![]() Strange men and strange party Before this man's election those same 14 lawmakers were sitting in one of his properties as a parallel legislative body to those who had resumed since 2019. Even the so called house of assembly is non existent, has no location, passes no bills, nor holds any public hearing My dear which ever state you are just thank God, the other states you think are sane are all failed don't be moved by the glossy photo ops, edited pictures, doctored videos and media hype. There's no functional state, I'm sorry to say. Ive been to over 23 Nigerian states. Edo is not my state of origin nor is Lagos, Kaduna, Ebonyi or Rivers or all the others which have been in the news for one reason or the other. It's sad that we don't have a reference state. What would it take? Reference in terms of prompt salary payment, security, healthy environment, peace, moral sanity, functional health and educational institutions, good roads, public water, street lights, regular lightsas a result of good electrical installations, market with regulated prices, restful and not restive youths, religious harmony, limited party agitation and modern like 22nd century infrastructural development... may be these are too much for them, for a WHOLE 8 years ![]() |
Will it be a strange thing to vote Moghalu? Nigerians once voted for an Abiola who was neither their kinsman nor religious brother For those of us who experienced Buhari as military head of state We were ready to vote for even an Obasanjo for a 15th term and that says a lot. When I was on the line to vote in 2019 I was so shocked when the lady in front of me said she's re-voting for Buhari because the devil you know... she said Atiku na thief. But there were several others on the list. I voted neither for Buhari nor Atiku because I believed in positive change, not Politician's change. I voted for a man I hoped will bring positive changes to Nigeria. I'm Nigerian not by my doing. God deemed it fit to birth me in this amalgamated entity. God is all knowing. Many have changed citizenship and many others have left permanently. But I'm here so I must do my best till... To everyone who voted for Buhari in 2015 and 2019 and have no regrets, please take out time, go on a retreat, ponder objectively and project yourself to May 28th 2023 and ask yourself how will it be? How would this regime, administration and tenure go down in history? I blame myself, because I made mouth that if Buhari wins I'll leave the country. I told all those who were too young to have known about Buhari, I told those older than me who were moved by propaganda and media hype, I told those who said it's just 4 or 8 years, I told them all. But I'm still here cause I've a family who won't leave the country. I've responsibilities and investments. Finally I've faith that this country would be good one day soon, in my life time and people will return to it and take it even further. But the concept of one Nigeria, right now I don't believe in it. I don't speak it or play blind loyalty and patriotism God please help us don't let us go the way of destruction or damnation. I know this is not our home but help us, in Jesus name, amen |

![]() It took the death of a brilliant, determined, young job seeker to reveal the mess going on among idle minded youths like Akpan just in his twenties and the old politicians and those in the top echelon of power. For some of them it's for sports, fun and for hedonistic pleasure. For others it's for rituals and other occultic gains. I remember reading about boys used by Saraki erstwhile for elections who ran amok and raided in Offa, What happened to them and their influential backers? One eventually died and the rest are languishing in prison. Then I heard about a family popularly referred to as Afro in Benin who where behind the killing of a lawyer and burying him in a shallow grave. I do recall that on visit to the site other graves where discovered. #ENDSARS happened, prison break occurred and those culprits escaped. Now where is the justice? Sadly here in Uyo it's another case of revelations of crimes of old. Other graves have been found. Evil atrocities have come to bear. Now there are threats and counter banters. But how will it end? Will Akpabio use his office to help the victim's family get justice or will he be solely interested in his name and image? Will this be another cold case? Will the puppet be killed to silence him? Will there be an escape from prison? Will his cohorts go on a protest to release him based on human rights since his is not a bailable offence? This is not Criminal Minds,Mentalist, Law and Order or CSI, friends this is real life Our own here in Nigeria Evil is parading the land and our weapons against them can never be carnal, legalistic, street sense, guns or roses, vigils or ornaments, stickers or beads, charms or amulets or even escaping to another country... Believe me you, believe you me, the only solution is in God, in Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit. I rest my case, I know who I am, I know where I stay, I know who I don't know or how much I don't have |
As the country is already hard and amidst worsening securities. My heart goes out to the woman May she be healed and get justice |
DesignAndBuild:You are right What would Jesus say, preach and stand for? He protected the adulterous woman but never condoned her sin. We must draw the line on what is right is right even if most people are angry about it And What is wrong is wrong even most people support it or do it Even if someone is a product of such relationship you can stand against it without hating or disrespecting your parents. My elder brother who smoked at the time, used to tell me not to smoke. In God's grace and wisdom over my life, I never questioned him saying, what of you are you not smoking? Instead I took the advice and I've never smoked anything with my blessed mouth and lips Not Pipe, cigarette, weed, cigar, vapp or shisha And by the will of God I shall never. I don't condemn my brother nor others who smoke So also I don't condemn people and their beautiful babies born in such circumstances But I can not support it. If you want the degree, study and do the course If you want the house work and buy or build If you want the babies get married and give them a home with father and mother and security and assurance and dignity and peace |
This is too sad I feel so sad for the elephant population generally in the world. In eastern Africa it's their tusks that are hunted for In Nigeria and our neighbours it's the meat and prestige Sad Please let's support preservation of elephants and rare species- dolphins, whales, tortoise and even lion Modified: But not snakes kill them allAlthough I noticed that since I curtailed the issue of snakes in my compound rats have increased now there is a rat issue. Not just rat but bush rat- fat and fast They compete with my goats for their food How do I go about it? Please don't suggest cats or dogs, they can't cohabit with the things we have in the compound. Please anyone with suggestions in curtailing rats should please help We don't have plenty bushes but the plants we have and small bush serves as their hood thanks |
I pray the ball does not harm to your compound. I grew up in face me I face you blocks of flat and I stayed in high rising hostels in my school days, I know the problem of throwing things and kicking things all in the name of exercising my own liberty and freedom at the expense of others around.Let them be aware of their responsibilities and consequences of their actions |
We are I am with you in prayers You will live You will overcome You will be 100% healthy There is a balm in Gilead By Jesus' stripes you are healed Beloved I wish above all things that you prosper in health even as your soul prospers |

