manny4u: North Central. Lafia is terrible for a capital city. Minna is not that good too. Forget lokoja the aura and atmosphere alone oozes of nonsense.
North west Gusau the name suggest its gutter. Sokoto that one is just there.
North East Except for maiduguri and gombe the rest are rubbish.
South South Yenagoa is over rated. Benin too many old buildings.
South East. Umuahia is rubbish. Abakaliki is picking up compared to the last time I was there. Awka could still do better. Owerri is not that bad.
I have been to all the states in Nigeria so I am talking from experience. Yola & Bauchi city are miles ahead of Gombe.. |

Before you guys start commenting, Compare the population of individuals in those cities and that of Lagos /Abuja
Then next compare the IGR of those cities to that of Lagos/Abuja
Then before you start mentioning me Browse the most liveable cities in the world and check if you will see any huge commercial hub state (with a high population) in the first 10 or first 20 list
Then you can mention me in peace But if you haven't avoid mentioning me So Cairo, Egypt doesn't have huge population or high IGR..? |
Politics › Re: Church And The Crime Capital Of The World! by ImmaculateJOE(m): 9:04pm On May 13, 2023 |
EmeeNaka: You are still struggling to push your thoughts through.
Yes, Society do not pray their way out of poverty. Society also do not riot their way out of their problem. The economic problems and other problem of the society are always solved with good political leadership. You can never expect the church to solve Nigeria problem because it is beyond them and that is why they ask people to pray. The church plays a lot of role in in the welfare of their member. One of such role is the 'opium' role; where the church helps people to bear the pains. The problems that led people to churches were not created by Pastors, instead by bad leadership. The church and church leaders contributes their quota to the promotion of the good political leadership and welfare of the society. One of the leading voices against oppression and bad leadership in Nigeria are Arch Mattew Kukah, Bishop Chukwuma, Bishop Oyedepo and many more like them. The Christian religious leaders, under CAN, has repeatedly condemned all sort of killings that targets innocents and Christians in Nigeria. The CAN has also mounted pressure on governments to acts. You must stop looking at the bad things. Your eyes only see some bad isolated cases. The church has been a champion of education, health, human right and freedom. You claim to delve into areas you are versed in, but unfortunately, your eyes sees only the things you want to see. Nothing stops you also from reading about the contributions of Islam and other religious groups to the current security problems, economic hardships and human right abuses bedevilling Nigeria. Churches and Pastors has never impoverished the masses. In fact, the church is a great promoter of hard work. Every church wants their members to pay tithes and tithes has to come from your earnings. Can church impoverish people in order to get tithes? What kind of logic is that? Which research claim that church impoverished people? In Nigeria, the Christian dominated areas performs better in education, health and poverty alleviation. If church impoverishes people, why are the Christian majority states doing better? You must open your mind to learning and critique the nonsense you scripted above. I am not acquitting some Pastors of scams, but to gather church together for condemnation because of the bad conduct of few people is unacceptable. You guys that are too critical of churches should just be the atheist you want to be instead of pretending to be fighting bad Christian practices. The major problems of Christians and Nigerians are terrorism and bad leadership/corruption, not Pastors. Very Apt! |

misano: That's the most influential. Obi and Kwankoso are not exactly powerful, they are very influential.
Same with Buhari, influential.
Wike is powerful, meaning he uses his powers to force people against their will.
Tinubu is corrupt because he uses money to buy others to his side.
OBJ is powerful because he was one time head of state, but not influential because he couldn't influence the voters in his community.
Wike, Abacha are the same.
Tinubu, Danjuma are the same.
Obi, Kwankoso, Buhari are the same.
For the rest they have little from here and there. Well said, can't agree less. Obi is currently the most influential personality in Nigeria, Buhari, Kwankwoso will follow him closely.. Wike is power mis road, he will be very useless after this year. |

So I don't think Fulani not really Adamawa for a long time is a thing . If Atiku' son gets the ticket, then it will be a walk in the park for APC. They should give it to a Christian candidate. |

senatordave1: If actually many Christians voted her, plus most muslims voting her,she actually won. You dont calculate elections based on religion if not obi will win and pdp would have won kad, nasarawa and apc wins osun.a lot of Christians and muslins will always vote either ways.with fintiri out of the way, christian votes will easily be suppressed while that of muslims will be inflated Fintiri would still be in charge when the next election would be conducted.. |

Politics › Re: 'How I Contested Against Those In Abuja Who Feel They Own Nigeria' – Gov Fintiri by ImmaculateJOE(m): 12:22pm On Apr 19, 2023 |
senatordave1: True,if she still remains in apc.ribadu is a big threat.they can't give him ticket na,the last two govs were from north.the party doesn't like him.he can only deputize.maybe if apc had given their ticket to a minority muslim like fintiri, they might have won Sen. Abbo is bigger than deputy gov. Bindow hopes to clinch PDP ticket in 2027, he also from Adamawa North.. These people still wants to retain power.. Sen. Binos will also justle for PDP ticket, he is from the south and a Christian too, plus the Christians wants power in 2027, Fintiri knows this, and also knows that Christians fought for him twice to win the seat. 2023-2027 he will surround his government with Christian and would love to give them the ticket.. |
