$6 Billion flushed down the toilet all to prop up the Naira when that same amount, invested directly into boosting production, industry and infrastructure could do so much more wonders? shocked

If we don't go into full time production and reduce our importation level, it's only a matter of time, the naira would fall again...
It won't fall like the so called speculators made it fall like the walls of Jericho. The naira is currently undervalued and needs to discover its real value. The CBN is doing a good job with the catalyst method. Genius.

Just imagine the depletion of the foreign reserves of this nation by these crooks in government. Using it to criminally subsidize fuel and the dollar. Hehehe! I laugh. The lean reserve is being used to sustain the forex. It will still plung, down, depreciate and then worsen some more.
So it is now criminal to subsidize. These guys are clowns.

So what is pos doing?
It depends. POS is not supposed to be a business, but a point of service. Sometimes a business, sometimes a "point of service".

If selling naira is a crime
What is pos doing
POS is not supposed to be a business, but a point of service. It's supposed to be used by shops and businesses for cashless payments. It's now taken over because many people don't have access to ATMs and even banks. It's not the norm but a permission because our bank services failed.

Nobody would fully know what the future would have held peradventure Peter Obi became the president or if things would have been better for Nigeria at large

What is happening in Abia State under Alex Otti is a product of his own personal virtues and values not LP, as there are other LP house of reps people that have even ported to other parties and not doing much

The question would still remain would Peter Obi have kept to his word about integrity and his love for the progress of Nigeria had he become president
We know his emptiness, we saw him in Anambra for 8 years. It was impossible for him to win, so we should not even bother thinking what would never have been.

I hope thats true. Nothing about this country os proactive. Pimples turn to boils them full blown cancer before we start administering treatment.
cheesy cheesy That's true. This one though can't succeed for many reasons. The Yorubas are in power for most likely the next 7/8 years. Most Yorubas don't see a reason to back out of the Nigerian project. Yorubas generally will not back up "criminality"(anything against the law), unlike what happened in the North and East where the elites and elders silently and secretly agree with the ideologies. In the SWest, the yoruba nation ideology is mainly supported by urchins and some few aggrieved and largely powerless people. It only gained traction during the Buhari administration because of Fulani herdsman issues and impunity.

They said they saw N170million so they prefer to collect the 170million or some part of it and drop the money laundering charge. Why do you think politicians have the audacity to steal billions? They can simply do a plea bargain and walk.
That's beyond what i plan to discuss on the thread, thanks.

So is the EFCC setup to make deals with suspected criminals?
In law, it's called a plea bargain. A plea bargain, also known as “negotiating a plea,” is an agreement between the prosecution and the defendant where the defendant agrees to plead guilty to the charges against them.

DMerciful:
You don't know that. N170 million is small money for a celebrity like him
Unfortunately for him, he could not explain like you to the EFCC.

https://www.channelstv.com/2024/04/05/bobrisky-arraigned-pleads-guilty-to-naira-abuse/

The EFCC had filed a 6 count charge against Bobrisky. The first 4 counts of the charge bordered on abuse of the Naira while the last two counts border on alleged money laundering.

But before the charge was read to the defendant, the EFCC prosecutor, Sulaiman asked the court to strike out counts five and six.

He said, “We have an agreement with the defendant which will lead us to withdraw counts 5 and 6. In the circumstance, we’re humbly urging the court to strike out counts 5 and 6, leaving counts 1 to 4 alive”.

When the registrar asked if he understood the charge that was read to him, he said, ” Yes, I am guilty”.

NOTE THAT for money laundering, punishment is imprisonment for a term of not less than four years but not more than fourteen years or a fine not less than five times the value of the proceeds of the crime or both.

There are over 100m Muslims in China and even if I am wrong on that, what about Saudi Arabia ?
Even if you are wrong? You are wrong brother. There are more muslims in Nigeria than China. i was actually trying to talk about the percentage though. i edited my message almost immediate, probably you did not see it.
Noneteless, what it means is that there's NO Christian basis or justification to support either of the countries against the other. Christians are more hated and persecuted in Israel than in Palestine. There are ten times MORE muslims in Israel than christians.
Nothing wrong with praying for the peace of Israel but nothing wrong praying for the peace of other countries as well.
