Explain to me what was his foreign policy was that worked. What specifically did he do?
As to the economy, what economic policy/plan did he enact that worked.
Explain it to me like I'm a child.

It's easy to say something worked without explaining nor understanding why it worked.
It has been very effective propaganda by Trump.
And honestly, a lot of people have fallen for it.

What is worrying, you're a black Nigerian man who says he lives in Texas.
You seem little concerned about the explosion of racism and xenophobia and more so if Trump is elected. Esp. in Texas.
I don't give a shit about identity politics brother and since I came here I've never experienced racism here in Dallas. Trump's economic policies have all worked when everyone said it won't. There was no inflation throughout his presidency everyone you meet will say exactly the same thing - that's just one of the reason many people are voting for him. And I can tell you the racist one is Kamala Harris. Just yesterday she said she would give and forgive 1 million dollar loans for black men - isn't that divisive and racist - that means if you go to take a loan as a white or Asian or Hispanic person they'll reject you based on your skin colour- she's the racist and the divisive person

Did you watch it?
That they clapped should tell you something.
I listened to it on my drive home yesterday.
Can you tell me one specific policy he would enact?
He said his tariffs were only for negotiation so it won't raise prices.
He also said he would need the revenue generated from those tariffs to raise trillions of money to pay for his programs.
Which one is it ? It can't be both. And even if were the latter and he placed tariffs on every import, it still wouldn't be enough to pay for his programs.
His remarks were beyond dumb.

It was economic policy gibberish, but some smart people in that room applauded. Not because they didn't know it was gibberish, because they care more about the tax cuts and grift they would get for his administration.
Basic robber barons. Akin to those supporting Tinubu right now.
No matter what you say - please be very honest to yourself- Trump's foreign policies and economic plans has always worked

1st, I am not as sure as you that she will win, but I pray she does.

I cannot totally disagree with you... There are many smarter Dems I can easily pick ahead of Kamala. But when the opponent is Trump, I will pick Kamala ahead of him by far.

The scripture says the race is not for the swift... time and chance happen to us all. Else it should not have been possible for Trump to be president when a certain brilliant and more honorable Romney couldn't win it. Biden made Kamala his vice, base on the recommendations and appraisal of his late son, and if Biden had stepped down much earlier...perhaps it wouldn't have been her... Just maybe it is in her destiny and everything is working in her favor. She might have not even stood a chance if Republicans had picked a much more decent candidate who doesn't have all the baggage Trump has.

Also, part of me want her to break the deadlock of a woman president once and for all, this will encourage all these smart bad ass women to join the race in the future.
She's going to win.
Identity politics has never worked in the presidency. She doesn't have a specific plan of her own and that's actually so bad if you really think about it - she has changed every single one of her policies that means she's easily swayed. There're more lobbyists than lawmakers in the US and they're all fighting for their companies not the citizens. America needs a strong president with a specific goal and can't be easily swayed by the people around her. I honestly fear for our future sincerely. Being a woman - if she performs poorly and doesn't fulfill all the promises she has made - the stereotype of femininity will increase the same way Black to black crimes increased during Obama's presidency- that'll be bad for women in politics🤷🏽‍♂️. If they'd picked a better woman candidate than Harris I'll be way more comfortable

Agree the race is close, but either of the 2 can win Georgia. So it might boil than to which party is able to drive out it's base in higher turnout. From the look of things, Dems are doing just that. Also, with all the new election rules in Georgia that seem to make it more difficult to vote in Georgia, looks like Dems are coming out early to overcome all those.

With the polls showing a tight race, it might just work in favor of Kamala, at least Dems will not take anything for granted like they did for Hillary.
Just to be totally honest with you - I believe Kamala would win the election but like almost every Democrat I don't think she's the best candidate to be President let's just be honest - there're a lot of really smart Democrats they should have picked. America is in a tough position right now and she's not suitable enough to be better than Biden. Or what do you think?

😂😂😂😂 Wow Nov 5th will be an eye opener for you guys. Biden had covid on his side and he still won Georgia only by a 0.8% margin when polls were saying 3-4% and you actually think Cackala will win Georgia.
There's no doubt she could win the election but she's definitely not winning Georgia

There're good shows but there's no Game of Thrones and it fckin sucks. I wish I could erase Game of Thrones from my mind and rewatch over again.

No joke at all. There's tons of book in my library and more to add but sometimes I just know within myself say I dey whine myself. There's no time. The few ones I actually forced myself to read and while I quite enjoyed them I haven't read past 10% of the book's content. Talkless of the tons of literature and non fiction I haven't even started.

If it was during my younger years I would have cleared almost all if not all by now. I could easily read a full novel within 24hrs - 36hrs. Now it seems I read at snail's pace. The volumes of pages even scares me unlike before where I cherished seeing mountainous volumes of pages to read.
You’ve not read Things Fall Apart??

