MizMyColi:
I will not comment yet, until I see what the committee comes up with.

Slashing a 50 naira pay to 40 naira pay is nothing. You get?

Meanwhile, where have you been?sad
Actually, the review will be upward. for 2008 act. I bet if you check, you will even agree it be reviewed upward. The beauty of it is that it will still be a tremendious reduction in the NASS total emolument. There is no template in RMFAC that allows about 350mil for a senator. Not even the president. The reason is that, they from no where, monetised everything without any bases to arrive at those huge take home. OBJ govt did not challenge because of other invidious agenda. So even the upward review will trmemndiously slash their effective take home. See the gamehuh Truth is that no legislation is required. Just application of existing payment template. If you ague, then it can only be reverted to 2008, which is lower.

IF PMB achieves this, I will know the guy is got tremendious powers. He actually has the instruments to enforce it. The executive can turn everything to public debate and finally handtwist the NASS. And like a prick on a balloon, the houses will become a place to be avoided by the greed. Only men of valour and value to offer will parade in.

Sai Buhari!!!

PDP as a party is born to rule.
It doesn't matter who leaves or goes.

It is etched in their DNA.

Think PDP, Think National.

Think APC/ACN/CPC, Think Local Regional.

It would take years for the roles to the reversed.

Even though the leaders of the upper and lower house are APC, they owe an allegiance of sorts to PDP.
I never believed I would join those chanting this...
But hey,

Not interfering is not same as not intervening.

PMB says he will not interfere in how they choose their leaders.

It's not the same as not intervening when a problem needs to be solved by appealing to them to conduct themselves in a proper manner befitting of their status.

Interfere - 1. prevent (a process or activity) from continuing or being carried out properly.
"a job would interfere with his studies". 2. take part or intervene in an activity without invitation or necessity.
synonyms: impede, obstruct, stand in the way of, hinder, inhibit, restrict, constrain, hamper, handicap, cramp, check, block; More

Intervene - to come between disputing people, groups, etc.; intercede; mediate. 2. to occur or be between two things. 3. to occur or happen between other events or periods.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/intervene
You waste your time answering illitrate Tanoids. So because you don't want to interfere with something, you allow it to go wrong. Typical Tanoids way of reasoning.

The judge may likely rule this way:
He will rule on jurisdiction first and the decision is that he has jurisdiction and GMB was validly served through substituted means as ordered by the court.

For the people seeking to join, the court will refused them and call them interlopers because there is nothing in the case they will suffer more than ordinary Nigeria. At worst, they should have sued him too on their own.

On the main issue, it is obvious where the scale will tilt. Buhari is not qualified to contest because he didn't comply with the electoral Act.
The case is incurably bad for Buhari and APC.
I like the way you went. But you goofed finally. So the case will not be tried with arguements and requirement of evidences? Mind you, the accuser will have to provide evidence that he did not qualify. The laws will not be scrutinised and interpretations sought? These may take days if not weeks. The judge will just disqualify him. Mind you even the other cases for determination will still take time.
Those judges are smatter than that. Even if payed, they will meander out using technicalities as excuses.

Let this election be peaceful and devoid of any form of violence o.

If you are Voting, remember;

If you support PDP, you are paid to do so and apparently a thief;

But if you support APC, you are a patriot who is fighting for Nigeria.

If an APC governor award a km of road for N1.2billion, he is prudent and God sent;

If a PDP governor award same km of road for N500million, he is a thief.

If Fani Kayode joins PDP, he is bastard;

If Atiku joins APC, he is a democrat.

If Jonathan spends N7billion for his office par year, he is a criminal;

If Fashola spend same amount in a year, he is a saint.

If Akpabio approves N200Million as pension, he must be stoned;

If Fashola approved N300million for Tinubu he is a change agent.

If you cancelled toll gate as PDP government, you are an enemy of progress;

But if you build a road in Lagos, with tax payers money and toll the road, you are genius.

If you increase school fees as PDP government, you must be crucified;

If you do same as APC government, there must be a reason, cuz Education is not cheap anywhere in the world.

If you share Okada to the poor as PDP, you are poor peoples enemy;

If you ban Okada after election as an APC government, you are only helping the poor to stay alive, so you mean well.

If you single handedly make your daughter a market woman leader in APC state, it is for the progress of the people;

But if your wife is made a permanent secretary in your state by your state government of PDP, you are a greedy fellow.

If you spend N16billion on electricity without power and then support APC, you a navigator;

If you raise N500million through unbundling of same power, you are clueless.

If you fail to pay your workers for a month, but in APC, it is not your fault but someone up there;

But if you failed to pay your worker for a month and still in PDP, you are wicked human being.

