nigeriens you mean. Some sore losers who cannot think will be here to laugh at Nigeria. Basic primary school geography, they cannot process, but they foolishly think their lamba choice must be the answer or nothing. |
Every other week, people are defecting to APC but when election comes, emergency politicians and their minions will shout rigging. They think winning elections is all about talking about bad things in Nigeria and traveling around the world. |
Funny people, wailers should avoid barking to death like terrorists. This is the same way tax reforms bill will be passed and Tinubu reelected in 2027. Again, avoid barking to death. Learn a vital lesson from the life of Kachalla Dan Lukuti. |
Young people are here criticizing AI development in Nigeria. It's confirmed that we're in big trouble educationally. |
givedemwotowoto:Lolz,, talking about or referring to Obi doesn't mean pain. Why on earth should a loser cause pain? Thankfully, none in my lineage is so foolish or cursed not to see through a mediocre like Obi. They can't even vote him or select him to lead a family or community not to mention a nation. Options plenty dear. |
givedemwotowoto:Lolz, Obi didn't and doesn't have what it takes to rally 6million people. Those 6million voted anti APC and anti muslim muslim. Not many would be that sentimental next time. |
And water. BTW, what is the exact meaning of messing with the North? Is balance messing with the North? Is solving insecurity challenges messing with the North? Is tax reforms to benefit Nigeria messing with the North? Is laughing at losers gather together to cry messing with the North? Anyho, my own dear mission is for a law to be made to shoot at sight any coward that will come out to tell us zobo after any of Nigeria's problems have died. i don't want to hear the real story of June 12 or TheBells or some fancy nonsense after OBJ or Buhari or IBB or even Abdulsalami, Gowon and Atiku dies. They are all alive now everyone is smiling. It's when they die someone will come out to release book or loot. |
SmartPolician:We've approved money for him to be in the cell for the year. No one should deny him that. |
Ojuntana:This your ridiculous tactics of stuffing posts with a lot of lies only shows your motives and desperation. You will only continue to wail, lie and complain. |
Judolisco:Very apt. The money they claim to be saving that will be worth less of its value in years to come. i'm not even against saving, but you can't claim to be saving at the detriment of critical development and infrastructure. They claimed to have EXCESS when we were infrastructurally naked. |
Ojuntana:Lolz, PDP brain no pass to loot resources like they did with crude oil with NOTHING to show. Imagine a Nigerian preferring the country should jettison its only functioning light metro for something else? Why can't your crude mind have the two? Who limited you? Why didn't your lords in PDP build it in 16years or lithium just existed some couple of years ago? He doesn't even know the rot they left in mining, SMH. |
Lots of terrorists on this thread, lamidi has really being frustrated oh, eeyah. Wetin we go do na. Obi should use his release as campaign promise in 2031 maybe. |
Release me from my curse visit wey no fit work. These thieves wrecked our country and built private universities, farms and libraries for themselves while selling off Nigeria to their friends. Dubai metro was built around 2011 and cost less than $8billion dollars. It has been generating more than half a billion USD yearly and will continue to. OBJ was busy saving money using the Obi model in those years. $16 billion swallowed up in electricity scam gate. Dubai mall was built in 2008 and cost $20billion. It has been generating over a billion dollars in revenue every year. It attracts 750,000 visitors every week. OBJ did not have such vision with excess crude. He never thought the millions of Nigerians would need infrastructure. When countries were building, he and his son GEj literally slept and stole, bulilding things for themselves and amassing wealth. Today, they want to rescue Nigeria. Isn't God merciful? |
People like Ojuntana believe this should be jettisioned for Npower programmes, SMH. |
Ojuntana:Use some reasoning please. PDP allowed Nigerians to breed uncontrollably for 16years. That's what poverty and underdevelopment does. Calling it out 16years later on the verge of election loss doesn't absolve you. What did you and your husband do about it for over 6 years? Or you think they have nothing to do? Every party and president that wins election in Nigeria does it with the cooperation of the numbers in the North and the South. That you are too naive to know that is not my fault or APC's. It doesn't remove the fact that our early years that should have been used for foundation building was wasted and looted away. You ned to know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with saving money. One of the major issues with Nigerian economy is the lack of planning and saving for the rainy days. What most of you agbadorian skunks do not know is that in 2008 during the global financial meltdown, Nigeria was not affected because of the savings you keep deriding. While other economies where in recession, Nigeria grew at 8% even with slump in oil price because of the bountiful savings in the ECA and our reserves. Again, APC have been having surplus from budget estimates since 2018. Where is their own savings? Instead