IjeBos: This is the exact definition of cooning. A white man says your country is a shithole and that people will refuse to return to their huts and here you are doing backflips to defend him. He trashed who you are and you're still on your knees waiting to suck his d*ck.
I don't like when he says this because it isn't presidential but he's right- Nigeria is a shithole country - a reason why some people actually like him is simply because he says what he says unlike other politicians who try to be politically correct. He said it's a shithole country because of how corrupt some African countries are - he never said Africans live in huts.
IjeBos: Ok, name 3 policies Trump enacted while he was President that helped you or improved the economy. And name 1 he will enact that will bring prices down.
I've waited for this moment because I've done a lot research. I can list 3 plus 17 The $1.7 trillion dollars Tax Cut Act that became implemented in 2018. What it affected - a. Middle-Class family income increased nearly $6,000 – more than five times the gains during the entire previous administration. b. The unemployment rate reached 3.5 percent, the lowest in a half-century. c. Achieved 40 months in a row with more job openings than job-hirings. d. Created more than 1.2 million manufacturing and construction jobs. e. Put in place policies to bring back supply chains from overseas. f. Small business optimism broke a 35-year old record in 2018.
2. Signed an Executive Order on Modernizing the Regulatory Framework for Agricultural Biotechnology Products which a. Brought innovative new technologies to market in American farming and agriculture. b. Strengthened America’s rural economy by investing over $1.3 billion through the Agriculture Department’s ReConnect Program to bring high-speed broadband infrastructure to rural America.
3. Massive Deregulation - he ended the regulatory assault on American Businesses and Workers.
Instead of 2-for-1, he eliminated 8 old regulations for every 1 new regulation adopted. a. Provided the average American household an extra $3,100 every year. b. Reduced the direct cost of regulatory compliance by $50 billion, and will reduce costs by an additional $50 billion in FY 2020 alone. c. Removed nearly 25,000 pages from the Federal Register – more than any other president. The previous administration added over 16,000 pages. d. Established the Governors’ Initiative on Regulatory Innovation to reduce outdated regulations at the state, local, and tribal levels. e. Signed an executive order to make it easier for businesses to offer retirement plans. f. Signed two executive orders to increase transparency in Federal agencies and protect Americans and their small businesses from administrative abuse. g. Modernized the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for the first time in over 40 years. h. Reduced approval times for major infrastructure projects from 10 or more years down to 2 years or less.
and a lot more that I can't begin to even type
What he has proposed - It's all in the video I sent first But main points a. Deport Illegal Aliens b. No Tax on Tips, Social Security and Overtime (all this Kamala decided to copy) c. Cut energy costs into half! d. No men in women's sports e. 10% Tariffs on countries like China using slave workers outside the United States f. Bringing manufacturing even in healthcare back to the United States and a whole lot more!
IjeBos: Fam, I have degrees from places you'll never enter. I enter spaces you'll never see whether it be in Nigeria or in the US. My car probably costs more than any money you've made the last 10 years. You're like dust to me and in my world. I'm sure if you ever saw me you'd be calling me Oga, begging for money or a job or both. Who the fux are you?
And yes you are not part of any group of person who will be voting. And so, your opinion is like an asshole. Everyone has them and from you they're just good for producing shit.
I live in Texas- never been a Trumper and I've been a 'Democrat' for years. This year I'll definitely vote for him simply because he's consistent with his stance on the economy and immigration. A lot of my friends can't even afford their mortgage anymore or even own a house simply because housing prices have gone up by 80%! They say the economy is doing great but only 18% of actual Americans not journalist say it is. I tried giving Harris a chance but her policies are so dumb that even CNN says it's- independent economists have stated it's even dumb🤷🏽♂️ -
$25,000 for first home owners - Where will she get the money from - She said from billionaires - which Biden said in 2020 - it never works or even gets implemented because it's not even enough to raise the revenue of the US.
She switches like a torch light with no concrete plan- Trump has never changed his plan on the economy or changed his stance on immigration and it actually worked during his time.
People think illegal immigration does not affect American people but it actually does. The Transportation industry now employs this illegals instead of Americans because it's cheaper- this people don't have to pay taxes but just use the American people's resources for free 🤷🏽♂️
The nail on the coffin was when she went on the View and said 'She won't do anything differently to Biden'. An extra is she's incompetent and it actually shows a lot - She doesn't even have an original idea and keeps saying exactly the same thing every single time to different questions. I went to the rally in Phoenix, Arizona and I was quite insulted - I was thinking she would even take questions from the rally folks after the rally but she didn't - she escaped yet again and decided to go to Call her Daddy instead.
