I feel for this comment . I pray the bigotry on Nairaland don’t translate to real life if not the whole Lagos will be hot for Igbos. We still have some sensible ones but the chest beaters amongst them are terrible how can you call someone ancestral home a no mans land that’s the height of disrespect.

I told one chest beater some days ago that It just takes one law from Lagos State government to reclaim all the land sold to non indigene he was capping nonsense.
What’s happening now ain’t the real owners not showing they can do anything with their land ?
one of my friends is helping one ibo guy. My guy gave him a free room in his family house and we all like this guy. We cook and eat together like brothers. So I don't know why ipobs hate d yorubas. D hate is to much. These poor ipobs should allow the rich and business minded ibos to live peacefully in Lagos. No rich ibos will like problem in Lagos.

The picture is as real as Tinubu's dementia, if you decide to act like an animal, then you get treated as one.

4 Igbo traders injured, 1 Tinubu miscreant dead and 4 seriously injured...the scores are even, Alaba is now calm.
I bet if u get business in Lagos, u will not be inciting ibos against d yorubas in Lagos. Your common sense should tell u ibos will have 85% casualty if trouble starts in Lagos. Nah poor ibos they wish problem fr Lagos

I was disgusted with the kind comments I read from guys on Twitter and even here on Nairaland when the incident was still fresh.

Most of them of the opinion that the police should release Chioma cos she beautiful, some said they shouldn't allow her beauty to waste in jail...so many annoying comments like that forgetting that she murdered someone who has a family in cold blood.

Clearly someone or some people at the top with this same mentality don't want this girl to go to jail hence the unnecessary delay in the case.
So u never know there guys that behave like kid. They have detergent in their brain

I am not your mate in any way. I have been in politics long before you were born. What Ogbonnaya Onu said is what we already know. He said it in front of Tinubu, Osibanjo and all APC governors and delegates and not one single person countered it. If Tinubu whom you support never countered Ogbonnaya Onu, I wonder who you are.

By the way I have long been in Politics, I was a PA to my uncle who was a Local Government Chairman during the days of Abacha. Abacha was supposed to have a meeting with all LG chairmen across the country on the day of his demise. I was present in that meeting so am not your mate. In age and politics.

Who published the news to generate public awareness and reactions? Amanpour and CNN. When you put such news to the public, you already call for divergent reactions, some will condemn and some will commend.

I think she knew this before publishing and she know what she will gain doing that.

It's not our problem, we are not Iranian or Amanpour family.
So as a media organization, to you they should not put it public. Why will they to put it public when they did not commit any crime. Tell us what they will gain from it. You only selfish reasons for going against her and CNN. She did not say she will not wear ijab if d interview takes place in Iran. Is very ridiculous for someone like you surpporting an enforcement of another law in United state. For your life, do u even pray make u travel go iran. U hate united state of America but u wish to go their. Thus is d highest level of hypocrisy. Religion have blocked your sense of reasoning right. Emancipate yourself from this religious slavery. Asuming someone comes to your home and start dictating how u should live your life. How will u feel. Make u put yourself in people's shoes b4 judging others.

I swear u be idiot. Why will u be forcing someone else in another country to wear ijab. If u want to be slave to d Arabs. Go there nah. Is this not is causing bloody protest in Iran. Many Iranian have removed d ijab and here in US soil, u want to dictate someone else dressing code. You should be out of your mind

Why schedule an interview with him when you know you won't put on a scarf? To score cheap political point or what? Just listen to the woman's defence? Talking as if the man forced her to wear a scarf.

Don't know why this crazy people derive some kind of joy in tarnishing the image of Islam and Muslims in general. Must you interview him without a scarf? If he isn't going to be comfortable with you interviewing him with your hair opened, why persist in the first place?

I don't know what hijab did to some people. Is just a piece of cloth. Doesn't bite anybody. So why the noise about something that you won't wear and nobody is forcing you to wear it
are u human at all? Or u find it difficult to understand the post. Why will u dictate dressing code to someone in someone else soul. Abi u are out of your mind.

Just another plot to put the iranian in a bad light to the world. But the Iranian president is no coward like our African leaders that licks the feet of the Europeans.

Amanpour knows the iranian president so well, she knows he will never accept to that, so why schedule an interview with him when you know you can't dress according to the president's religious doctrine.

It was definitely planned either for clout-chasing, cheap attention seeking, or portraying the already battered image of the iranian president or iranians in general in a bad way right in the face of the world.

Thank God, Jesus wasnt around this time. This present day propaganda dishing set of medias would have made us believe he is bad just because he wont do to their bidding.

I think CNN, BBC and other european maintstream media are the problem of this world.

Modified : For everyone quoting me and coming right at me. We Nigerians are just usually unnecessarily emotional about religious sentimentalism. We are blind by religious sentiment, it doesnt even matter even if we are to be packed like chickens inside a single bus, or be reffer to as a third-world country. As far as our colonizers are christians, and we are too.. We dont give a damn about what they do to us and how they treat us.

For goodness sake, can't you see behind your religion blindness that this was planned by CNN and Amanpour incojunction with the US to put the iranian president in a bad light in the face of the world.? You guys dont know how dirty foreign politics can get. You think it is by peter obi vs tinubu type of gbas gbos Nigeria childish politics we play here. Foreign Politics is filthy, they will always tend to want to bring you down in one way or the other.

He knows their plan.. He stood his ground, he is not a coward like our african leaders that can be bully into submission. He should get a statue, he is a man after my heart, just next to vladmir Putin.
u are an idiot and slave to d Arab. Is the interview be taken in Iranian soil. This is US soil and an outsider is trying to dictate her dressing code. Why are u like this. Must u put religion on your head.

How can someone lie that a house is 11 years old when he knows neighbors and friends can counter him. He said house was built before their father died. The so called relationship can't be as old as that unless there's another house somewhere else.
Who forced him to convert to Islam? He wanted acceptance at all cost.
do u know any of their neighbors that has come out to counter it. You don't expect any of her family to come out and talk against d family. For a Chinese man to have converted to Islam, imagine what he have done for d family of d dead lady. When they were collecting money from the Chinese man, they did not realize they don't share d same belief. But until d Chinese proposed to marry they now see he is having different belief. Always read before commenting
1. The house is a family house built by their father in 2011, she met Chinko last year so house wasn't bought by Chinko.
2. There's no car in their house, she doesn't own a car.
3. She is alleged to have been sponsored in a University abroad but she is a student at Sokoto and has never been out of Nigeria.
They admitted she collected gifts and money which is almost a normal thing in relationahips.
Sebi u are making comments based on what u read here. Do u live with them to know if d Chinese man bought a house or not. D man converted to Islam because of d lady. Do u know the meaning of this at all? Before coming here to post what is not.
