I have a disturbing question which I need you guys genuine answer especially those that had passed through the process.

I want to apply for Nigeria international passport and I searched online and discovered that one can apply for it via https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/nin/VTJGc2RHVmtYMS9BdnErK0xBMUlmbXRlSkNQb0NxejZ4WUhHdDZVMlROVT0%3D

That is immigration portal.

My questions are...

1. Have anyone here or your friend or relatives applied through online and later went to the nearest immigration office and complete the biometric.
2. I saw where the site says that for general international passport, 5 years is 35k whereas 10 years is 70k. If after paying for any of these, will I need to pay again when I visit their office for biometric?
3. If I will pay again, how much will I pay again when I visit the immigration office for the biometric?
4. How long does it take (...like...how many weeks or months) before it is ready?
5. Is it advisable me to go through that online process or should I just visit their office and do all the process in their office.

don't mind them. I wonder what people benefit from circulating false news. The op even went ahead to mention some names as if to say he obtained legit news from them. The moderator in this forum should be hold responsible by approving such fake news. Even today, the whole filling stations in abakaliki are now selling between #500 to #600.

I can comfirm to the general public that this news is misleading and full of lies. I'm currently in abakaliki, although their were few filling stations that were opened that yesterday, they did not sell in such amount. During the morning, it was only three filling stations that were selling and among the three, one was selling #500 and the other two were selling #600. Later in the day, many of them opened and they sold #500.