they have taxed Nigerians more than any govt in history with nothing to show for it. All the infrastructure they built are from loans which are yet to be fully liquidated till now. Just last week, they introduced toll gates on our roads!! So what exactly is APC using all the money they are getting from taxing Nigerians and excess crude from since Nigeria has remained broke since they took office. Buhari met $2.1bn in ECA. He met NLNG dividend of $2.1bn as well. He increased VAT from 5% which PDP never increased all 16 years to 7.5%. Where is the massive infrastructure from all those revenue? OBJ built ten power plants without borrowing a dime. He even paid off debts instead of borrowing. APC borrowed like no tomorrow yet they can't build just a single power plant in ten years. The upgrade OBJ performed on our transmission infrastructure is what is still in use till today. He upgraded the switches and breakers from the 1970s model without borrowing a dime. Where is the upgrade to 21st century model from APC without borrowing. Nothing. Just looting and looting. An AGF looted over 100bn and is walking free today. There's absolutely nothing wrong with saving money but not at the detriment of vision. Would you have preferred your father to save money instead of educating you or taking care of your family and future? How do you boast of saving money when the world was building and investing? We needed and still need critical infrastructure, you refused to provide. Obasanjo collected $16 billion with the stated intention to increase the nation’s power supply to 10,000MW. Where is it? He was still in court last month over looted $6billion project. We're still in problem with one Sunrise company. It was expected to generate 3,050MW from a hydropower station situated at the Manbilla Plateau, Taraba State, where is it? What was power generation and transmission under him and what is it now?Do you have numbers and facts? Where was the liberational Power Act that should have been foundational but just done 2years ago? What did he do with the foundational PIB? What was access to electricity like under him? What was the population then and now? Where was the vision? https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/EG.ELC.ACCS.ZS?end=2022&locations=NG&start=1998&view=chart You seem to be very low on education. China and Japan in the 50s, 60s and lacked infrastructure. They did not go about building infrastructure. Instead, they empowered their populace to become productive, invested in sovereign bonds all over the world (that's the savings you deride. Today China is USA's biggest creditor) and opened up their country for investments by having ease of business that's second to none. No one can doubt infrastructure plays a role in ease of doing business but the most critical infrastructure is power not roads. OBJ did well with power. APC has been failing and still fails were power is concerned. Only an ignoramus will think countries develop by building infrastructure when the populace are broke and can hardly feed.i wanted to say you were lying blatantly but i clearly saw that you are absolutely ignorant but the internet can help you since your education failed you. Infrastructure is not limited to roads. Examples of infrastructure include transportation systems, communication networks, sewage, water, and school systems. Think of public and private physical structures such as roads, railways, bridges, airports, public transit systems, tunnels, water supply, sewers, electrical grids, and telecommunications, not just roads. Think of modern reforms like the PIB, electricity bill that was just signed in 2023 to allow private and state generate electricity, think of the ongoing tax reforms. These are what should have been laid down for the so called rainy days, not just money that GEJ blew away. What was the top electricity demand in the OBJ years and what is it today? https://www.statista.com/statistics/1306955/electricity-demand-in-nigeria/ Did your economics teacher or even geography teacher not teach you simple steps to becoming a developed country? What's this alarming ignorance you are parading? Where's our tertiary sector, where's secondary sector? We've not even managed primary or agrarian sectors well? Where are the roads, electricity and machinery to manage these basics that you are here lamenting about how government didn't empower you. Anyway, it's not your fault, it's the quality of education that OBJ afforded and availed for you. |
What exactly is our business oh? |
Ojuntana:A needless and headless digression if i may say. Patience Jonathan made a wrong political move out of desperation, seeing that the North didn't like her or her husband and she was been made jest of over Chibok and other blunders(especially grammar). You and your husband have been president for about 6years and you are complaining about born throway at the last minute when you know they are going to vote en masse against you. Such naivety. What did they do about education? Where was national orientation? Where was ministry of education? Don't you know basic economics and politics that poor and uneducated people breed in larger numbers? You did nothing about their poverty and education but allowed the vices to fester, and you're talking of some rubbish almajiri school. In what developed nation did you see such a model to employ? The North needs holistic educational solution, not special schools and special