Is it not then mind bendingly puzzling that the secessionist people that claim to be better than the cattle people have now shamefully abandoned their beerfraud hero in prison and are now struggling to suck the cocks of Atiku, one of the cattle people? undecided

What a confused bunch of hypocrites they are.
It tells you nobody is fighting for Biafra or a genuine course. Many fellows simply could not survive without corruption. so the hue and cry has always against the dethronement of corruption. So they can court even a jihad if he will allow corruption to fester and propagate.

Do wailers and Nnamdi Kanu Atiku iPods copy?

The Jagaban of Borgu is going nowhere, and is remaining with President Buhari to guide the great party to further exploits.

I REPEAT, Tinubu has vowed to remain with the winning alliance that retired the Otueke drunkard permanently from Aso Rock. The icing on the cake is that the idea of a mega party of expired criminals has hit the rocks of conflicting interests and the proposal is undergoing its final burial rites. It is now imperative for Aketi to bury the hatchet and recognize Tinubu as a party leader so that the healing process in the SW can be catalyzed. Ekiti watch out.

Let's hope all the propaganda of replacing Osibanjo with the corrupt Orji Uzor Kalu will be finally rested, and the iPods can return to their regular programming of chanting Beerfraud or death.

Sai Tinubu
Sai Baba
Sai APC.
I just wish Atiku is made the presidential candidate of the mega party. It will even make things easier for APC. Thing is that PDP/mega party will not be as wise as those behind APC who sacrificed for Buhari and Osinbajo.

PoliticsHow I Deposited Dollars For Justice Ajumogobia – Witness by ikwubaba(op): 4:54pm On Nov 29, 2016
justice-rita-ajumogobia
The Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos State on Monday heard a witness describe how foreign currency was moved from Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia chambers and deposited into her account in Diamond Bank.
Ademola Oshodi was testifying at the ongoing trial of Ofili-Ajumogobia, a serving Justice of the Federal High Court, and Godwin Obla, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
The duo that are being tried by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged corruption, have been jointly charged with two counts of perverting the course of justice.
Obla was charged with additional two-counts of offering gratification in the sum of N5 million to Ofili-Ajumogobia, a public official, while carrying out her duties as a judge.
Ofili-Ajumogobia, however, faces a 26-count charge of unlawful enrichment, taking property by a public officer, corruption by a public officer, forgery and giving false information to an official of the EFCC.
The accused persons both denied all the charges.
The EFCC alleges that between 2012 and 2015 Ajumogobia received a total of $788,000 from various sources into her Diamond Bank Account with number 0032091183.
While being led in evidence by counsel to the EFCC, Rotimi Oyedepo, Oshodi told the court that he met Ofili-Ajumogobia at her chambers at the Federal High Court when he opened an account for her with the bank.
Oshodi, a Branch Manager with Diamond Bank Plc, is the account officer for Ofili-Ajumogobia.
The banker alleged that he often visited the justice’s chambers and also her home whenever she needed his services to make such deposits, which was mostly in dollars.
Oshodi said: “I used to meet the judge in her chambers and sometimes in her home, where I’d receive the foreign currency, which was US dollars, to deposit into her bank account.
“I introduced one Abba Said, a Bureau de Change operative, to her when there was a need to change the dollars to naira.
“This mostly happens when she was not comfortable with a particular transaction.
“There were instances where the deposits exceeded the maximum amount for an individual account, when such instances occur, I pay the maximum amount into her account.
“I then deposit the remaining cash into my account which is paid into her account in subsequent days.”
Counsel to Ofili-Ajumogobia, Olawole Akoni (SAN), however, raised objections when the EFCC attempted to tender his client’s account statements as evidence on the grounds that he had not reviewed the bank statements.
Akoni said: “The first defendant has been in incarceration since November 10.
“She needs adequate time and facility to defend herself.
“I humbly seek an adjournment.”
Supporting his request for adjournment, the lawyer to Obla, Ifedayo Adedipe (SAN), also said the second defendant had been in incarceration since November 8.
Adedipe said: “Given the circumstances in which we had our meetings, it was not even possible to prepare adequately for trial.
“I will like to request for an adjournment so that we can make judicious use of the time to prepare adequately for trial.”
Justice Hakeem Oshodi, in granting an adjournment, said: “For the purpose of fair hearing, the court will accede to the request for adjournment of this trial.
“The case is adjourned to January 9, 2017 for continuation of trial.”

