When you repent genuinely, God forgives you totally and you begin to enjoy His presence. But as you begin to move on, the HolySpirit will begin to tell you of some things you need to go and make peace about, stolen things to return e.t c. It could be people you hurt so bad that you need to apologize to. At this moment if you snub such leading of the HolySpirit, you become disobedient and it is sin. The HolySpirit is willing to assist you if you pray to Him for grace to make peace with those you have offended.

When the HolySpirit reminds you of something to confess, restitute e.t.c, if you refuse to do it, you will not enter heaven. And yes, the HolySpirit helps a lot if you pray for His assistance in make peace with anyone. He is a Helper in many things.

Pray this morning: Lord Jesus Christ, please forgive me all my sins, come into my life and be my Lord and personal Saviour in Jesus name. Amen.

That's true restitution.

Another people that should restitute and get punished are pastors.

A pastor can't casually say on pulpit that he kpai someone or robbed when he was an unbeliever and not get arrested and jailed. That's confession and he should do the time.

Don't you think he should also return all the money or salary he has received during the years he used his certificate. Because WAEC certificate will lead you to the university where you earn degrees and use the degree to work. So, such a man should return his degree and all the salary he earned with it.

RESTITUTION IS GOOD BUT IT SHOULD BE WELL TAUGHT.

I don't like argument.
On Numbers you quoted. Didn't Absalom have long hair that was well praised as part of his beauty? Why wasn't Absalom condemned for breaking the law or was he also a Nazarite or on vow yearly because he trims it just once yearly.
Didn't keeping beards part of the requirement for men that David had to tell the elders whose beards were shaved to stay at the border for such a long time until their beard grow. Do we follow those requirements as Christians now?
I Corinthians 11:16 you quoted earlier the meaning is that the teaching is NOT A CUSTOM in the church. It was just an advice from Paul and NOT A GENERAL CUSTOM of the Church. Good and read the original Greek and its interpretation.

Everything is cultural within it's own culture. All Christian practices are cultural within the Christian culture. A man who wears a cap in a MAINSTREAM Christian church, or a woman with an uncovered hair, will quickly be given signs to correct it - NOT that they'll get arrested!

If you read downward, you can see how Apostle Paul used that to address the food offered to an IDOLS and how a VISITOR should handle it.

Are you supposed to avoid a food blessed in the name of Jesus Christ when the food was not offered to an IDOLS?

Is the food offered in Jesus name not suppose to be one of the best food without restriction for believers to partake?

If the scripture even allows believers to eat the food offered to an IDOLS based on one's conscience, how much more will the food offered in Jesus name?

I understand your thoughts quite clear.
I eat the emblem in my own church and I fully partake in it.
I was invited and I know their rules. I could have said no, I wasn't forced. When I got there, they quoted and quoted some scriptures out of context on why people should not eat it.
I knew it was out of context but I am a man of peace. I was not called to disrupt their service but just as a guest.
Not eating it IN THEIR ASSEMBLY does not have any consequence since I may still eat it in my church later this month.

I have seen women in churches with their head uncovered and so on cut. I have also seen men in churches with their caps on their heads.
Let's not discuss this issue again ma or sir. I have respected you view and I stick to mine that it is a cultural advice from Brother Paul.

I am on my way to the memorial. I was invited by a group of wonderful friends. I had attended during my youth service some couple of years ago. I wish to have a wonderful time. Though I won't be eating the meal because I need to abide by their rules.

I don't know how the new earth will be and where it will be. All I know is where Christ is is where I will be in that new earth whether it is this present one that will be renewed or there is a new one that will replace this one or the new earth is heaven, I don't care. All I know is wherever it is and however it look, I will be there.

The probability of it being the old testament saints is very slim.
Imagine Abraham in that fold telling people around Jerusalem that he is Abraham and also Moses did the same etc. it would have been historical in Christianity that people would be calling it a myth today and I doubt if all in Jerusalem will doubt Jesus if Abraham and the old testament saints had risen and preached him.

You were particular about "men". Let me say this, didn't Paul also say "a woman on cut is shameful to that woman?" Did that apply again today? Many women are going on cut now and it is normal in our culture of today.
If you agree that a man should not have long hair, then a woman should not cut her hair, since Paul said both are shameful.

To your question sir. I have done my research over the years on that passage and below are my findings and submission.
MY FINDINGS
1. It was only Matthew (out of the four gospels) who captured this epic story. Why?

MY SUBMISSION
When Jesus died, three things happened and the rising of the dead followed the third and last which is the earthquake (vs 51-53).
Let's start with verse 51c.
"The earth shook, the rock split apart."
Verse 52.
"The tomb were opened and many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead"
Verse 53
After Jesus resurrection, they left their tombs and appeared to many.

Now, my submission is this. From the three verses that captured this incident it should that after the death of Jesus, many dead people (who had died recently maybe some days prior to Jesus death, not 5,000 years ago) came back to life and at Jesus resurrection they were free from their tomb and joined to their family Jesus like Lazarus was raised from the dead. It proved that at Jesus death, one of the many signs was that his death brought people back to life.
Adam, Abraham, Abel, Deborah are not the one that came back to life. If it was it must have been historical, all the gospel writers would capture it, all the apostles will capture it and all the Jewish historians will right literature about it since they appeared to many.

From the verses you quoted, it is the verse that showed that it is cultural. That verse 14 is what exposed the cultural aspect. The word "nature" used by Brother Paul is the Greek word "phusis" which means "Native disposition, constitution or usage."
When you study the Roman culture in which Paul is a citizen and the Corinthians were her colony, you will know that their men don't keep long hair (even in their movies like Spartacus and the likes) they believe it is Barbariana (the Tracians and other unlearned culture even Jewish men that keep long hair, most of the pictures of Jesus attributes long hair to him though he is a man). Their (Roman) women don't cut their hair (cutting hair is a sign of adultery and prostitution).
Sir, read more on Roman culture on hair for both men and women.
So, Brother Paul was using it to pass a message across which is culturally binding like Yorubas will teach their daughters to kneel to greet and boy should prostrate. It is culturally good but not spiritually binding because you can't force that greeting style on a European child. I hope you get.

Let's take a look at the last 5 verses of Hebrew 11
From verse 35

Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

38 (Of whom the world was not worthy they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

These verses speak of people who died without receiving the promise of Jesus Christ, yet they had faith in him. Then we read verse 40, which says that they can't be made perfect without us.

So my question is, what do we do to make these people perfect? Are these people still living, or are they dead?

We also read in verse 13,
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

My question here is, since the faithful servants of old did not receive the promise, are we also responsible for their salvation? I advice you read the entire chapter for more understanding.

The answer you are looking for is in verse 35c "They place their hope in a better life after the RESURRECTION."

To your question.
The old testament saints have not reached perfection (the resurrection to a new life without death and sin) without us the new testament saints.
This shows that ALL of us, Abraham, Adam, Peter and we who are still alive will all be made perfect (resurrection to a new life without sin and death) together.
So, currently, they are still asleep like Paul called it in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 waiting for the Resurrection trumpet sound where all the saints both dead and living will be made PERFECT (RESURECT) together in the First resurrection according to Revelation 20:4-6. I hope we all be partakers of this great day of Joy when we will be with our Lord for a thousand years and after the judgement of the dead (Revelation 20:11-15), we will be with him on the new earth forever (Revelation 21). Amen.
