You're right. This is where religion can't escape being the problem. Families are shapen by cultural values & norms which is often upheld by the elderly in the family as ascribe in the Africa religion. But today, The advent of westernization via religion has scattered that. This is the reason you now see some jokers, idiots, rapist, criminals, murderers, scammers parading themselves as "spiritual father's". Deceiving the gullible & redefining human values & norms to be money.

An example of my claim, many years ago. I was at Benin Republic. I noticed very countable number of churches. Yet the people had a certain unified mindset still tied to their Africa religion, no stealing, etc. I also got to know, that if your item dropped on the ground without your knowing. Just simply retrace your steps & you will find it there. But if you couldn't find it. Know that a Nigerian had passed by.
