I think you should also go with a print out of this email so that the VO will know the urgency of your case. Joanlaura: Hello everyone So I applied in May 2023 I got an admission into a private university during that time and they permitted me to start online due to the appointment date delay.
I have actually done about 4 semesters online after the school reviewed my situation But now they said I have to be there physically and can’t participate online anymore I currently have 2 semesters left Luckily I have just got a date for march 25th
Any advice on how to prepare for the interview, what documents I need to take and what to expect🙏🏻 |

Make in-depth research on this, I'm positive you will get lots of schools that do not pay tuition fees. No one will make the research for you as no one made the research for them. You learn a lot when you make your research yourself. Use dad as a lot have said. Use masters portal too. You research about the school, their requirements and the course you are going for. It's very straightforward Tobi4t2: I'm aware. I've been searching, do you know any school that accepts second class lower and funded? |

It means you have not registered for health insurance such as TK, AOK etc. Once you register for health insurance, your insurance provider will send an electronic notification to your school stating that you have registered for health insurance RealChris: Morning all, I got this from the university of Bremen, please I need assistance on how to do Electronic Health Insurance. Thanks. |

You need IELTS to apply to schools in Germany. However, note that there are a few schools where IELTS is not compulsory. With your proof of English proficiency from your school in Nigeria, you may be eligible to apply. Not all schools require Uni-assist either. You can search for schools on DAAD or Mastersportal. Please can someone help me with the difference between private and public health insurance in Germany? Apart from the fact that Private health insurance is cheaper and for people who are 30+, what else might be the difference and the benefits of both? Please I need all the answers I can get |

You can forfeit the admission and reapply, though admissions don't come easy again as it used to, so you getting admitted in the same school might not be possible. But if you are lucky you might get admitted there or some other places. Your other option is to study online till you get your visa,. Kennie28: Please I got admission for Msc in Th Koln and they said they can't defer the admission that I can only reapply Please what I do now I'm so shattered |

Go to the embassy with a proof of your Blocked account Ademxju: hello, pls I had my interview on the 3rd of May but couldn’t get blocking confirmation before that day and was told to bring it on/before June 3rd but the blocking confirmation/document still wasn’t ready but I went to the embassy regardless. A lady I met there (a staff/interviewer) said I should write an email stating the issue and also attach the email trail between myself and the bank (fintiba /Sutor) and that when the document is ready I should also attach it to the previous email I sent which I did immediately but I didn’t get any automated response/acknowledgment for the first email. The blocking confirmation is ready and I’ve attached that to the previous email but it’s still radio silence and I don’t know what to do. Is it advisable for me to visit the embassy or should I just wait and hope for the best I’d appreciate inputs/advise. Thank you. |

For the CV, some schools require EUROPASS CV others want it in a tabular format, which is the CV format in Germany . Just research on the school or you can write to them concerning the cv format to use if it's not stated on their website. Zebulun1: Good evening please is there a format for writing CV for admission in Germany and also i have two neco certificate from two different years and i really don't know how to include them in the CV |

I don't think it's safe to do so. Joddiealba: Should I just post the link of the telegram group here cos sending emails is kind of tiring..can I post it here?.is it allowed? |

I think you should be more concerned about getting to the country first. You never can tell, what works for you might not work for another. You might get more opportunities in a smaller city more than the person staying in a big city. Apply to all schools if possible and then you can choose on the one to go for. Jandminded: Town or cities?
I'm conscious of the city oh, because of work opportunities.
What do you think? |

I really feel for you. Sorry to hear this. I suggest you table your matter on twitter and ask for funding, by God's grace something good comes out of it. All the best. What if those schools don't work out? Why limit yourself to just 2 schools? There are schools that don't require IELTS, with just Language proficiency from your university, you're good to go. You should have applied to schools before now, then defer to the recent semester just to be on a safe side. Roushid: Good day everyone, My question is, I applied NOV 30, 2022 and my date will be around June, I emailed some public schools (PASSAU university and Facchoschule Sudwestfalen Hagen) because their admission date opens March 1st and they said IELTS is a compulsion for admission consideration in their school. They said I can apply for IELTS and upload proof I registered on Uniassist and submit IELTS result before Aug, 15th that they’ll treat my admissions like the rest so I’ll get admission letter before June most likely.
MY QUESTION IS? I am waiting to apply on Uniassist March 5th and also register IELTS March 1st. Is it advisable to do it this way or I should apply earlier on Uniassist? NOTE: Admissions has not opened for these schools for winter session |

Primary school leaving certificate University entrance exam is either Waec, GCE, Neco For the CV, some schools use Europass while others want it to be in tabular format. Check the school website to confirm Kennie28: Please I need help on this as it is urgent. Please I need clarity on these documents to be uploaded on unassist. Please let it fit o because I applied January 31st 2023. God please Aj79: We are saying the same thing! But if the appointment date does not fit the Winter 2024 then Sommer 2025 becomes necessary! Except it is schools/courses with an options of online Enrolment...plus late start of studies |

Please can you explain this? because from the look of things, this person will get an appointment this year. Why not apply for winter 2024/25 and then start school by October 2024? Please clarify me. Aj79: I suggest you apply for Winter with a plan to defer to sommer 2025. If your course does not defer then repeat the application the moment sommer 2025 Applications opens!
All the best! |

Like University of Kiel has ended winter application for masters in Materials Science and Engineering. Aachen will end theirs by 1st of March for Winter semester. So it all depends on the course he is going for. Aj79: Are referring to summer ? Winter Applications starts mostly in March and end 15 July. Just some few exceptions.
Thank you |

Congratulations dear. Please which questions were you asked? dennison4luv: Sorry for the late update....
I have picked up my passport with Visa stamped.
I booked for appointment on 21-08-2023 Got my AD same day and the interview date was on 7-09-2023 Here they dont send approval mail, you will go and pick up your passport when its ready. I got a message on 11-10-2023 that my passport is ready and I should come and pick up. I went to their office on 12-10-2023 and picked up my passport and Visa was stamped So it took 5 weeks to get my Visa after interview....
Guys don't allow anyone to discourage you, purse your dream with everything you have... If the embassy in Nigeria is delaying you, please check other African countries, like the west Africa countries. The day i went for my interview we are not upto 8 that day and i am the only one for study Visa, others are for visiting Visa and for family reunion. The Visa officer didn't ask me any question, he just took my documents and key it in. Most of this countries their citizens travels through sea, so their embassies dont have traffic like the embassy in Nigeria. |
