Well, he made sure to it that it's constitutionally impossible. It's on this foundation that Nigeria has built for decades and it's near impossible to constitutionally change it now because nobody in government really wants such change. If they want it, they can start the process in the Senate. The Senate is the one that can attempt constitutional review, not agitators. Lobby enough politicians to your cause instead of destroying yourself and boasting to no use or wallowing in self pity and 'victimosity'.
However, i can tell you for free that aside from lip service to give a dog a bone, none of our governors, senators, powerful politicians and very rich men (not unenlightened shop owners o) want a break up. It'll affect them negatively.

How to free a man that has not been convicted but trying his best possible to stretch his court stay. Imagine his lawyer protesting. If they sanction him now, and postpone court hearings to 2028, you'll complain.