Trump is a narcissist, very impulsive and a big baby and quite rude. I hate his guts and if there was a better candidate in the Democratic Party - I would have never hesitated but at least he promised a number of things in 2016 and actually did them 75% of the time unprecedented for a US President. This videos convinced me further to vote for him not for race and woman victimhood but for his policies
SpaceX has successfully launched its Starship rocket on Sunday morning for a fifth test flight, which featured a successful first-ever attempt to catch the returning Super Heavy booster using mechanical “chopsticks” on the launch tower.
Starship, which is now safely in orbit, is due to make a soft splashdown in the Indian Ocean later today, and won’t be recovered.
Starship and its Super Heavy booster — packed with 10 million pounds of propellant — launched on schedule at 8:25 a.m. ET (7:25 am CT/1225 GMT) from SpaceX’s facility in Boca Chica, Texas, close to the Mexican border.
OhBritannia: Citadel Diana episode 1 and 2 is a solid 8.5/10 so far.
Just 2 episodes in, i am already entertained. This spinoff is much better than the original citadel. This one is more focused on plot, character development and storyline. The technological tools and advancement being used in this series are mind blowing. It reminds me of 007 James bond franchise.
I like that the series is indirectly telling us not to trust government agencies, the more you look, the less you see. They create chaos and wars and then sell the weapons they create for the same wars they started.
Anyways, i will download and bingewatch episode 3 to 6 ASAP.
iamL: Even the actors are not ashamed of themselves. If a producer is not getting it right the actors can set him straight and if he chooses to go ahead and make a ridiculous movie you walk out of the movie. But we know Nigeria stars are after been paid not reputation.
That's why I support Hollywood in adapting our African stories as long as our African value and cultures are not replaced.
It's not easy enough. Besides The Producers actually own the production of the film - they can make or mar an actor's career so actors try not to piss them off
The hype for the Wicked movie here in the US is insane you guys don't understand and the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. It had the potential to make a billion
oyaskii: lol Netflix thinks, spamming Nigerian content, will get more people to subscribe here 😃. I can't even begin to count the reasons why this is counter productive, chief among them being, the damn economy dealing squarely with like 70% of the populace. Can't be thinking of Netflix sub when belly dey empty and other more important bills dey pile up fa 😩. Infact, active Netflix subscribers here is below 200k!. South Africa has like 70% of the total subscribers in sub Saharan africa, so I don't know why Netflix is not throwing their money there.
Well, i have longed clocked that, "The Idea of being Nigerian" has a far more appealing allure, than "being Nigerian and actually living here".... people around the world love our content for some reason and it is very easy for Netflix to sell it.
Kaycee7 say make we wait, say 2035, say him go change the industry....so fingers crossed 🤞🏿 and Inshallah 🙏🏿😁
You're right. But I think it's growing fast. Let's see how it goes. Having Netflix here is like a necessity but in Nigeria some people see it as waste and some how it's true😂
Nollywood in my opinion have two major problems - they're not willing to take risks esp risky stories and scripts and they're not creative enough to solve filmmaking problems. They'd rather recycle stories and add little bits to make it seem new when it's not. In this Hijack '93 - it's like that Apple 'Hijack' series with worst story telling
IngeniousLeez: Hmm, interesting premise..... But the costumes, set, location and feel of the movie ain't it. Toyota Hilux vehicles for the military in 1993? See the camo worn by the soldiers sef, it looks very modern. Even that helicopter transport Mi-17 desert camo looks like something as recent as 2015. At least they seem to have had some sort of collabo with the military.
Is this another vibes and insha'Allah project from Netflix Nollywood ?? Oyaskii come see your people. 😂

oyaskii: Bruhhh... Nollywood stresses me out fr 😩.
It's even Netflix i blame because, it's like they don't care about their rep here. How are they giving 100% creative keys to Nigerian Filmmakers who have shown gross incompetence in times past?
If you are adapting a movie from an historical event, common sense should tell you that the props is the absolute thing you get right even if all other part is wrong.
Well, you'd just know it's the most obvious 4/10 flick 🕊️🕊️😩...but i will still show up... pretty clear that this industry might never leave the trenches.
That's why I trust Hollywood adapting a Nigerian fictional story? They'd put more effort telling the story more than our incompetent movie producers
abduleez1: Bruh, I concede. 😩😩 I don't think Todd Phillips will have a job anymore for a high budget big studio project in the near future. The man has burnt bridges and is a living cautionary tale as to why studios supervises Directors.
