Religion / Re: Re: Nigeria’s Constitution Allows Muslim Women To Wear Hijab – Minister by IME1: 12:35pm On Feb 25, 2022 |
Dear Funnyandviral let's not be petty, depravity in schools where teachers sleep with their students has nothing to do with faith. It happens in every part and by every religious person. Won't it be coarse to bring in religion what happened to little Hanifa? The whole country came togtehr as one to condemn the act. We dont care that it was done by a Muslic cleric in a religious school. So a clergyman rapes boys and you conclude it's only one religion. A corps member sleeps with his student he must be from the other religion. A church goer or invited guest wears mini skirt and automatically represents all Christians. No sir we don't think Muslims' actions are biblical. The ogun worshipper won't lie on oath doesn't mean he's saying the truth based on the Bible. The atheists won't kill their neighbour because the Bible said so. So please if you are a Muslim don't advice your practises to the holy Book of Christians. A whole chapter of your book is dedicated to Mariam doesn't mean we'd need to read it to know about Mary. Your book urges praying 5 times doesn't mean we have to pray 3 times like Daniel did in the Bible. You dont make reference to Torah or the sacred books of Hinduism and Buddhism so why the Christian Bible? And you say Christians are hypocrites and pretenders? I think the mention of Christ and Christians ignite something even you can't explain... Maybe it's the dynamic in it, cause I don't see mention, refer to or discuss Amadioha and Olokun You guys are the ones always pained, the Qur'an said it, whenever you see a true Muslim, we see satanic pains on your faces. What's the big deal in covering your hair, very simple stuff, but devil doesn't like it. Same school where girls turn their school uniform to miniskirts, nobody complains, even teacher will be sleeping with those students, but ordinary covering of hair, you guys will rather complain. Can you swear students of those school don't have sex, they even have sex with teachers. |

Thanks hunknall you don't have to accept what Seun and his goons put there they don't care for traffic but live in fear not caution. If not why stifle or block comments that can make your thread run into more pages because you put such clause. Seun mind you, if it were the other way around, I won't click yes either to any declaration to any church denomination, even if it's mine. Faith is a matter of conviction not force sir Seun. You're trying to avoid your site from being raved down by extremists like the French guy with his online news. But irrespective of trouble makers who'd want to speak any how to Muslims (which is absolutely wrong) your rule 2 should suffice now. I had to accept that I'm a kusilm just to comment. Just see imagine the nonesense. |

Thanks thanks a lot Imaima1 from the original thread Remember we only want equity and true peace not confrontation or insults You Muslims should be content with your own things. You built your schools, be content with them. You can as well wear hijab and the long robe in your schools. You can even teach the Qur'an instead of regular school syllabus. |

https://www.nairaland.com/6976967/nigerias-constitution-allows-muslim-women#110059401 The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, says Nigeria’s constitution allows Muslim women to wear hijab in line with the teachings of their faith.. Original post was on the Muslim thread and I am not a Muslim so I'm barred from commenting until and unless in a matter of seconds convert to Islam by clicking yes without any conviction but just to make a point. Well Seun, since you have your hands tied and ears with headphones let me suggest to all non-Muslims that you can make your comments by creating your own Reply threads and invite other non-Muslims to discuss objectively with you. |

Praise God, inasmuch as I appreciate what science and medicine ha ve done for man and society, I want to believe and encourage everyone to believe that children are gifts from God and He can give them at any age or time, if you believe. I believe in the stories of Sarah, Hannah and co. I believe people can give birth at advanced ages naturally. I believe those who use other methods also must thank God for life, money and success. Not everyone who tries science and medicine have been 100% successful you know. It's all God 9 Likes |

Rest in peace great man 94 is no small feat! It's God Who made it possible!!! I'll miss him. I've watched A patch of Blue, to sir with love, lilies of the field, guess who's coming to dinner and many more I agree with this... Originalsly: He never degraded or downgraded the negro race. Bahamas is also where Dr Myles Monroe came from. Present day negro men and women eh, especially in the US I leave the story for another day, week, month or even year. But they need to do better just as Sir Sidney Poitier did 1 Like |

