The post is fine +- 2days from today. It's a relief that we have a president and his team that make mistakes but listen to feedback. Obi's team are either beyond his control or he enjoys the dirty work they do on his behalf. Atiku doesn't really care about his team, same as the late fPMB. But what's the deal with the South East wanting to have a say by force in another person's land. It's unhealthy, respect your hosts. Same thing is happening in Ghana. It's more nauseous when you know that even fellow South Easterners are discriminated against in the SE. Like an Ebonyi person doesn't have a say in Abia or Anambra.

i am not aware of the court refusing to fix a date, i heard from you. i therefore don't know the reason but it's not strange in Nigeria. Many people are going through such in Nigeria.

Let's deal with facts and evidence, not conjectures. Nigerians ride on a lot of myth and belief in politics. Some even believed that fPMB died many years ago and called us insincere for not believing.

The so called court has not been able to fix a hearing date for an unbelievably long period. It is obvious that just like the NASS, the court is also captured by the said god of yours. I am sure you celebrate that as well.

1. The section says nothing about suspension.
2. The NASS did a voice vote - which is impossible to verify as meeting two thirds.
3. The Constitution specifies the only ways in which a governor can cease to hold his office or powers - death, resignation, impeachment, end of tenure and incapacitation.
4. The differnce being made between removal and suspension is a joke because (1) At all events there is no power of removal (2) Suspension is the same thing as a temporary removal for all practical purposes (3) If that argument holds true, he can simply keep renewing the suspension every six months till the end of the tenure and that is the same thing as a removal.

The matter is in court.

The constitution is firmly and clearly against it.

Section 305 grants the President the authority to declare a state of emergency in a state or the federation when there is a clear and present danger to public order, safety, or national security, or significant breakdown of law and order. The declaration must be published in the Federal Gazette and approved by a two-thirds majority of the National Assembly. All these happened. The president has SUSPENDED, not removed the governor. He's exploiting the lacuna in the constitution IMHO. Like i said, the court is to decide.
