Why not use the effort to sensitise the South East? Kanu should be in prison or dead for all the wrong he has done to the South East. He is of no benefit to the SE neither is he repentant. |

tctrills: Think for a minute here and stop licking the feet of a terrible government. At N100 per meal, that amount would only provide one meal for Nigeria's poor people. So you are clapping for a government that provided a plate of rice in an entire year to the average poor Nigerian. Let's begin to use our brains and apply the primary school maths Uncle John taught us. Note, that there are more than 100 million poor Nigerians. This was a complete waste of money. How much do you suggest to be spent next time? Na so people dey complain and criticize until asked to perform. |

lexy2014: you said the highlighted above and at the same time you say
which government does he have that was horrible? Palliatives is freebies, a form of giving, nothing wrong with giving people. NGOs, religious institutions, philanthropists give, nothing wrong with government giving also, not only collect collect. But it doesn't solve the problems at hand. Ask him what government he has that was horrible. |

ddippset: Surely nothing wrong with sharing palliatives but something could be wrong with palliatives..
1. If a percentage of the money gets diverted to government officials. 2. If the Palliatives are given to the wrong persons, those who don't really need them. 3. If the quantity that gets to people for instance is 2 cups of rice, 1 indomie and 10 cubes of maggi.
All of the above I have seen with my owns very eyes..
Budgeting money for palliatives should be a criminal offence in Nigeria. On this i agree. We need a better method of giving. |