Strange men and strange party Before this man's election those same 14 lawmakers were sitting in one of his properties as a parallel legislative body to those who had resumed since 2019. Even the so called house of assembly is non existent, has no location, passes no bills, nor holds any public hearing My dear which ever state you are just thank God, the other states you think are sane are all failed don't be moved by the glossy photo ops, edited pictures, doctored videos and media hype. There's no functional state, I'm sorry to say. Ive been to over 23 Nigerian states. Edo is not my state of origin nor is Lagos, Kaduna, Ebonyi or Rivers or all the others which have been in the news for one reason or the other. It's sad that we don't have a reference state. What would it take? Reference in terms of prompt salary payment, security, healthy environment, peace, moral sanity, functional health and educational institutions, good roads, public water, street lights, regular lightsas a result of good electrical installations, market with regulated prices, restful and not restive youths, religious harmony, limited party agitation and modern like 22nd century infrastructural development... may be these are too much for them, for a WHOLE 8 years 11 Likes |

Will it be a strange thing to vote Moghalu? Nigerians once voted for an Abiola who was neither their kinsman nor religious brother For those of us who experienced Buhari as military head of state We were ready to vote for even an Obasanjo for a 15th term and that says a lot. When I was on the line to vote in 2019 I was so shocked when the lady in front of me said she's re-voting for Buhari because the devil you know... she said Atiku na thief. But there were several others on the list. I voted neither for Buhari nor Atiku because I believed in positive change, not Politician's change. I voted for a man I hoped will bring positive changes to Nigeria. I'm Nigerian not by my doing. God deemed it fit to birth me in this amalgamated entity. God is all knowing. Many have changed citizenship and many others have left permanently. But I'm here so I must do my best till... To everyone who voted for Buhari in 2015 and 2019 and have no regrets, please take out time, go on a retreat, ponder objectively and project yourself to May 28th 2023 and ask yourself how will it be? How would this regime, administration and tenure go down in history? I blame myself, because I made mouth that if Buhari wins I'll leave the country. I told all those who were too young to have known about Buhari, I told those older than me who were moved by propaganda and media hype, I told those who said it's just 4 or 8 years, I told them all. But I'm still here cause I've a family who won't leave the country. I've responsibilities and investments. Finally I've faith that this country would be good one day soon, in my life time and people will return to it and take it even further. But the concept of one Nigeria, right now I don't believe in it. I don't speak it or play blind loyalty and patriotism God please help us don't let us go the way of destruction or damnation. I know this is not our home but help us, in Jesus name, amen |

Politics / Re: Hundeyin Replies Akpabio: Authorise MTN, Airtel To Release Voice Records by IME1: 12:57pm On May 14, 2021 |
It took the death of a brilliant, determined, young job seeker to reveal the mess going on among idle minded youths like Akpan just in his twenties and the old politicians and those in the top echelon of power. For some of them it's for sports, fun and for hedonistic pleasure. For others it's for rituals and other occultic gains. I remember reading about boys used by Saraki erstwhile for elections who ran amok and raided in Offa, What happened to them and their influential backers? One eventually died and the rest are languishing in prison. Then I heard about a family popularly referred to as Afro in Benin who where behind the killing of a lawyer and burying him in a shallow grave. I do recall that on visit to the site other graves where discovered. #ENDSARS happened, prison break occurred and those culprits escaped. Now where is the justice? Sadly here in Uyo it's another case of revelations of crimes of old. Other graves have been found. Evil atrocities have come to bear. Now there are threats and counter banters. But how will it end? Will Akpabio use his office to help the victim's family get justice or will he be solely interested in his name and image? Will this be another cold case? Will the puppet be killed to silence him? Will there be an escape from prison? Will his cohorts go on a protest to release him based on human rights since his is not a bailable offence? This is not Criminal Minds,Mentalist, Law and Order or CSI, friends this is real life Our own here in Nigeria Evil is parading the land and our weapons against them can never be carnal, legalistic, street sense, guns or roses, vigils or ornaments, stickers or beads, charms or amulets or even escaping to another country... Believe me you, believe you me, the only solution is in God, in Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit. I rest my case, I know who I am, I know where I stay, I know who I don't know or how much I don't have 58 Likes 1 Share |
