s3nn2x: Your playlist makes sense. You don't watch these videos because you think they belong to a cult linked to devil but you watch videos with naked girls and guys showcasing washboard abs singing about sex, drugs and money? |
Between my last update and now, I've read three books. One from the Theodore Boone series, The Accused by John Grisham and two from the Rainbow series, Rainbow Boys and Rainbow High. I'm not reading anything now, trying not to. |
Game of Thrones Main Theme. Unknown Artiste. Released 2011. |
I just finished watching the movie, Promethus and I'm wondering why released the virus that became an alien into Holloway's drink. Any ideas? |
TNT For The Brain by Enigma from the 2001 album Love Sensuality Devotion. Genre: New Age, Adult Contemporary. I heard this song ages ago when I was kid being used on an advert for HIV during the drama I Need To Know. I didn't know the name but I loved it. I didn't even know it was a real song. It is a pleasant surprise to download the song and recognise it. |
Nice To Meet You by Yanni from his 1992 album, Dare To Dream. |
Afrobasic: ^^^The World itself isn't wicked. Human beings are. |
masonkz: Then as a Christian, shouldn't you be in a haste to leave this world?I'm not. Because I'm not done with why I'm here. And I am not exactly a Christian. |
Review of Before I Go To Sleep by SL Watson As some of you may know, I suffered through a bout of "disappointing reads" last week, so it was with a sounding her that I moved down to the next book on my list, Before I Go To Sleep. And my verdict? (drums roll...) I like! With a catchy begining, this novel draws the reader into the bizarre everyday routine of Christine. Though the story isn't exactly a thriller by certain standards, it definitely has some mystery and thrilling moments. A page turner, Before I Go To Sleep held my attention everytime I started reading it and even when I wasn't reading. I was enthralled by how Christine lived her life with her psychological condition while trying to solve an all important puzzle about her life. There are no boring, exaggerated details (unlike a certain book ) so it an interesting, bumpless drive from start to finish. That's the much I can say without spoiling the story. My rating: 3.5 stars of 5 |
Lifted by Lighthouse Family from Whatever Gets You Through |
GSKing: So we can now LIKE people's profile picture on Nairaland. It seems like a waste of time and resources to me. What happens when you remove the picture? And worse, I can't be certain who exactly liked the photo! |
Hey, Hez (does this make sense or should I just write in full?). Welcome back. Obviously you were missed. Hope everybody's gotten better? |
masonkz: Obviously he's surrounded by people who don't really see a big deal in being gay. Both family and friends, else I doubt if he would have come out. I always suspected though..Yes. It's obvious he has loving understanding parents. But I'm a very private person, so I would never come out like this. Coming out is a private thing that I could do for family and friends. |
It was a surprise, and obviously a big deal. Homophobia is still on rampage in sports. I think people like this coming out helps young homosexual people to deal with their issues. But personally, I won't do what he did if I was in his shoes. |
I hate cramming. Not because I can't do it (some years ago, I crammed the whole book of Luke) but because I know how ineffective it is. I've found that I remember things that I didn't cram much better and longer. |
No. They don't. The world won't end with fire or water or such. Humanity will in the end, kill themselves. |
luvmijeje: @illuminatus move your mind from the gutter. This is my first time I'm reading a book that is mostly about sex and less of a story but didn't feel like I'm reading P.o rn. Maybe because the main characters love and stayed faithful to each other.I don't understand where the sentence in bold came from and I don't care. You're entitled to your opinion but your insults don't count. |
Hold On by Angus and Julia Stone. Powerful folk ballad. |
luvmijeje: I'm reading 50 shades trilogy by E.L. James. This book is Hooott and I mean hhhhooottt! I'm adding this author to my favourite list.Lol. How many times have masturbated yet? . The first book is epic. The rest... Hmmmm. You should find out for yourself. |
uj_sizzle: Thanks for the correction joorh, dunno where mind was.Well, I won't spoil it for you . Enjoy![]() |
Biblical? No. Logical? Yes |
uj_sizzle: Book 3 of the Hunger Games Series: Catching Fire.Hmmm. The book three is Mockingjay. It is more interesting than the second book but less entertaining than the first. |
Novecane by Frank Ocean |
