much rules and norms to protect her delicate nature. These have been misplaced and even rubbished in implementation to the point of even making her look lesser as a specie. it was ok for women to fight for their right and recognition, but that process has also been hijacked by the power of evil and darkness. The whole thing was now taken beyond the safe boundary. What we have at the moment are women (leader of humanity) bringing themselves to all time low, struggling continually to advance in the direction of nudity. Submitting to the antics of evil forces (the crafty serpent) by continually seeking attention in the wrong direction. The ambience and good motherly feel which the women of yore use to bring to bear, have been replace with ugliness and terrible conduct exuding pungent smell everywhere. The clothing of a woman should radiate pure beauty and nobility not to elicit base cravings. You need to go back and see how women dress in the old to confirm this. What we call progress now is tearing down and exposing what is most precious to woman thereby creating very dark spiritual cloud around her. And it accounts to why many are regarded as playing thing for men. As a matter of fact, humanity is doomed. Man will be unable to hold themselves back from reacting or responding to the effect of the emanation of woman. Man simply do not have that capacity. Even when some men can withstand or be repulsed by these ugly form, the generality of men will finally fall. That is not to say they will not be accountable for their actions. I laugh at those who says there is no responsibility for the woman. Nothing is really free. Everything will avenge itself in thousands of folds. |
MosakuAW:Ibos Ibos ibos everyday. una no sabi say another tribe dey? what of Ijaw, Tiv, Idoma, Itshekire, Urhobo etc. Them no dey exist ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() so so Ibo everywhere. Una no vote person, but una dey expect appointment. even those wen vota am never get. Shuo!!!!!! |

mrtimycc:How did she become INEC commisioner in the first place. What cause in school qualifies you to work as INEC commisioner ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Tecnonews24:no south east senator and only 1 ss senator in APC. They forgot to spread when they were voting. Only one direction like duck |
dealslip:I think some Nairalanders here a very dull children. A man at 72 said "At 72, there is limit to what I can do" and it looks like he has said something abnormal. Even at the age of 20, there is limit to what anyone can do. The statement is axiomatic and should not evoke anything. A man is got limitations at any age. If you expecting him to run 65km maraton at that age, na you sabi. But typical of idle SaTANic children, it is a subject of great discussion for you. Make una continue |
Friends, I have been hearing in many places that police and security agents do deals with kidnapping. Nothing supports this assertion than what is going on in Rivers state. Information available shows that nearly 1 person is kidnapped on the average per day. Ransom is paid and person released, while they go for another. Recently a guy I know very well (name withheld for security reasons) was kidnapped early in the morning 1st of June close to his house on his way to the office. He was kept somewhere in Port-Harcourt around Uniport. Due to some stroke of coincidence and luck he was able to escape. A large crowd appeared on Saturday morning to use the entire building without the knowledge of the caretaker who was also in the racket. Unfortunately for them it was too bright in the day to relocate the guy. So, they simply vanished. My guy hearing the large noise in the environment from people preparing the hall and environment for a very serious religious activity suspected that his fate might have changed. He did a few things to confirm his abductors are nowhere near. He quickly worked hard to untie himself and forced the window of the toilet where he was kept opened (the door was fastened with protectors and iron bars) and removed the not too strong protector of the window. He checked and discovered he is on first floor of the building. Well, it didn't matter, he jumped and landed safely with some pain definitely. There was some drama as the owner of the building started shouting Thief/robber. He recalled this could even lead to his death (Aluu-4 comes to mind). He smartly went straight for her, jacked her and started accusing her of kidnapping him. As expected, everyone gathered to resolve the issue. It was then they discovered he had been held captive in the building for 5 days and the woman in question owns the place, but had no knowledge of what was going on. Looking around, the housekeeper/caretaker had disappeared. Events. 1-Police had been notified of the kidnapped incidence and they demanded 100k to commence investigation-Why? 2-Police did nothing. But friends were able to track the location of where calls where coming from and notified police and anti-kidnapping squad-nothing happened. 3-Relations/friends where hopeless and had been begging kidnappers who were insisting on 20 Million even when alert on his phone shows he is nowhere near that amount. 4-My guy was able to escape and gave police all the information they needed to go after the culprits-for where? Police instead went arresting every students in sight near the place and asking them to bail themselves for 50k each. 5-Uptill now, police have done nothing about this case. They are asking for 200k to pursue the culprits. 6-Police are asking my guy to also pay 200k for his car that was abandoned by the kidnappers and was taken to police station. Question: I thought this is supposed to be an easy case for Rivers state police commissioner. Why the reluctance. I am forced to agree with the assertion that they are in the paybooks of these kidnappers. Don't think it takes anything spectacular to locate where a call is originating from. What is preventing us from moving up the notch in crime tracking and intervention?. Even in this case, that aspect of the job is already done. Please o. Nairalanders, we need to pass this on until it gets to police service commission and possibly PMB himself. Apart from Boko-haram there is need to focus on other security issues as well. Rivers state issues is alarming. They were only not being reported. |
