1, The positions of deputy gov , SSG, Chief of staff are not gotten by merit....they are political positions to be given out has the governor or his party see fit..

Most times they are a reward for those who worked or loyal for the cause of either the governor or his party....so by not choosing certain people does not mean he has done injustice to them...

2, such things are very common in the south... especially the south west and south south with tangible Muslim population...
Eg...Oyo, osun,Ondo,Ekiti, Edo and Rivers all have Christan gov and deputy... Yet no noise has been made over this issues and even if it was...we know most christians will react to this issues just like they reacted to wike comment...

My Take ..regardless of who gets appointed to any political positions is that they should do their work...