cut offs. I'm glad, you're taking up this argument of infrastructure all over again. But unfortunately for you, you're wide off the mark. Where's ECA today. APC have spent 10 years now. Where's the $8bn rails they've built or the $20bn mall they are building? They are even building $2bn rail to the desert from loans!!You're making a boast about saving billions of dollars, and i am asking why you did not invest those billions in foundational infrastructure. That is the point. All the twisting and turning about APC or ECA is meaningless. If you had enough vision to build infrastructure instead of saving in the bank like Obi and looting away in the name of subsidies, the next government would not have to borrow to build the critical and needed infrastructure that should have been built decades earlier. You had EXCESS, you named it excess, you had tens of billions of dollars saved. Why did you save it? Did you not see the world building? Were you blind to see the dearth of infrastructures? Where was the vision? The only vision was amassing private wealth, building private farms, libraries and universities for themselves. Where was the billions of dollars to build roads, give electricity to the nation, and other basic amenities? Nothing. You left the country sitting on a keg of gun powder that blew up in Buhari's face, and you expect me to face Buhari like i was born yesterday? What infrastructure did you build when naira was so close to dollar and we had enough to subsidise it? Let's even look at the modest infrastructure that APC have built since 2015, that is Lagos-Ibadan rail and some roads. Can you quantify how much they have helped to improve the economy? You need basic study of secondary school economics or business study. You would not be asking me such silly questions. Which of the countries that you mention lack basic infrastructure? Which one is struggling with electricity, or water, or roads, or data? Not to mention basic call network or internet, world class education, and health. You think they became secure and robust by subsidizing to ease cost of business? What ignorance is this? |
casualobserver: Politics really messed up their thinking. |
Kemetian:Very well |
Ojuntana:Ignoramuses are here hysterical about a country's gross domestic product (GDP) by its population. Maybe you can have some more joy if you considered the figures in naira and the population difference. You left people breeding like rats with no development to show for it and suddenly expect magic after FX subsidies were removed? Dubai metro was built around 2011 and cost less than $8billion dollars. It has been generating more than half a billion USD yearly and will continue to. OBJ was busy saving money using the Obi model in those years. Rubbish. $16 billion swallowed up in electricity scam gate. Dubai mall was built in 2008 and cost $20billion. It has been generating over a billion dollars in revenue every year. It attracts 750,000 visitors every week. Your lord OBJ did not have such vision with excess crude. He never thought the millions of Nigerians would need infrastructure. When countries were building, he and his son GEj literally slept and stole bulilding things for themselves and amassing wealth. And you have mouth to talk nonsense? |
Kemetian:Must you refuse correction? |
E go pain them. Why? Witchcraft, that's why. You don't make these things up. Start working hard and stop complaining or begging. Go to your village or where you can get land and farm. Farmers are making serious millions. You sit down in Lagos and state capitals begging and insulting Tinubu, are you cursed with laziness?
|
Na only Pastor Chris dey correct na. Sebi he's correct about his divorce, TB Joshua, masturbation, Covid and co. Nobody should disturb us oh. |
It's not an answer to Dubai and cannot be, Dubai never asked any question BTW. It's a needless comparison, howbeit a very good development. There are hundreds of great and beautiful cities all over the world. They are all unique in their own way, and none is claiming competition or answer to Dubai. Even Abu Dhabi the capital of UAE is not claiming answer to Dubai. |
Decidetolive:Clearly, those are places where you can live your fantasies or are you scared to shoot people in the head again for not supporting your serial failure? |
Ojuntana:People are opening bank accounts. Security is much better, same for infrastructure, electricity, foreign relations, investor confidence, salary, debt and pension obligations, public and private organization revenues and staggering profits. Of course, all that doesn't matter to you as your life apparently revolves around the price of a bag of rice. i can't shout, 2027 beckons.
|
ValarDoharis:Okay. |
Decidetolive:Sore loser, Nigeria is a democracy. Apply for visa to Afghanistan or Yemen where you can live your fantasy. |
Hmmm, how do you report scrapped for something being considered? Our reporters and journalists are apparently very poorly educated and lacking in basic comprehension. |
Or unite to lose terribly. Tinubu's got the whole country on a catch 22 regardless of performance. Then he's now doing well and will do multiple times better before election, then opposition is in utter disarray of biblical proportions. Say it's gone. |
Cmanforall:Okay |
Cmanforall:Oh, you're not in civil service but complaining more than the "bereaved". Civil servants don't know the benefit they get by retiring at the age of 60, you meant to say? |
