Penguin2: Thank you for reminding me.
Now, in 2009, what was the value of $2m dollars in naira?
And what is the value of $1.6million dollars in Naira today? i don't think you know what you are saying. Instead of jumping from pillar to post and time traveling to come up with something at last, why not focus on the fact that Sabmiller is not an indigenous company, doesn't have its headquarters in Anambra, and is not the highest revenue or tax generating company in Anambra. Plus it costs times 10 of the new Fun City and they are not in the same line of business. |

Penguin2: How much was used in building the brewery and how much was used to build the Fun City? That was the first thing i mentioned to you. Do some thinking please, this is too lazy. Fun City is 100% state owned at $1.6 million. Anambra State has 10% equity in Sabmiller for $2 million. Fun City barely opened 2 weeks ago. |

Politics › Re: Sabmiller Breweries Not Highest Tax Payer – Anambra Debunks Obi’s Claim by Image123(m): 11:37am On Jul 18, 2025 |
Penguin2: So, are you saying that the Fun City will contribute more to Anambra IGR than Sabmiller with time? No, i don't know the future. Besides, all projects are not the same. The point is that the money used to build the Fun city is less than 10% of the money used to build the brewery. |

Penguin2: Isn’t it interesting that Soludo now has witlow on his mouth and cannot appear on television stations to yap dust about Obi.
I double dare him to appear on Channels or Arise TV to repeat the kind of rubbish he did during the presidential election if he calls himself a man. He should try it and kiss any chance of re-election goodbye.
Now, to Sabmiller…
What Obi said was that Sabmiller is more beneficial to Anambra State than the white elephant Fun City that Soludo built.
What contribution is that Fun City to Anambra State? Don't be ridiculous. Fun City is 100% state owned at $1.6 million. Anambra State has 10% equity in Sabmiller for $2 million. Fun City barely opened 2 weeks ago. Have some shame and decency. |

Make una dey reason small na Errmm, are you in this country? Supreme Court ruled their previous elections invalid, they literally fell apart due to legal invalidation of their election, internal political pressure, and mass resignations necessitating the appointment of a completely new commission to restore legitimacy ahead of the next local government elections. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Erigga Is Asking: What Exactly Are We Going To Do In Heaven? by Image123(m): 3:55am On Jul 16, 2025 |
LordReed: The human mind cannot properly process what an eternity actually means. Our minds have been formed by our inevitable mortality. This idea of living forever is a fantasy than we have dabbled with because it sounds great but doesn't actually tackle how much such a thing will impact our psyches.
Just image if every single human being who has ever lived was in this so called heaven and you met 1 new person every 100 years, by the time you have met every single person once you still won't have entered 0.00000000000000001% of eternity.
I think the whole concept is just wishful thinking from a set of beings that have always despaired about death. The concept negates death yet has no real substance behind it.
Make peace with your mortality, your death will be final. Your mind cannot properly process what an eternity actually means, but you are so definite about the finality of death. It's clear whose despair and thinking about death is wishful here. |

So governance should be at a standstill and he should run everything by himself because you don't agree? BTW, Wike is a professing Christian and wasn't very close to Buhari. How many "Christian" politicians did you see at the burial? Even Osinbande and Amaechi that came were scarce. Most of the rites there limit non muslims and even women in the family. |

immortalcrown: A former president was buried and no president from another country attended the burial? Something is fishy here. Nothing fishy, it's a muslim burial and like you said, a FORMER president. Life goes on. BTW, President of Guinea-Bissau and Niger prime minister were there. Not to mention those who have already sent in condolences from China, India, UK and so on. Many political bigwigs both in the ruling party and opposition have also condoled with the bereaved either physically or otherwise. |