Meanwhile I am surprise at this age and experience, we cannot see the link between corruption and poverty. You expect government to be successful, but criminals should be left to continue in their crime. You didn't know that nothing will work if corruption is allowed to fester. Without due respect, you sound very foolish.

"No businessman will give such an amount to a judge without something attached"... Is this a statement of fact or a very ridiculous and baseless presumption? Which law forbids anybody, judge or not, from receiving gifts or soft loans from friends or relatives?

So because I'm a judge, my billionaire brother or old friend cannot 'dash' me N100 million without something attached? Is it not the duty of the lazy and incompetent EFCC to investigate whether 'something was attached' or not? If they cannot find evidence of a criminal 'something attached', then they have no case - even if the gift or so-called loan was $1 Billion!
The way people are quick to come defend suspects here is really alarming. Whether it is being PDP or hater of PMB, or we are just corrupt in nature is really crazy. Are we aware of preclusion that is inherent in being a judge at all? Judges are not just another fellow on the street. Lives of other citizens are in their hands. Hence, there should be way above board.

18 million Naira as loan for a house abroad. In our hearts of heart, we know this is suspicious.

I was going to say EFCC/DSS should not be rushing to press (nay, granting interviews) on issues that has not been landed. But someone already said it is because they are being criticised unnecessarily and need to be seen in good light.

Oby Ezekwesili wrote:

I still find it funny that most people don't know why Nigeria economy went into recession, they love the incompetent lies of Lai Mohammed about the past government ruining everything.

It's also myopic to think that if Jonathan were to still be in power, we would be worse off.

The truth about Nigeria's recession is this; it was caused by the president's unguided rhetoric and uncultured body language.

Firstly, there is nothing we are buying today that we weren't buying 5 years ago, therefore it's not our purchase that put pressure on Naira but withdrawal of funds by foreign investors.

After the election, the president created instability with his unguided statements about how everyone is corrupt and how everyone is going to jail. The instability made foreign
investors to liquidate their investment and change their money to dollars. In the process of trying to flee, they were willing to buy dollars at any price, which lead to high exchange dollar rate.

Even though some of them were not ready to run away, but want their money in dollars to save their investments from devaluation, the president gave a bad signal by banning deposit of foreign currency into dormiciliary accounts. That was enough for free market believers to see the draconian handwriting on the wall, that was the beginning of dollar rush.

To make matters worse, the president came up with another outrageous policy of rationing dollar to certain sectors and blocking many sectors out. That was the nail in the coffin which facilitated the emergence of free FALL.

In the end, foreign investors took
over $80B out of the economy within a short period and everything went down to free fall.

To those who believe it will be worse if Jonathan is still there, you are all wrong. Policy continuity and political stability will not let billions of dollars leave our shores within such tiny time frame. Even though the government might have income shortage, the private sector will weather the storm by their confidence in the market.

The fear of the unknown created by PMB is responsible for the economic downturn not low oil price. Interest rate in America is currently at 0.5% while it is 12% in Nigeria. JP Morgan Chase will not mind borrowing $50 billion from Feds at 0.5 and put in Nigeria for return of %2000 profit.

Citi bank will do the same, likewise US Bank Corp. Chase gave Buhari warning about the repercussions of his fixing policy before they pulled out, but his illiterate cyber warriors and misseducated e-soldiers said JP MORGAN can go to hell, they no longer believe in economic metrics since their messiah is in charge.

Funny enough they are all suffering today because of the stupid policy, but they find relief by blaming it on past administration and Gucci appetite of average Nigerians.

For your information, if your president "kontunu" with his unguided rhetoric, Naira will go down to N1000/1 $. But we thank God, he is no talking less now.

Copied. .

I was initially interested in reading the post so I click on it...but to my disappointment it was posted by a senior general of Zombies so I immediately lost interest, PassingShot has nothing to say about how his hero Buhari is leading Nigeria into recession for the second time in our history as a nation and on both occasions of the two recessions Buhari is in power...this is not a mistake but a curse. Anyone supporting Buhari is responsible for the hunger in the land.

I hope people don't make the same mistake in voting for Buhari come 2019 else we will be heading into the third recessions in our history under his stewardship...a word is enough for the wise.
You guys must be extremely naive. Your hero wasted all the resources and lost election on that account. U guys now have no where to leach from, so you attack the economy through pipeline bombing to make it extremely impossible for the economy to sail. You then come here to goad people into believing PMB was a mistake. So, you are so naive to believe people will just follow you sheepishly ehn?

