Mr and Mrs Smith ..... 7.5/10

Grew into their dynamic. The show focused to exploring the dynamics of their relationship.

They also didn't act very professional in a lot of instances. It's amazing they weren't caught with the amount of public iish they did...

The ending was also open-ended...
But due to the fact that 3 shots were fired....well...
I'll give it an 8/10. I just rewatched the real Mr & Mrs Smith and i give the new show props on the realism of its relationships. The dialogue in this show is just so awesome to me, very realistic and the humor is solid

Next they will say remake Harry potter with Snape as a sensitive and goofy character
Nah not possible at all. It's HBO not Netflix plus all the directors of the first Harry Potter are all producers of the show including j K Rowling

The said "sexism" was infact very important or probably the most important element that made Sokka's character arc and development one of the best in the entire thing. From belittling his sister, to meeting the Kyoshi warriors and ultimately finding out his sister who he had little regard for, was infact a master bender thus completely changing his view for the better.

So how are you going to cut or tone down this elite character arc because some eyes and ears will be too brittle to see and hear it??

Anyway, i am already half arsed about this live action tbh, so I can't be bothered.
Tbh, I was totally pumped for the show after watching the trailers, it seemed it would be a great adaptation but when I looked up the show-runner I just shook my head and hoped for the worst. The guy has been a leftist considering his tweets and the movies he had made. Also, none of the writers who worked on the original wrote a single parchment of the show.

Albert Kim - the show-runner was even forced to watch the show by his daughter so I just gave up- most of the time, it's actually obsessed fans that actually direct this kind of movies just like the show-runner of the One Piece live action.

Then the biggest bomb was when I heard the creators had "creative difference" and had to drop out. If they add a gay character I won't be surprised considering Netflix's past records. The only reason they're almost no changes in One Piece is because the creator ensured Netflix signed a contract that allowed him to have almost all creative decisions in the story.

What also disgusts me is an upcoming actress with no particular career ahead of her if this fails calls the original "iffy" which is seriously disrespectful! How can you call a show as progressive as Avatar sexist because a character is. It's absolutely abhoring.

The characters are likely one dimensional giving the fact that execs in Netflix are scared of character arcs and development. This show would have been in better hands if it was HBO

I watched it in theatres. Although I created a bot on telegram that sends movie files both old and new movies if you type in the name, it'll send the movie file both 720p & 1080p immediately so Zone of Interest might be there. It has almost 400k films. If you need the link, just holla me

grin grin career ending movie?

I didn't even notice he was the one until you said it...

And it's definitely not the worst movie of all time
To a lot of people it is, to you it isn't, there's a lot of difference. Also, the movie ended the career of 80% of everyone who worked on the movie not just actors but VFX team, storyboarders, the writers. This even impacted the fourth season they were planning

What I watched this week

The Zone of Interest- 8/10
I'm really sure it would win best sound because the whole story relied on the sounds which were so deep. Unfortunately, it would be boring for most people

Halloween (1978) - 6/10
When I saw John Carpenter made this movie I decided to give it a watch and it disappointed me. I seriously don't know how this movie became a classic in the first place, maybe it was just a horror movie no one has seen before. Scream (1996) did it way better

Migration 8/10
This was a fun movie to watch. A fun time for your kids

There Will be Blood- 9/10
I now understand why Daniel Day Lewis makes just a minute amount of movies. His acting just seems so flawless and the pacing of this movie so profound it made me clap when the end credits came up

Wish (2/10)
One of the biggest pile of dogshit ever produced by Disney. The animation looks like a tv show commercial and the story feels like AI who just started to understand human interactions

The Matrix 10/10 -
I watched this last when I was 9 and this movie is like a prophecy waiting to be fulfilled. In 1999, the story would have sounded ridiculous but now it seems like a probable event that's about to happen. I enjoyed every minute of this once again

Movies to watch this week
Ferrari
Aquaman and the lost kingdom
Alien 1977
Aliens 1986
Cloverfield
Texas Chainsaw Massacre

I'm actually hyped for this movie
Unfortunately, I can only imagine Dev Patel as Zuko in the worst film of all times Avatar the Last Airbender😂. The fact that he forgot his past and is directing movies is a massive achievement. 97% of the actors in the movie ended their careers right there

First bolded, I'm actually talking about the acting between Ferrera and McAdams - McAdams was way better in Are you there God, it's me Margaret - Ferrera was only given that nomination because of her Men are evil speech - only that scene

About Margot - her roles have always been one dimensional - The Wolf of Wall Street, The Suicide Squad, Babylon, I, Tonya, Once upon a time in Hollywood - they've all been the same characters all the time - she may be a good actress but we dont actually know that yet. Take a look at Emma Stone and Charlize Theron works - although they're all beautiful looking actresses - there movie roles have multiple dimensions - Monster is a good example - Charlize Theron totally killed that role when everyone thinks she was just a beautiful face
This actually sums up my thoughts on this matter

The media has been milking the Greta and Margot Robbie's Oscar snub for virtue signalling...