If you force your family, in-law and girlfriends as senators and lawmakers on the rest of the party members, you a progressive leader;

But if you act like you don't care in PDP, you are dullard

If you tried to get a third term fraudulently by bribing the legislatures but failed, then support APC, you are democrat and the father of the nation;

If you try to get a constitutional second term in PDP, without their blessings, you an ingrate and silly.

In their time we had Halliburton scandal, ID card scandal, Siemens scandal, we have subsidy scam scandal, we have national stadium contract scandal, we have health budget financial scam, aviation sector scam, we had power sector scandal. How many people did he jail to prove he fought corruption? Rather EFCC was his big stick against his perceived enemies.

In their time we had a sitting governor kidnapped by a thug working for the president. We had a whole region of the country rigged in favor of his party. Morris Ibekwe, a wanted international fraud star won election under PDP.

They are part of those who stole Nigerians blind under PDP; Atiku, Obasanjo, Baraje, Saraki, Wammako, Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Oyinlola, Segun Oni, Okorocha, Ngige, El Rufai, etc, but are today the same people financing APC and calling for "CHANGE".

Flashback to 1999, who were these people? Billionaires ? They where nobody. Today, they spend billions and no one dare to ask a question. If you do you are enemy of progress.

They started with "New PDP" when that didn't fly, they joined a cult group called ACN to become APC. Same character with different nam

It is a big trap that even a simpleton should not walk into. If he wins before March 28th, the whole world will ask ' so you could do it in six months and you allowed it to linger on for over 5 years?' If he does not win, it will confirm his ineptness. So head or tail, he loses. I have seen his addent supporteds changing camp and wondering what magic is our military performing now that could not have been achieved before? PoliticsRe: Apc's Reply To Prof Charles Soludo by ikwubaba: 5:38pm On Jan 28, 2015
Bawss1:
Its quite commendable that APC saw it fit to respond to the questions that Soludo's article raised. Upon careful scrutinization of their plan however their response has more questions embedded in it than solutions.

In the quote above APC state that they intend to focus on agriculture, industrialization and public works as avenues to provide the funds and jobs they promise. Supporters of the incumbent party will say that the present administration is already doing these things; GEJ has been pointing to his government's efforts in agriculture, manufacturing (the newly commissioned auto-mobile plants for example) as one of the areas his administration has achieved some measure of success.

I have to ask, how is Buhari's plan in this regard better than GEJ's? This question also marries the concern of policy reversals, something virtually all governments in this country suffer from, when a new administration begins they tend to discontinue plans and policies made by their predecessors even when some progress has been made.
I'm sure you know GEJ government achievements are just on pages of newspaper. We talking of real work here. If for instant, you decided to build standard gauge bullet train connecting Port-harcourt to Maiduguri (of course after crushing completely the BH boys), That alone can generate hundreds of 1000s of job. If undertake to do a 40,000 Megawatts in 4 years, then you are in for real job generation. PDP in 16 yrs has not been able to add 2000 megawatts. Their road construction and Agricultural developments are just jokes. I think Soludo appropriately evaluted that.

PoliticsGEJ Did Not Finish PHD-OBJ by ikwubaba(op): 6:54am On Jan 24, 2015
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has predicted a victory for Buhari at the general elections next month and has insinuated that even Jonathan is aware that his days in office are quite numbered. Obasanjo pointed out that all the attacks being aimed Buhari’s way had to do with the knowledge in Jonathan’s camp that Buhari will win the popular votes come the presidential ballot.

“I see Buhari as the next President and Jonathan is aware of that, and that is the reason they are hitting him everywhere to put confusion in his camp. But a General is always a General… “ Obasanjo was quoted as saying by Greenbreporters.

The former President said the truth of the matter is that Jonathan is aware that Buhari is qualified to contest for the Presidential election but that “some hawks with Jonathan do not want him to contest because they believe that he will win and come for them”.

Obasanjo said the issue of Buhari’s certificate came up before the 2007 general elections and the former military ruler was given a clean bill of health to contest because investigations had proven that it was a non-issue.

“The issue (of Buhari’s certificate) came up in 2007, and we investigated and found out that his WASCE is with the military and that was why he was allowed to contest in 2007. Buhari cannot listen to anyone about his certificates because as a General of the Nigerian Army, he will speak when he chooses, not by Femi Fani Kayode and Okupe asking him to”, Obasanjo said.

Obasanjo said Fayose and other corrupt people including Kashamu do not want Buhari because of his anti-corruption stance and added that even Jonathan’s PhD program wasn’t completed before the incumbent was drafted into the Presidential contest as Yar’adua’s running mate.

“Even Jonathan did not finish his PhD course but when it was presented we stated that it does not matter but many people do not know because it was a PDP thing,” said Obasanjo.