Exactly! When success gets to your head. I heard Christopher Nolan was even involved in the first Joker movie but this dump was all Todd Phillips doing🤷🏽♂️. He knows it that's why he secluded himself to a cabin in the middle of nowhere
OhBritannia: Lol but all jokes aside, penguin is a good show.
Though when it comes to ratings, i recently rated Deadpool and wolverine a 2 and it's because i feel like both the writers and the casts weren't serious. Maybe they used the movie as a front for money laundering. Lol
The movie shouldn't be taken too seriously that's where you missed the whole point, it's a comedy. They were very true to the comics- you may not have just gotten the jokes - but I got the jokes and the audience in the cinemas were laughing soooo much bro
In other news..... Joaquin Phoenix said he came up with the idea of Joker 2 as a dream
OhBritannia: By reddit you mean you saw spoilers? And you are right on how good the writing of show is, one of the things i like about the writing of the show is how well they are focusing now on character developments, you can see that some characters are now beginning to grow on the audience and that's how a show is supposed to grow.
Yeah- I know what happens in the next episode. You guys aren't ready at all😭😭😭
pu7pl3: Tell me you dont know what a Villain means without telling me you don't know what a Villain means.
People are still actually rooting for him because that's how he's written - at the beginning and middle- we tend to humanise him- then at the end he shoves reality back to our face
OhBritannia: The penguin episode 3 is a solid 9/10 for me.
Personally this is the best episodes so far solely because of the character development and then telling the storyline in a deep manner so that the audience can finally connect and relate to what's going on.
I like the final transition of Victor from being innocent and now fully in the game and what he had to give up in order to fully transcend into the game. I like the deep dialogues in this episode 3, dialogues of character developments.
Now the game has began fully, i can't wait for episode 4.
Reddit spoiled the e4 for me. It's actually mind-numbing how good the writers of the show are
oyaskii: We might have to declare a public holiday the day a show rates below 5 in your books 😩.
I envy your exceptional high taste bossman, you have a clairvoyant knack of only picking the best shows to see..👍🏾
Coming from me though - The Penguin is a masterpiece - I sincerely can't believe how our guy is giving the same score with TROP. The episode 3 is a masterclass of acting and great dialogue and subversion of expectation, I highly recommend
oyaskii: Has a show even become dramatically better after a bad season in recent times? 🤔...it rarely happens. For it to happen, the preceding season has to have some form of discernable quality.
I have no business continuing a show, that contextually had a bad season in my view...i need to be this ruthless considering how precious the time and effort, I am vesting into it, is 😩
It's a tragic love story about a poetry writer falling in love with a highly sought after courtesan.
This is definitely one of the loudest and chaotically filmed, edited and sound mixing or scoring I've ever seen in an opening 30 mins for a movie.
All Baz Luhrmann movies are so chaotic it's head-aching: The Great Gatsby is the worst. I couldn't understand the movie at all because of all the unnecessary camera movements and chaotic dialogue. Only Elvis was slowed down
Ishilove: The Dark Tower is due for adaptation? Great!! They better not mess it up like they have done with Salem's Lot, which indeed is one of the scariest King novels and I am truly amazed at the negative reviews it has been receiving.
I still can't believe they haven't rebooted Needful Things, it's the first big I've ever reread more than 6 times as a teenager- one of my best books
Colson: Came here to check for TV series to binge watch. Started watching "the last of us" two days ago and was enjoying the show until episode 3 where there was an unnecessary and off-putting gay scene. I stopped watching and totally lost interest in the series since then.
Thank God you stopped so you won't get too invested because the S2 would potentially be the gayest series on television
OhBritannia: How we felt throughout season 1 and 2 on who is sauron.. Lol
Is like you were paid to hype this series😂 you're like the only one creating memes to acknowledge the dogshit of a series you just watched😂😭. For a LOTR series, Videos that reacts to it or an essay acknowledging it's good gets really really low views compared to other series like even tiny Industry😂. But do you
TemporaryHansel: Although ratings are subjective, I think this guy over exaggerate too much. This was the same way he rated Queen Woo 10/10. Imagine rating that bore fest 10/10?
I must say your taste in films is quite weird... Well, everything comes to personal choices in the end. Maybe I have too much expectations, that's why I'm disappointed? 🤔
The same guy that rated Deadpool and Wolverine a 2😂. I don't take his ratings seriously at all. I heard the last episode of TROP was good but it wasn't great in any way shape or form. The only good thing about the season was just Sauron - the rest of the characters are bore-fests galore.
