Jesus Christ did not, did not show the example to, did not send anyone, did not inspire, did not approve that - ▪men build cathedrals and palaces and castles for GOs, Bishops, Venerables or Missionaries ▪men should drive luxury cars in His name and get them by His name ▪men should make or give false prophesies in His name or for His name ▪Christians in any century or generation should have slaves ▪people should segregate and be involved in apartheid ▪Christians should be racists or ribalists or bigots It's like blaming Atlantic ocean for the death of those whose car plunged into Ethiope river or River Cross or Lagos lagoon! There is no correlation. Last weekend my friend's phone was stolen and the fraudster sent us messages asking we send money cause he has stranded. He opened a palmpay account with my friend's names. So a number of us paid to help him. Only for us to find out that he was not the one. Now are you going to blame my friend for the activities of the fraudster? The fraudster used his name and stolen phone. So many people are fraudulently using the most holy name of Jesus Christ to commit and perpetuate and preach and celebrate sin. But do you blame Jesus Christ? Oh you want Him to silence and annihilate all them false preachers and followers? Hmmm then you go accuse am say Him no get mercy. I love Harry Belafonte and His songs, just like Sidney Poitier and Martin Luther King Jr. But the best prayer we can ever offer to God for ourselves, our loved ones and men like these is that we, they be saved by the blood of Jesus. If not all our works, good works, civil rights agitation, songs, movies, and theirs will only be for this life |

It occurs mostly with men. Most lesbian women don't even bother to marry. No matter how woke, civilised, educated, liberal, accommodating, understanding, minding your business, it's their life, I don't care attitude, progressives, cultural shock, cultural change LGBT+ must not be engaged in, supported, promoted or practised. Many of us have been victims of tribalism but we cannot take a whole tribe and hate based on the tribalism we faced from a number of their tribesmen. If not, many of us would never socialise, work with others or live with others. You, yes you who hates one tribe in Nigeria, you have friends, fellowship mates, neighbours, you have workmates, bosses and employees who are from that tribe. You've dated from there, married from there, served there, vacated there, attended burials and weddings there. Infact you have benefited from that tribe. But you hypocritically come to a public forum and spew HATE... What a shame For all of us who are neither tribalistic or from the WAZOBIA group, please remain neutral and show love. Maybe they in their "majority" can learn from the minorities to live and let live and love without tribalism. I love my father and mother, brothers and sisters, and so on, men and women so much that I don't like when people generalise! When you abuse men you forget your sons, uncles. When you disrespect women you forget your nieces, grandma. How can we come online and start spewing so much hate because you don't belong to the other gender? Can we become to the 2 at the same time? Don't we know that a number of people here use 'm' whereas they are females and vice versa? Sadly some males here who lash out at women were raised by their mothers - single, widow or divorced While some females here are still living in their dad's houses enjoying security, pecks and family time with siblings... So what's all these? 12 pages already? Hah Me that started work since yesterday... I thought by today many of us adults would have started getting busy in this beautiful prospective new year?! Let there be peace. I grew up in a time when our role models were physical or at least real. We didn't rely on online logic and diaspora views to know our selfworth and shortcomings. The op is wrong to push his prejudices and biases in public space, worse on a place like NL. Sadly a number of Nlanders don't know how to divest themselves from the write-up from the many faceless people here. While acknowledging that a few have shown their faces and others have contributed greatly to the lives of many, me inclusive, I still feel that NL pre 2023 had become toxic, illogical, abusive and a pathway to mental abuse and mental ill health. By faith I pray the owner Seun and his mods make the platform a veritable place for honesty, unity, sense, infact common sense and a pool of knowledge and undiluted fun. Sometimes when my younger cousins or younger people around me see me of NL they have this irritation and disappointment on their faces as though I ought not to waste my time here and rely on opinions and news from this platform. But alas! I've grown fond of NL. Been reading since 2006 when I got my first internet enabled phone and stumbled on it. But I thank God for giving me the ability not to be an addict of anything. So if people like the op and others who have stooped so low to his level to be cursing him and abusing both genders want to carry this negativity of NL this 2023, then I'll go back to just being a casual reader. Geez I can stay the entire 2023 like I've done in some years and months without logging in, commenting or even opening threads (just browsing the front page for relevant news and move on).
