Thanks be to Great Almighty God, American military boots are on the ground in Nigeria, meaning the tide will visibly turn against the Islamist hordes swarming the Nigerian hinterland, in a manner that will please even the most jaded critic of Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu, the nation's diplomat-in-chief known for his eloquence of few words, each imbued with hard-earned wisdom.

Your hope in the so-called American boots on ground is misplaced, sorry to tell you.
At most, America has sent a small contingent of military advisers but will not expose their troops to frontline fighting in Nigeria’s jungles.
The outcome of America’s lies on the shoulders of the Nigeria’s weak and Islamic compromised military just the same way Islamic religion played a key role in the outcome of America’s intervention in Afghan.
America is wise not to allow their troops die needlessly for a country whose own citizens will sabotage military and intelligence operations by giving terrorist advance warning of operations.

The only time terrorist operating in Nigeria experienced a semblance of defeat was in the Jonathan military mercenary days. An arrangement that Buhari, a terrorist apologist quickly ended.
Only that sort of arrangement with America’s military advisers behind the scene will provide effective deterrence to the plague of terrorism in Nigeria not a reliance on the weak and compromised military and police forces.

But this won’t happen with Tinubu whose only interest now is elections.

Go back and watch his pre-election interview at Chatham House, for every question he answered, he was playing god, and overconfident! He knew he will win the election by hook or by crook, he also knew that Nigeria was plagued by insecurity which he heavily criticised as an opposition politician but was mute in the dark days of Buhari, yet he had and has no robust plan on how to better police and secure Nigeria and Nigerians.

He might be a sneaky politician but he is a failure in almost every parameter of governance, currently managing a pantry 4/10 score of effective leadership.

I won’t put myself in his smelly shoes because I am not the president.

What’s most disgraceful is the government’s response everyday when known bandits kill helpless Nigerians, they act like nothing happened.

America will not solve a problem will refuse to solve!

In any other sane country except in Africa, the present political class including the weak President should have packed up or been thrown out by brunt force.

The primary responsibility of government is the security of lives and property, the maintenance of order and security, Nigeria has a very weak and inefficient government.

Instead of dying like flies in Nigeria, isn’t better Nigerians donate themselves for medical experiments in serious countries, at least they will be dying for a good cause!

Good question. Taste engineering is not a crime or simply about profiteering.
You see, taste evolves and so needs modernising or updating to fit with consumer preferences. Take Gulder lager as an example. The taste has undergone many purification or engineering, so it’s now appealing to young drinkers, has no after taste and breath smell and hangovers.
Every product goes through some modernisation over time to increase its appeal not simply to reduce production costs.
Life lager beer is another example of a reengineered product in taste.

So the Brewery I once worked for in Nigeria started something called Taste and flavour Engineering/re-engineering.

I understand it’s an ongoing experiment to use substitutes in place of ingredients and still arrive at the same taste. These experiments are for production purposes in the event of lack of certain ingredients or as a means to cut production costs for some products and maximise profits.

Each reengineered product goes through lots of tasting by beer tasters and can go into production if the taste can match taste with the real product.

Keen consumers can however notice the taste difference.

Taste engineering is very common practice in the beverage industry.

I am not sure if you are male of female however your pessimism is really deeply rooted and so responding to you might actually be a waste of my time and energy or simply and academic exercise.

For your point number 1, I will ask you: are humans perfect?, do you know anyone who is? Are you perfect?

If you seek perfection with no tolerance for errors, you bring needless frustration on yourself.

Happiness is relative not absolute. It’s also a personal decision to choose happiness which comes from contentment- the knowledge that you can’t achieve absolute happiness in this world.

It’s your choice to dwell on the negatives but to insinuate that there are no fulfilled marriages is a dangerous conclusion. So speak for yourself not for everyone.

Separation and divorce is allowed where there clear cases of infidelity, abuse and intolerance etc.

The real underlying issue is a government and its institutions that are both weak and corrupt.

Not just this regime but all those before it.

Relative security is possible but justice must be swift and unbiased. Equity and justice must prevail against political and ethnic considerations. No persons or ethnic groups must be allowed free rein of terrorism.

Withdrawal of police escort is not enough, swift and very severe punishments must be handed down to all terrorist.

A happy marriage is attainable even though there no perfect marriages.

A happy marriage is the union of two good forgivers.

Marriage is the union of two imperfect persons from varying backgrounds and with different personalities yet if they make the effort to live by the golden rule- treat each other like they will like to be treated and closely follow God’s marital guidelines as set out in the Holy Bible, they will be truly happy.

My marriage has not being without its challenges but by continuing to show unselfish love for one another, by cultivating and displaying fruitages of the Holy Spirit like love, joy, patience, kindness, long suffering and endurance, we are not only happy but prospering in our marital lives.

Yes you can be happy and fulfilled in your marriage even with occasional challenges.

Do not demand perfection from your spouse, respect the marital headship arrangement, love your spouse unselfishly, remain faithful and loyal- don’t scheme to leave your marriage, speak truth to one another and allow God and word be your guide then your marriage will surely succeed!

Never being insensitive to her demands but has proven to be Godly, virtuous, loving wife and mother, something now quite rear about this generation of women.

This FIRS response seems to create more confusion than clarity and completely avoids Atiku’s questions.

Even though appointing another payment pathway is not a crime and may as well create employment opportunities, Atiku’s questions borders on the process employed for this appointment as to whether it was transparent. He also wanted to know how much the new company gets for its tax collection services, FIRS sounded like they do this for free.

Atiku is also a businessman and recently his son-in-law was embroiled in a corruption scandal with the government, so he might also have a business interest in this.
