gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Drop your prediction and possible lineup |
Baddestguyp:I'll give it an 8/10. I just rewatched the real Mr & Mrs Smith and i give the new show props on the realism of its relationships. The dialogue in this show is just so awesome to me, very realistic and the humor is solid |
Goal!!!!!!!! |
cezarman:Copy and paste on a new page on Chrome |
ErenXSatoru:sent |
cezarman:https:///+EOMLZiOQCWQ2MGFk |
GloriousGbola:Nah not possible at all. It's HBO not Netflix plus all the directors of the first Harry Potter are all producers of the show including j K Rowling |
oyaskii:Tbh, I was totally pumped for the show after watching the trailers, it seemed it would be a great adaptation but when I looked up the show-runner I just shook my head and hoped for the worst. The guy has been a leftist considering his tweets and the movies he had made. Also, none of the writers who worked on the original wrote a single parchment of the show. Albert Kim - the show-runner was even forced to watch the show by his daughter so I just gave up- most of the time, it's actually obsessed fans that actually direct this kind of movies just like the show-runner of the One Piece live action. Then the biggest bomb was when I heard the creators had "creative difference" and had to drop out. If they add a gay character I won't be surprised considering Netflix's past records. The only reason they're almost no changes in One Piece is because the creator ensured Netflix signed a contract that allowed him to have almost all creative decisions in the story. What also disgusts me is an upcoming actress with no particular career ahead of her if this fails calls the original "iffy" which is seriously disrespectful! How can you call a show as progressive as Avatar sexist because a character is. It's absolutely abhoring. The characters are likely one dimensional giving the fact that execs in Netflix are scared of character arcs and development. This show would have been in better hands if it was HBO |
ErenXSatoru:I watched it in theatres. Although I created a bot on telegram that sends movie files both old and new movies if you type in the name, it'll send the movie file both 720p & 1080p immediately so Zone of Interest might be there. It has almost 400k films. If you need the link, just holla me |
Baddestguyp:To a lot of people it is, to you it isn't, there's a lot of difference. Also, the movie ended the career of 80% of everyone who worked on the movie not just actors but VFX team, storyboarders, the writers. This even impacted the fourth season they were planning |
What I watched this week The Zone of Interest- 8/10 I'm really sure it would win best sound because the whole story relied on the sounds which were so deep. Unfortunately, it would be boring for most people Halloween (1978) - 6/10 When I saw John Carpenter made this movie I decided to give it a watch and it disappointed me. I seriously don't know how this movie became a classic in the first place, maybe it was just a horror movie no one has seen before. Scream (1996) did it way better Migration 8/10 This was a fun movie to watch. A fun time for your kids There Will be Blood- 9/10 I now understand why Daniel Day Lewis makes just a minute amount of movies. His acting just seems so flawless and the pacing of this movie so profound it made me clap when the end credits came up Wish (2/10) One of the biggest pile of dogshit ever produced by Disney. The animation looks like a tv show commercial and the story feels like AI who just started to understand human interactions The Matrix 10/10 - I watched this last when I was 9 and this movie is like a prophecy waiting to be fulfilled. In 1999, the story would have sounded ridiculous but now it seems like a probable event that's about to happen. I enjoyed every minute of this once again Movies to watch this week Ferrari Aquaman and the lost kingdom Alien 1977 Aliens 1986 Cloverfield Texas Chainsaw Massacre |
Baddestguyp:Unfortunately, I can only imagine Dev Patel as Zuko in the worst film of all times Avatar the Last Airbender😂. The fact that he forgot his past and is directing movies is a massive achievement. 97% of the actors in the movie ended their careers right there |
ErenXSatoru:This actually sums up my thoughts on this matter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYvI5CPyMMs?si=GVHw1JvjoLqctkfI |
BlackManta:Ryan Gosling can't win in a category where RDJ and De Niro is |