Then, you are a kid politically. Just tell your paymasters that the trick is too childish. It is fruitless for the following and will not work. Just look at the following factors.

1-The effect of Pipeline bombing is mainly in the SS/SE. So what will change in 2019 based on 2015 election?
2-SW is still cruising with other activities including increased efforts in agriculture. They are too wise for the simpleton trick.
3-NC have never really depended on Govt. There farming has been boosted and will be greatly improved by 2019. So no real deal.
4-SE will be greatly indifferent and may even pander to the ruling party. They are business men. There will be a carry go effect, since there is no money to be shared from the center as usual. who will sponsor. Sherrif will not avail his money like before.
5-NW is PMB home base. no Jupiter can overpower him there. Agric is booming and there is plan for exploration of other minerals there. The majority of the people do not feel the ND oil. Only a few mafias and state govt.
6-NE. no gainsaying that the votes can only increase more than 2015. They have recovered all the 14 local govt from BH. Surely it will double from when BH held sway.

Now, think of these:

1-INEC chair is from the NW
2-Security is in the hand of the North
3-PDP cannot even put it's house together. Even if they do, they will present a Northern candidate. And there is not even another opposition party in sight. So, your hope of another thief taking over the reigns in other for you to resume stealing is very far fetched.
4-Overall, it is even better to allow PMB continue till 2023 to pave way for a southern candidate. Better for you if you are Southern inclined. If PDP presents a northern candidate and wins, it will be until 2027 before the South smells the presidency. Unless you are focused on resuming the stealing only.

So my advise is for you to repent, and stop your evil ways because your children and their own children will reap from your current actions/inactions. In any case, PMB will fight on. And i bet you, by end 2017, many of you would have been annihilated. Just book this space and watch.

So, you are telling us that Banks colluding with Civil Servants to steal Govt earnings and Buhari putting a halt to it (even though the TSA policy was initiated under Jonathan but he did not have the honesty and balls to implement it), is what threw Banking and Financial sector into turmoil?
If that is true the they were never a bank but thieving outfits. They need to die in that turmoil.

First, you dont make foreign exchange, you EARN IT.
The major way Nigeria EARNS forex is through sale of Crude oil.
Under GEJ it was as much as $130/Barrel.
Just when Buhari took power, it went down to as low as $28, through no fault of Buhari. it was a global problem.

So, Nigeria was not earning forex but Nigerians want to import everything from tooth-pick, to Biscuits, to shoes.
But when we were earning loads of forex, Jonathan and his gang of thieves were looting it into foreign banks. They did not save for the rainy day nor invest in local production of those basic things we are importing.
Those people whose business is mere importation (not real production of goods) are the ones crying because they are there only to waste our scarce forex.
How can a country grow when its economy is based on mere importation? I know my Biafra brothers are guilty of that but they like to shift the blame on Buhari

There is nothing Buhari has said about Nigeria, that people abroad dont already know.
Is it in Asia where they arrest and sentence Nigerian to death on a daily basis that Buhari wants to tell them about the Drug pushing of some Nigerians?
Is it the foreign banks abroad, were they see the stash of looted money, that Buhari wants to tell them anything new, about the stealing, looting and corruption of Nigerians (not all)?

Is it the Internet were you have hundreds of thousands of stories making the rounds about kidnapping, Boko Haram, violent robberies, e.t.c, that foreigners are already reading, that Buhari can tell them something they have not read online before or do you think these "investors" are as dull as some of you that only read Tontoh Dike and Tiwa Savage CLEAVAGE on the internet?

Buhari is just showing them that these administration will be honest and not pretend everything was fine, unlike the previous one of Jonathan and they are sure convenient with the truth, more than obvious LIES

These is a very funny reason! grin grin
So, in your brain, you think the Niger Delta is equal to the whole of Nigeria?
So, assuming projects are halted in the ND but not in the remaining parts of Nigeria, that should lead to recession, huh?
Abeg, wake-up. the ND is just less than 15% of Nigeria so its effect (assuming it is true, but we know that Buhari has initiated new projects and even restarted abandoned ones in the ND) will be minimal on the country.
Pipeline protection is a SCAM that created riches for plain CRIMINALS.
Our Military are paid huge sums to protect the country, we will not sub-contract their work to militants. End of story.
The recession is as a result of dwindling revenue and sabotage (Pipeline vandalization especially) by the same people blaming Buhari. We know them

The facts in this assertion are mostly true but then, if the WHOLE country mostly depends on Oil and some greedy tribes think they should arrogate a National property to themselves ONLY, just because it gushes out from their Region, do oyu not think it is smart of the President to also look for the same thing in his own region, incase we really need to "break-up"? Or do you want his region to be shortchanged and then forced to go to war to share in the oil?
Finding Oil in the North will make Nigeria's break-up easier, less bloody and faster.
It will also make the ND less important and we can tell them to go to blazes, which is what l think they are calling for
.