Barbie got 8 nominations ffs and the woke media is acting like it's not enough for mumu optics.

"The women most responsible for the success of Barbie were snubbed, therefore bla bla.... "

Go fvck yourselves with your brain dead agenda
Like it's just sooooo strange. How does being a blockbuster make you win awards, if that's the case, Avengers Endgame which was definitely wayyyyyy better than most films that came out that year would be nominated, Greta has been nominated before too, she has 3 best picture nominations already- Margot Robbie didn't do even half better than the female actresses in her category.
Barbie was not that good, the hype should die down

The effects were top notch...I said it before...

It blows the One Piece LA series out of the water in that department
Nahh, the One Piece effects are perfect - the only reason Avatar's effect seems better is because of the world building and bending which requires a lot of CGI, note that the One Piece budget is actually bigger than this too

In Nigeria today most people see marrying a white girl as a very risky thing.

owing to the fact that you may get divorced, your children may never come back to Nigeria and all of that....

But I'm of the belief that some countries have white women who are exceptionally loyal and cool headed, Brazil for example.

But yet I will like to here a firsthand experience story..

Sir please give us your candid advise...

Is it worth it, is it advisable like what's your experience?
I'm biracial and my parents have been married for 23 years without a significant issue

"The Boy who harnessed the wind" (2019).

"Inspiring and Uplifting"

This Biopic tells the story of a boy whose village faced severe drought and famine, and he was able to harness wind energy from crude materials to provide water and save his village from starvation.
A very nice watch 8/10.

Side Note: Will Africa ever leave the trenches? The movie was based in Malawi but if i didn't know, i could have sworn it was Nigeria, because it's basically the same problem and scenery, lack of portable water, lack of electricity, more out of school children and so many problems that are so alien to first class countries! Like how hard can it be to provide just basic amenities? I was on a video conference call with colleagues from Brazil one time and they "took my light" and my screen went dark, and they were genuinely afraid for me, they kept asking if i was okay, and i explained to them that they "sieze power" and could you believe this people didn't understand the concept!, like they haven't experienced such before 😭😭 and mind you Brazil is still tagged as a fellow 3rd world country but they have somehow hacked their way out of basic problems that still plagues us here.

Racism is despicable but i feel Africans makes it easy, It's easy to question if the knowledge to be great rest only on the white race.
African and to be specific Sub Saharan Africa is still a long way off from being a "proper continent" and i fear it may never attain it. 😮‍💨
This is a truly honest question. I've been following this issue of how massive racism really is esp in the United States and China.

No matter how Africa changes, it won't change racism in the slightest

367 downloads?? 😩😩. Find time to watch them and declutter!.

My YouTube life is actually well curated lol, i devote time weekly to watch videos i "liked" during the week but i never go near that "download" button. Andriod apps are too unstable to take that risk, small shake to the cache and data of the YouTube app and you'd lose those downloads in an instant 😩.

Plus those downloads require alot of storage to function properly because of how YouTube encrypts their downloaded videos.

So my basically just like, watch and move on, although they keep recommending but i never hit that "download" button 🙃

2001: A Space Odyssey

This is the greatest science-fiction epic ever made for its time. This is supported by those who claim to understand the complexities involved and leading up the Star Child ending. The others, like myself, find it as absorbing as watching paint dry on woodwork.

The musical background is glorious, the colors are dazzling, and there's an interesting use of HAL as a villainous computer. Beyond that, there is nothing the least bit interesting about the human characters (trite dialogue and no personality or warmth to any of the individuals), the pace is unbelievably slow (so the intellectually gifted can philosophize on the mysteries of space), and the payoff at the end leaves you either breathless with enlightenment or convinced that you have watched three hours of nothingness.

I had the same letdown feeling when I watched THE CLOCKWORK ORANGE, so your like or dislike of this movie is purely dependent on personal taste. Intellectuals will take the position that you are a mentally challenged clod if you dare disagree with their elevated opinion of the movie--so be aware that this is not conventional story-telling in any sense whatsoever and only for those who admire Stanley Kubrick's way with unlikely cinematic material.

The fact that for the 1st 25 minutes no dialogue ensued, just a bunch of chimpanzees crying for bananas or some shit is just crazy
