Jeezuzpick:I salute you. You did well. I commend you. God bless and keep you. Please kindly use your story to inspire young people around you. Sadly many young people don't have good role models and some may not believe someone can be like you. Thanks |
In 2009 when Bill Gates came to Nigeria, he visited one of the northern states I worked in then. Riches must transcend paper money to wealth creation and legacies. Rich people should live as stewards of their wealth knowing that they are blessed to be blessings. Silver and gold belong to God and the hearts of kings are in the hands of God |
Hmmm... i still support purity of the body and mind. Abstain from sex till you marry Stay faithful inside marriage If you don't marry stay away from sex and pray to God for grace, even married people don't have sex as regularly as they'd have wanted sometimes because of work, children, sickness, age or other genuine reasons. Note: you reading this, if you're still a virgin hold yourself till marriage and marry well and right. Don't keep yourself for a public boy/man or girl/woman. Don't waste your delayed gratification by throwing your pearls on swine. Sex can be an addiction and the best way to beat an addiction is not to enter it at all, until it's the right time, dont enter sexual pattern. In addition even if you're already sexually active you can come out and stay chaste till you marry. If you're in an adulterous relationship, cut it off, repent and seek restitution with your spouse while prayingbto God for mercy and forgiveness to create in you a new heart and renew a right spirit within you. Keep your mind free, safe and clean from porn, unnatural sex and profane media and reading materials. You'd be fine, trust me, God has it under control - granting you discipline! |

I hope no lives were lost? Somethings have been too reoccurring since I knew Nigeria 1. Fuel queues and scarcity 2. Up NEPA no light 3. Fuel tankers falling and people scooping fuel 4. Buildings collapse in parts of Lagos especially 5. People crossing Ilela enroute Libya and Morocco 6. Politicians badmouthing the ones in power/on seat and getting there and doing the same and worse most times 7. ASUU strike, calling off with nothing achieved 8. EFCC/Police catching corrupt politicians and the cases go to voice mail with no prosecution or refund 9. Fake miracles by fake pastors deceiving the gullible with the same antics 10.......add yours |
just coming online to The only thing I want to beg the mod is that they correct the false spelling of false on the topic |
Coldspice:I'm not from Asaba or even from that part of Nigeria, but it's distasteful and disrespect of you to say a monarch was deaf and dumb, so uncouth. You can't even say that about your family head not to talk of the head of a people and the place that hosts a state's capital. Mind you this Asagba is new on the throne and is bringing his innovations and ideas. Then to extend it to other tribes from the Niger Delta? I pray for your healing. Anyway I'm done having this back and forth with you or your kit and kin |
Coldspice:But you've said it all? This question you're asking why didn't you ask it when the Ogoni 13 were finally given justice? Why didn't you ask that when GEJ was there as a former Rivers State indigene why didn't he do it. But it has been done, the Ogoni 13 have been given their pride in the annals of history and their honour restored in their struggle for their people, which is 100% well deserved. So if the Asaba people are asking now under this new government how does that matter? Did you ask Buhari why he didn't remove fuel subsidy? But has it not been done? What's the matter here? Or you no like Asaba people? |
Someone must take the blame and responsibility for what happened in Asaba. It should not be swept under the carpet. I appreciate how the posterity and legacies of the Ogoni 13 was put right after so many years, so also this issue of Asaba massacre. History when taught in schools must do justice to what happened in Asaba and reveal the truth. |
Copied from FB CLEARED BY THE ARMY OF ANY WRONG DOING AND FREED I just saw this recent update about this story. It was Mark Twain, the famous American writer who said, "a lie can travel halfway across the world, while the truth is putting on its shoes." Nowhere is this more applicable than in today's social media age where once lies are concocted, they are given wings to fly. I started reading about the news on social media of how this Plateau girl from Mangu, in a murderous rampage, doused her husband in petrol while he was sleeping . Quite a pathetic, vile, wicked and vindictive thing to do if true. Yet, I cautioned we not jump into judgement without hearing the whole story. But the embers of lies of social media once concocted and fanned and gone viral, was unstoppable. Many started throwing the first stone on this lady without knowing the truth except what they heard online. As a citizen journalist, I went into doing my due diligence to uncover the truth of the story. Indeed the lady is from Jos and the marriage happend as reported in Jos. Many in Jos who participated in the wedding, still have fresh memories of the good times from the wedding full of ostentatious display of wealth and privilege and happiness. All that had been reported on social media from the story gone viral, I found out was true except a key fact: the report that the lady doused her husband with petrol while he was sleeping in a murderous jealous rampage over a message she discovered on her husband's phone from another lady. What I was able to uncover through interview with her immediate family here in Jos, is that the bride is home and cleared of any wrong doings by the army. To the contrary of her killing her husband, the narrative is one where she was the one repeatedly victimized and constantly beaten by the husband and on one occasion, lost a pregnancy she carried. The fateful occasion where she was portrayed as the murderer, was infact the husband who threatened to set her ablaze. Repeated acts of domestic violence against the wife was much documented before the Army who knows the case well. The Army ruled the incident an accident according to the family due to the negligence of the husband playing with petrol and a light burner while threatening his wife. The light burner he was using with petrol to make threats mistakenly caught fire and engulfed him. He was stabilized in the hospital and made statements in the hospital bed that were key to exonerating (claring his wife) as the person who poured fuel on him. The lady is free and home and this is a fact that can be independently verified by all. Many might know her family. It's quite unfortunate many just copied and pasted the wrong story about this lady without fact checking. (PTB) PLATEAU THE BEAUTIFUL **** So all this happened inside marriage of six months? Hmmmmm. Parents let's guide our children on the right path to avoid stories dt touch the heart Copied |