Look, even a blind person can see that PDP, especially under Jonathan, were just busy looting the resources of this country and they led us to where we are today.
Jonathan single-handedly supervised the destruction of this country.
From corruption, to violent crimes like kidnapping and armed robbery, to ritual killings, e.t.c, Jonathan's administration under his PDP party encouraged glorification of MONEY, debasing of our moral values and the 'get Money at all cost' mentality which leads to violent crimes without any form of compassion for fellow humans.
Under Jonathan, it was all just about getting Money at all or ANY COST.
So, any serious Govt cannot build its legacy on that history and house of corruption. Jonathan is just lucky that we are not under a military agenda otherwise, like Lt. Jerry Rawlings did in Ghana, all those PDP and some APC looters would just have been lined-up and shot by the miliatry, for economic subversion/sabotage.
if that happened, we wont be saddled with the likes of Saraki and Dogara and their band of budget-padding syndrome

There are some problems that dialogue cannot solve.
There are some people that dont understand dialogue except they are pressured into it or dont have an alternative.

Some of the problems we have are like Hostage-taking and blackmailing, those kind of problems understand ONLY FORCE.
for example, a kidnapper will blackmail you for money and keep doing so, if he is sure he can get away with it. You need force to put a stop to it.
Same goes for Militants (we have dialogued with them, sent them abroad for re-training in the last ten years, gave them jobs, e.t.c but it is obvious that they just want to be milking other hard-working Nigerians, till eternity).
Look at Boko haram as well/ if they want to dialogue with Govt, they have all the opportunity but they are Religious fanatics who want to create a caliphate within Nigeria. They are rapist and kidnappers, murderers of the innocent.
So, the Govt has a right and duty to protect its citizens from such criminal organisations, using all means necessary.

The strategy is that to deal with criminals is that they wont negotiate until they are certain the other option they have is total annihilation.
So, like the Americans will do, you pound the enemy (soften them) to the point were they have no other choice than to negotiate.
That makes negotiation easier.
That is what Buhari is doing.
Now that the various criminal gangs saw that Buhari is investing seriously in 'serious weapons' and the Military is being re-positioned to fulfill its role to the nation, some of them are beginning to see the wisdom in negotiation. undecided

I have decided to break it down for you so that misguided people like you dont think you are saying something meaning full, when you write such gibberish online.
Go back to school please.

Waoh!!! A logical and elaborate response to the trash. But wailers will not change. Possibility of viewing things from unbiased perspectives have eluded them. Almost a Helpless situation.

on point. Especially on the aspect of pipeline protection. Your property is believed to be safe when left into the custody of a thief.
I wonder o. I now see the thieves have a lot of paid agents in NL. Unfortunately, Baba will never accept those terms of their negotiation no matter the loudness of wailing.

The guys are fighting hard to bring down the economy then turn round to blame the government. I think they are assuming everyone is as dump as they are. People are seeing clearly the enemy of the state. Even if they keep bombing and wailing at the same time, till 2019, PDP cannot carry the day. Things can remain tough, but Nigerians will remain resolute and come out stronger and glorious, We will not return to the days of the locust on account of blackmail. The battle between progressive and vampires is long drawn. We will maintain vigilance.

You, definitely, are ignoring the antecedents to the 60% loss. Would it have been a 60% loss if Niger Delta was peaceful and there was no NDA? Would it have been a 60% loss if a more gradual approach was used to implement the TSA?
It would maybe not be 60% if ND was peaceful. But how do you ensure that. Pay the NDA guys and also pay the other emerging group? for pipeline contacts which they still bunker anyway?

You are not seeing the long term effect of the message that criminality pays.

Have you seen the full list of NDA demands?

IS IT YOUR RESOURCES?
This thing is getting funnier everyday. Who really own the resources? Na ND farm the oil? Na them put am for ground? Oil was formed millions of years ago when humans were not even created. Each time we hear our oil. Howhuh? U plant oil? better go try to be productive and stop hoping u will acquire the oil one day. You will wait forever o!