BlackManta:Like it's just sooooo strange. How does being a blockbuster make you win awards, if that's the case, Avengers Endgame which was definitely wayyyyyy better than most films that came out that year would be nominated, Greta has been nominated before too, she has 3 best picture nominations already- Margot Robbie didn't do even half better than the female actresses in her category. Barbie was not that good, the hype should die down |
Baddestguyp:Nahh, the One Piece effects are perfect - the only reason Avatar's effect seems better is because of the world building and bending which requires a lot of CGI, note that the One Piece budget is actually bigger than this too |
oyaskii:The acting esp was awesome and the story felt so real to me |
abduleez1:Reactions to this has exploded on YouTube, what do you think of the trailer? I felt the acting was subpar |
Biggest Upsets of the Oscars 2024 Nominations 1. How tf is America Ferrera on this list ![]() and Margot Robbie is snubbed, what did that feminist act abeg![]() 2. The Iron Claw is snubbed totally when it actually had the best performances of the year esp from Zac Efron 3. I know this is going too far but that Blackberry guy outperformed everyone on that Actor role except Cillian big problem was it was marketed by Apple 4. Spiderman across the Spider Verse didn't get Original Score Nomination 5. I already knew Fantasia from the Color Purple wasn't going to get nominated. Side Note: I hated that movie 6. BIGGEST SNUBS: I. Greta Gerwig for Director 😪 2. Air as a whole 3. The Iron Claw 4. Blackberry 5. Greta Lee in Past Lives snubbed 6. Leonardo DiCaprio snubbed 7. Rachel McAdams snubbed 8. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles snubbed- wtf is that Robot shit movie?? 9. Suzume snubbed 10. Charles Melton snubbed 11. Saltburn snubbed because of too much d |
abduleez1:Are you serious ??Past Lives Talk to Me Bottoms The Zone of Interest (That's 3 Oscars for Best Picture) Beau is Afraid Priscilla Dream Scenario You Hurt My Feelings Earth Mama All this movies were considered for Oscars throughout last year i.e is 9 out of 17 were bangers which is absolutely rare for studios |
MatthiasChin:I'm biracial and my parents have been married for 23 years without a significant issue |
abduleez1:I wasn't surprised when this movie bombed on its 5th day |
oyaskii:This is a truly honest question. I've been following this issue of how massive racism really is esp in the United States and China. No matter how Africa changes, it won't change racism in the slightest |
oyaskii:This could be Kanye West YouTube page. Why use Premium when you don't download |
en0uwem:How can you tell it's crap when you haven't watched it |
pepemendy:Both are equal masterpieces in their own different universes |
Whizkay:Or maybe understanding English is too tough for you |
Ikillbrokehoes:It's a movie |
Whizkay:Wth are you saying, who said anything about Succession and GOT, I was comparing their pilot episodes and their payoff at the end of their 1st seasons bro |
dimexy247:He should stick to comedy abeg. When I was watching, i was like "bro, do something funny for God's sake 😂, stop making that serious face😂" |
2001: A Space Odyssey This is the greatest science-fiction epic ever made for its time. This is supported by those who claim to understand the complexities involved and leading up the Star Child ending. The others, like myself, find it as absorbing as watching paint dry on woodwork. The musical background is glorious, the colors are dazzling, and there's an interesting use of HAL as a villainous computer. Beyond that, there is nothing the least bit interesting about the human characters (trite dialogue and no personality or warmth to any of the individuals), the pace is unbelievably slow (so the intellectually gifted can philosophize on the mysteries of space), and the payoff at the end leaves you either breathless with enlightenment or convinced that you have watched three hours of nothingness. I had the same letdown feeling when I watched THE CLOCKWORK ORANGE, so your like or dislike of this movie is purely dependent on personal taste. Intellectuals will take the position that you are a mentally challenged clod if you dare disagree with their elevated opinion of the movie--so be aware that this is not conventional story-telling in any sense whatsoever and only for those who admire Stanley Kubrick's way with unlikely cinematic material. The fact that for the 1st 25 minutes no dialogue ensued, just a bunch of chimpanzees crying for bananas or some shit is just crazy 6/10 |