Wealthoptulent:Be reminded that VP Osinbanjo used to wear dark coloured clothes too most times. Note that Obi wears other colours. Note that when going for condolence it's good to wear sober colours. Note that the cause of your problem as someone who's living in Nigeria (epileptic light, increase in fuel, increase in price of gas, non availability of kerosene, high cost of firewood and coal, high cost of foodstuff, high cost of school fees at all levels including nursery, bad roads, insecurity, increase in kidnapping, and so much more) are those presently in government and who were in government in the past 10 years Not the man and those well meaning people who visit those who are grieving the death of a 29 year old child with a bright and promising future. RIP to Sommie and those who died deaths that were preventable in Nigeria if there'd been good governance in the most recent times (May they also rest in peace those who died in the time of military rule or colonial rule or during the war - whose conditions were beyond the control of those who are now saying that they were voted for). |
But these politicians suppose get advisers nah |
Samai09:Yes thanks.its the only I've found |

![]() Wish them happy married life. I'm not a member of this church so I don't think it's proper to analyse their doctrines and internal affairs. Na family affair. What is important is spending eternity in God's Kingdom and fulfilling our God given destiny in this life |
Long waited But Hidi Sirika's own for air Nigeria has not had any head way so far oh Na initial gra gra |
So people take El Rufai's positions seriously? Even if he says my hometown must produce secretary general of the U.N. I can't support his positions I pray for his redemption and that of his family They talk about bandits when it favours their immediate positions |
I do And I still play it |
I tell people that there is a difference between being alone and being lonely. Sadly some experience it the hard way. When you have many people around you and you become needy and then you can hear pin drop due to the silence of their absence, then you'd know you just had beer buddies, gossip partners, business partners and sadly parasites. I pray that whether you're travelling or in your comfort zone, may you have helpers and be a helper, this I pray for myself also, amen |
Eeee yah Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz now I know ... number of characters needed met ![]() |
Na wah Slammed her with apology on 2 dailies and on and on with dated effects but no effective date for the Senate to reinstate her. Will her salaries be reinstated? Will they apologise to her? Will they pay for contempt of court? They suspended her even when she had gone to court, the Court did not address that issue, shame! So after she apologises within the 7 days and the Senate refuses to recall her they go tell her ntoooyi!!! |
The last report I read last night before I slept and I told a friend and she said she knows the guy. But I think she thought he is a judge in Delta because of the name Umukoro. Since he's in Bayelsa I doubt if it's the same person she told me about since she stays and comes from Delta. Gunmen few hours ago kidnapped our own High Court Judge, Justice E. G. Umokoro. He was kidnapped in front of a popular eatery known as Kilimanjaro, Ekeki, at about 7 pm. Let us pray for his safe return.I pray for his safe rescue. That means the judiciary should be weary |
Proverbs 18:24 "A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother". Proverbs 27:17 notes that "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another," Proverbs 13:20? Whoever walks with wise people will be wise, but whoever associates with fools will suffer Have you noticed some people change friends when they marry? Some drop their single, divorced or those they may perceive can threaten their marriage. Some want friends whose children can relate with their own. Some want friends they can entrust their families to when not around or available, or when they are in need and need some privacy to cover shame and judgment. Jesus said He no longer calls us servants but friends. Friendship is a strong relationship. If Jesus the Saviour of the world can be a friend, why can't a man be a friend to his wife or a wife be a friend to her husband? Or even with their children? So as a man if you play football with their 4 year old or 4 year old it is demeaning? Or as a woman if you play lido with your young girls it's disrespectful? Or as a man if you loosen your wife's braids while you na dey gist see finish go enter? Or as a woman if you follow your husband take play table tennis something go happen? @Ablaf, good write-up you shared here, thanks |
Today in church we were taught that your receiving the body and blood of Christ makes you Christ. Your identity is Christ Jesus. If you carry Jesus in your inside, your outward look must reflect and tally with what you carry inside. It's a no brainer, nothing to argue, closed topic, non-issue THAT males and females, men and women, boys and girls, toddlers and babies should be gorgeously, decently and honourably adorned and dressed. Your apparel must reflect who you are - a co-heir with Christ Jesus Who is the Prince of Peace, King of kings. As a royal priesthood, embrace your identity as a priest and royalty and dress well. I don tire to dey correct people wey dey dishonour their temple dey dress any how, na your identity you dey showcase - insane, promiscuous, wild, Goethe, demonic, repulsive, vulgar, indecent or gullible to trends. But you can choose to be a child of God and dress as it pleases God Your Father, your choice. |
Ok He has his rights and preferences but the rest of us will also exercise our choice when the opportunities arise. While I can't travel with Peace Mass Transit, Sen. Oshio can't travel with Air Peace But their businesses continue |