Yes For the guy above me dont make a mockery of the call of pastorship (shepherding) There are fake pastors just as they are fake lawyers, doctors, teachers and mechanics Ednut you won't tell a man to rub grease on his hands and overall, hold spanner and screwdriver, park a few old cars with open bonnet then boom he don hammer? Please respect the Christian leadership, terms and faith I won't say so about another religion Counselling is a fantastic career op, go for it, but you need emotional strength, maturity and thick skin You will hear things and you must be wise to direct the person aright God help us |

PlayMaker14: ![]() No its not Jigawa it's Dutse and Gongola It looks really long Of all the things bothering Nigeria, the mods always seem to push snake stories to the front Maybe it's to divert attention, ease tension and ... |
gowonmaharajah:It's a good question And what is worse, these people will fight and troll anyone/foreigner who tries to also badmouth Nigeria. Words have power, the Americans keep saying God's own country, big brother, greatest in the world and the likes Whereas there are numerous countries, some small, some bigger that the US which are by far better People die daily from gun violence, accidents, hate crimes, assassinations, sicknesses and the likes but they don't blow it in the news. But Nigerians we concentrate so much on our weaknesses. As an aside. Let me use my experience. I was to attend a wedding but I'd other rough places I needed to go to before the wedding. I'd to dress down a little. Worse my shoe spoilt as I stepped out of the car. I'd to use my casual slippers in the car. Do you know my Co invitees ignored from top to ankle and focused down at my footwear. I laughed. I said humans! We won't appreciate the good side and things in order but would look for little errors, issues or setbacks and blow it up out of proportion. That's why if I'm conversing with someone- words or chats I ignore errors in the language as long as there is communication. It helps to keep the flow and respect people instead of belittling or embarrassing them "unnecessarily." But a few people will leave the substance of the discussion and focus on the undotted "i" and uncrossed "t" Now back to NTA, NTA in focusing on these festivals and ancient programmes is making a little attempt to keep the country patriotic, sane and 'limited.' Patriotic- many of us won't have known of the fishing activities in Borno if not for the festival feature on NTA Sane- too much bad news and political tension can cause emotional and psychological insanity, lead to paranoia and depression Limited- NTA limits it's audience to only the government's perspective and good side. They don't do all round broadcasting and don't thrive for competition in getting licenses to air sports, music, political debates, competitions or entertaining programmes or sitcoms that draw people and families to the TV. NTA like America is helping to polish the image of Nigeria, whitewash it, apply make up, portray a fake, deceitful, lying situation of Nigeria and save the face of government |
Kestolove: ![]() I've not subscribed for a while cause my movements are unpredictable, I can travel any time so the sub doesn't waste, and I do more of Internet streaming, YouTube and watch movies from friends and family. But I can't forget or diss NTA Many pre-indomie generation people like me had only NTA and our state's channel to help us. We learnt a lot from NTA and enjoyed great entertainment. It's just a pity many things are retrogressing. But by the power of the words of mouth, I ask life, effectiveness, efficiency and productivity to come upon NTA and in fact Nigeria as a whole, in Jesus name, amen |
![]() Happy birthday sir I won't forget in a hurry the lovely time I had at Jogor centre at Mount Zion Movies all night programme I was happy to greet him and his wife God bless you sir and your family and your company and ministry in Jesus name, amen Movies and music go a long way, thats why I feel sorry for contemporary musicians and filmmakers who are making terrible products, posterity will tell. To imagine I watched aro meta in a state far away from the West in the 90s as one of the first indigenous Christian movies produced! Hah oga Mike you try, you and your crew God bless you all |
No sir they will only select and give you to endorse. Please which state do you know that they have fair local government polls? Most states have sweeping results at the polls How can all LGAs just vote the same party the governor belongs to What kind of coincidence is that See Kano with over 40 LGAs... all APC or Enugu all PDP |
Congratulations to the trio This is very good news I celebrate with the families My lovely Ngwo... Good news all the way Step busstop |
![]() With respect to his excellency Prof Jerry Gana one time presidential aspirant, he has no political clout or weight and more so he has not brought much to his people like Generals Gowon, Danjuma, Kefas, late Badeh and other middle belt politicians like Senator David Mark who have been in places of authority and power and influence to help their people. In my humble opinion there is no difference between APC and PDP. They are both incapable of good governance and a waste of time for good meaning Nigerians. Many who wished for a better Nigeria but didn't see it before they died would be disappointed with both parties. I pray to God for me and like minded patriots, that we would see a good Nigeria or live in another country which is good and would treat us right even as we transfer our hardwork, good will and patriotism to them. |
This man was faithful and loyal to his wife and family and their throne I heard he gave up smoking because of Queen Elizabeth He'd be missed by those who loved him Condolence to them all |

Obaseki should forgive Oshopikin and remember the good old days of eating corn together
