The folk who said Snyder's writing in movies are good is dumb, none of the film's written by Snyder has ever been good. Maybe the action is usually great but in Rebel Moon - both the writing and action are very bad, to many slow mo shots and crappy dialogue sequences. No rewatchability value. I decided to watch Watchmen recently. The movie is so baddddd!!!!! And I watched the 4 hours cut!!!! Everything is just all over the place. I don't still know what Animation is doing there!!!

The originals.
Legend of the seeker.
Secret circle.
Witches of the east end.
Spartacus.
Merlin.

I think series over the years have changed drastically and doesn't give enough time for the audience to fall completely in love with the casts and that has made people to watch a series just once and forget about the series then move to another.

Back in the days, a single character or few characters in a series can make you go back to re-watch the entire series again, just because you fell in love with a character.
For example, i have re watched the originals more than 5 times simply because Klaus Michealson became the actor i like the most, i just fell for his acting in the originals and with some outstanding characters like Elijah, Rebekah and the rest.

I keep going back to watch legend of the seeker because of the mother Confessor. I can tell you for a fact that i fell in love with that woman, till today my affection for her never wavers, i am crazy about her.
My point is that series nowadays are being rushed and they give no time for character development and for the audience to fall in love with the casts.

If you ask anybody in this group, which of the series they can watch again, they will all mention old series and this is why you see that many people, especially teenagers are crazy about Korea actresses and actors, it's because they give room for character development.

You're so effing right!! There're so many series you could watch over and over again and it gets better every time.
Korean series are so rewatchable too. Series like boys before flowers, City Hunter and heirs are the standard for rewatchability
Series I've rewatched over and over again is definitely Game of Thrones, I've rewatched this like a thousand times and plan to rewatch when house of the Dragon comes out.

The tragedy was top notch. Can't believe I was moved to tears when Nemesis died and the boy was with her. It's so chilly chilling scene.

Also when Gunner died.. that's expected. Athelisas must pay for her sins one way or the other

Its nice when Jimmy showed up too to join the fight..

Zack Snyder.. you are the man!

I used 2gb to download this movie thinking Rebel Moon couldn't get any worse, I was wrong. Worst movie and worst dialogue I have ever seen in a movie this year and it isn't even close. I couldn't even finish it😂😂😭. Someone should be looking over Zack Snyder's head when he's writing nonsense

The absolute dire state of cinema culture mann 😫. The wait time for blockbusters to hit VOD shelves is like one month!. At this despicable rate, no movie is clocking 1bn greens anytime soon, even gulping 500 mil, would be an absolute miracle fgs.

In the case of Monkey Man, I wasn't expecting it to make a lot of money. I just know it will be very successful on streaming

1. I like relationship btw emperor shaddam and his daughter a father that listen to his daughter who is a bene gesserit , who else notice that bene gesserit actually controls all the great houses the root of this witches is very deep

2. Stilgar and gurney loyalty to Paul can't be questioned, this guys both believes he's the messiah even before Paul took control

3. Lady Jessica talking to her unborn child, also overthrowing the sisterhood, what space cocaine cannot do does not exist

Those scenes with Stilgar (Javier Bardem) was soo funny to me. Paul could tell Stilgar to cut his two hands and he'll agree! L'isan Al'Ghaib!

Maybe the haters watched the 480p version. I rewatched the 1080p version. The movie is just too beautiful to exist!

Seems some don't like the movie.
I was also shocked a friend said he didn't like DUNE Part one. And said it was mid. This is a person whom I highly rate his entertainment choices since most of my hobbies and content are very similar.

Also met someone few weeks ago saying Dune was boring, I no too mind am and look am say e no sabi film. So it's prolly a matter of "one man's meat is another man's poison."

Dune Part Two - 12/10
I rewatched this movie on my phone this time. It felt like it was too short!!! The run time could be 4 hours and I would be happy! One of the most rewatchable movies I have ever scene. Every scene is a painting. You could pause at a particular part and you could use it for a wallpaper. One of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched!

Auggie is the most unlikeable and annoying character in the show....she pisses me off everytime she's on screen.

If you don't want to make efforts to help your race, that's fine, but actively discouraging others from doing so all because your work was used to kill humans who sided with the enemy and have been leading the alien race to earth is annoying...

At least other sensible characters are doing what needs to be done...not that Auggie who is nothing more than a Mary Sue and one with so much nonsense childish drama


Anyway, I've been looking for spoilers from the books the series is based on

This is actually a very real thought process for people without families and who may never have one. It's just a representation of lonely people who don't want to have families

Unlike minus 1, this movie is just about the monsters, fun destructions. THe only stuff in the movie without plot armor are the buildings, No one cares for architecture anymore

Movies I watched this week -
Aliens - 1979 (9/10) - THis movie have the most useless scientist and astronauts of all times. Apart from that, the vfx still holds to this day. Not quite as horrific as the Evil Dead
Evil Dead (1981) - 110/10 - I couldn't watch this movie without skipping a lot of places. Anyone who can watch this movie fully is a certified demon to be totally honest because wtf!!!!!!!!!!! I can't imagine myself rewatching this movie alone. THis is far more horrific than the COnjuring and Sinister joined together and it is just an hour and 30 minutes
Nymphomaniac - 7/10 - I was curious about watching NC-17 and X rated movies that are artforms but not porn and this movies stands out above every thing else. Better than Showgirls in my opinion. It is about a nymphomaniac and her sexcapades. Apart from all the many sex scenes where we could see her sucking stuff without blurring anything. It is just like porm but with a story. Mia Goth, Uma Thurman and the Dune guy is even in this movie. Nuts!
Road House (1989) - 2/10 - THis movie is totally boring asf! The new version is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better
Bad Boys - 9/10 - One of my most nostalgic films of all times. Still hilarious and heartwarming till this day
Drive - 9/10 - This movie is insane. I thought it would be a slow burn but omo, blood everywhere and insanely realistic in a way. high rewatchability value
King Kong - Very Fun almost 4 hour movie (Peter Jackson and his love of 4 hour movies should be checked