At least she understands Africa real need unlike Trump that think we are beggars in Africa surviving by US and other western countries' aids. Even small Gambia of less than 2M population, under their former leader told commonwealth to shove their aids in their ass.

Kamala understands the need, she already made some effort as VP and she said she will continue in that direction as president.
State the efforts😂 you surely can't

Invincible season 2 was anything but a great season.

Coming from season 1, it was very underwhelming. The release schedule and PowerPoint animation didn't help.

The season finale antagonist was someone who barely anyone could even remember. He appeared in like Episode 1 and disappeared.

Considering the mid season break, most people even forgot who he was when he appeared again at the finale. There was literally nothing compelling about him. The only thing I can recall him for is his big head.

Ask most random people what happened in Invincible S2 and they won't recall.

Personally all I can recall are the fish episode, Mark meeting his father and his new family and the final villain who I can only recall for his big head
Ok that's your opinion😂 it's highly rated on every score so you're just a minority

Nah bro.... That's just dictionary meaning and academic.

A blockbuster movie also means the money put into it, and pedigree of filmmakers behind it and scope of the film.

Then why are upcoming films like Minecraft, Wicked, Superman: Legacy etc tagged blockbusters despite not even out yet to measure their box office success. Why is Joker Folie á Deaux tagged a blockbuster flop?

I watched Kamala Harris interview about Black Agenda with Roland in North Carolina, and I like her response on the Africa continent question. Like I posted here yesterday, unlike Trump and his followers including raumdeuter; she understands that Africa has gone beyond aids and handouts, and what Africa needs and appreciate are business partners.

I didn't even know she visited Africa as VP and she said promoted many investments worth several millions in Africa. That's a good start.

China and now recently Russia are winning over many African countries with business partnerships worth several billions while Trump who knows nada about Africa think we are still living in caves and huts in Africa.
WHO TF IS VP NOW?!! China and now recently Russia are winning over many African countries with business partnerships worth several billions - WHAT IS THE US GOVT DOING ABOUT IT NOW?! If Harris cares about Africa - what has the US done to help Africa right now. China and Russia is busy forgiving loans of African countries and you think Africa would not patronise China or Russia

Those stories are blockbusters in Nigeria's level. A Things Fall Apart adaptation will always be regarded as a blockbuster in Nigeria no matter who's adapting it. Same as Half of a Yellow Sun, Joys of Motherhood, Purple Hibiscus, The Last Days at Forcados High School, Arrow of God etc...

Damn, I need to go read some of these I missed.

A blockbuster is not something that is just popular - maybe you're right

citadel Diana entire season 1 is a solid 8/10 for me.

The plot in this series is one thing i love about this series, it got to episode 5 before you fully realise what is going on and who really killed who.
Damm!! This is why i love spy series or movies that someone has to act as a double agent, working for an enemy agency isn't easy at all..

Since this series was set in a future 2030, i am made to believe that the breathtaking technological advancements we see in this series is them trying to tell us what they have in store for us for the future.
Where an item like a biro can fully transform into a full blown huge gun, where someone don't need to introduce himself or herself to you before you know who the person is, all you gats do is put something like an eye lid in your eyes and the person's entire information will flash down your eyes, though this technology is only for specific agents.

Another revelation this series tells you is that soon people's lives will now be at the hands of these agencies and government, all they have to do is put something inside the central water system and anyone from the city that drinks the water, their whole life's information and location is already been watched.
I have seen this being played out in so many series but i guess they are telling us ahead of their plans.
Sometimes i do appreciate living in Nigeria where we can dig our own bore holes because soon water being supplied by the government can't be trusted anymore, who is to say they haven't started it already in cities in usa and the UK.

Anyways back to the series proper, i can't believe the foolish son killed his own dad all because of a girl, the fool don't know that it is the same girl that killed his brother, same spy agent.

Season 2 will be interesting, i want to look at his face when he sees the foolish decision he has made.
🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
An absolute shit of a series!! I couldn't get past an episode without cringing. From now on any series you recommend I know it's shit

I could rewatch the first season, but I don't think there was anything in the second season worth rewatching...

I read the piece and The title is as clickbaity as they come and the entire thing feels oxymoronic because this adaptation is 100% Hollywood as far as we know, and i still can't see how it helps Nollywood get ahead.

Why is the industry just showing interest now that a foreign industry has picked it up? why haven't they done an adaptation since the last one yester yester years ago?

Fact is, If Hollywood continues to pick up Nigerian literature to adapt, the praises sadly does not come to Nollywood. Nollywood can start doing themselves a favor, by adapting the 100s of good literature we have here.

Unfortunately for you truckers who don't want to buy a gas truck but an EV are actually buy it for your information that's why it's the best selling EV truck this year ahead of the Ford EV. Families are buying it to. Unlike other trucks it's useful for trucking and can also be luxurious, fast, modern and more energy sufficient them other gas and EV trucks.
