Foreign AffairsRe: BREAKING: US HAS GONE HOT: LAUNCHES NON-STOP STRIKES ON IRAN by Immatex(m): 4:14pm On Jul 17
zoghys:
When has united state under trump use a diplomatic solutionhuh?. The just threw that region into years of needless war, because of you think Iran will let this slide then you're on some cheap drugs. Iran response will be fierce and many innocent civilians will be at the receiving end.
No be only fierce, the last kick of a dying horse you mean?

They will carry out terror attacks, sponsor terror attacks and even banditry in Nigeria but can’t even inflict operational damage to their tormentors US and Israel!

Iran is the an Islamist Terror State!
Foreign AffairsRe: BREAKING: US HAS GONE HOT: LAUNCHES NON-STOP STRIKES ON IRAN by Immatex(m): 11:42am On Jul 17
Iran must be committing Peace Crime!

If US uses diplomacy, you come here and insult them saying they are weak and a paper world power now they’re striking Iran the same way Iran like to strike and because this time Iran is at the receiving end of, you remember war crime.

Iran thinks this is the days of Persian dominance, unfortunately this is the American World Power showing their iron-like power for a brief moment.

Who will hold America to account for your war crime allegations? ICC or UN?

It’s in Iran’s best interest to accept defeat because the rocks, caves, crags and mountains of Iran won’t stop the annihilation of the State Sponsors of Terrorism from definite collapse at America’s hands.

A ground invasion is inevitable either directly or by proxy!

na me & you go thief am now as you no wan use your head ask better questions and at least e dey inside my so called rickety car I no ask you or come beg you make you borrow me your car put am. Most of you think you can just talk down or condescend people. I would have loved it if my previous comment wasn't deleted so me & you could have had it, the items were inside a car shipped from UK and you could have at least checked me up to know if I sell stolen or looted items as you pointed out in the first 2 lines of your statement. I deliver cars for nairalanders allover naija and would rather do that than to come online and ask other hardworking individuals to dash me 💰
For the sake of food safety and public health, import foodstuffs the correct way. Food imported into this hazardous environment can become contaminated and poisonous.

Cutting corners because it’s coming into Nigeria is the reason we can’t be taken seriously and trusted to do things right.

We dehumanise our people by treating what they consume with no regard but you don’t want to suspected of stealing or looting but expect fellow country men to eat your likely contaminated imported goods.

Come-on guy, do things properly and stop advertising mediocrity!

ALABACONNECT:
Not exactly a nice thing to say. This is the way most foreign food items come especially in Alaba because of how they are packed inside the container or the car. Valid question but you can construct your statement better next time.
Well said but presentation matters a lot especially when consumables are involved.

I saw a comment about car import but I also a cable in the truck of that car carrying the food, the cable was also an import?

Besides that, it’s still a poor narrative that food can be imported into the country without regulations and checks. You can’t even import dog food into other African countries without proper documentation and customs checks.

Here someone is advertising to sell food store or carried in unhygienic conditions and is angry when questioned.

The persons above haven’t even asked the obvious questions:

You thief am?
Or you loot am?

Because it’s looking suspicious selling rough cartoons of food from the boot of your rickety car.

But as hunger games Dey Nigeria now, nobody has asked the important questions of how and why?
CareerRe: Should I Tell My Younger Brother To Quit His Job ? by Immatex(m): 9:36am On Jun 29
Una sha dey suffer for Nigeria oooh.

No dignity of labour.

Is this any different from modern slavery?

Is this any different from how Nigeria immigrants are treated in some Arab countries?

Later Una wan to dey insult people wey dey do Care jobs for UK.

A man is living like a slave labour in his country and is even afraid to confront his oppressor, demand to be dignified and respected.

Zero work-life balance equals modern day slavery!
PetsRe: My Dog Is Depressed (pictures) by Immatex(m): 4:06pm On Jun 27
If na you be this dog, you no go dey depressed?

If you own this kind of sick looking and obviously depressed dog here in the UK, them go jail you for animal cruelty.

You never feed yourself well you go add innocent dog to follow suffer.

This sort of animal cruelty and abuse is only possible in third world countries like Nigeria.

My guy japa to UK after collecting tetfund PhD scholarship. Me, if I see opportunity outside I might japa without serving. The one I served is enough. Maybe I might refund them gradually if I see money.
There’s a valid reason to close loopholes in the entire country’s system to prevent things like things from happening but Nigeria won’t.

My personal conviction and conscience won’t allow me think in this direction or attempt to do this, reason why I used my personal funds as I am not returning to Nigeria for another 10 years.
EducationRe: FUD Cracks Down On Lecturers Who Absconded After Sponsored Programs by Immatex(m): 8:10am On Jun 27
WatchYourSix:
The system played them too…. All of those TET fund beneficiaries dont get their monies in full…..it’s one of the reasons some of them dont return to Nigeria.

because TET fund disburse the funds through the university and not directly to the students…. the University reps steal the money under the disguise of ensuring accountability ….

TET fund beneficiaries have suggested that the full money be paid to the foreign University instead but the rot in the system is top to bottom
I believe you.

I knew someone who managed to secure a scholarship to study abroad from Abia State government then, he parted with at least 30% of the approved funds. He was told he will only get 70%, as others will take their cut.
EducationRe: FUD Cracks Down On Lecturers Who Absconded After Sponsored Programs by Immatex(m): 10:17pm On Jun 25
When we were to leave Nigeria, my wife tried to secure a Nigerian government scholarship from either ABSU (Abia State Government in the darks day of Okezie) or via TEFUND but I vehemently refused.

Because I don’t want to have my family name listed like this in a newspaper. I didn’t want to be held to any contract or clause.

We simply self sponsored and are better off without any feelings of indebtedness or allegiance towards Nigeria, Abia state or ABSU.

Lots of Nigerian scholars here were sponsored but have no plans of returning to Nigeria or even repaying their debts. They’re simply happy to play the system.
CrimeRe: Trending Video: Police Officers Seen Waving At Bandits On The Highway(watch) by Immatex(m): 6:40pm On Jun 24
Those police officers have a right to go home to their families alive and not in body bags!

They’re in no position to mount any sort resistance against those battalion of armed bandits.

It’s the failure of Nigerian government at all levels and the poor coordination of every branch of the State Security apparatus that should be blamed not so poorly equipped, poorly trained and grossly underpaid officers.

But don’t be a deadbeat baby daddy oooh.

Every child deserves a responsible father, one that’s present and help them forge a better future.

It’s also cheaper, more respectable to be a father than a baby daddy, don’t increase your future regrets.

Never date a person you can’t marry. Never impregnate a woman you don’t want to be the mother of your kids.

It will do you great good to marry your neighbour, she did you no wrong!
CrimeRe: BADCASH.ng A Possible Fix To Kidnapping In Nigeria But Can’t Reach The Right Ear by Immatex(m): 9:45am On Jun 24
Not a bad idea but is it a realistic idea? Is it practically scalable?

How many years or decades will Nigeria really need to adapt to this way of doing things?

When kidnapping happens, how many victim’s families openly involve the police and banks?

You mentioned ATMs and POS, do those machines accept cash in Nigeria? Even if they do, do they currently have the capacity to detect and refuse flagged banknotes?

There’s an established method of marking banknotes to render them useless that’s why monies conveyed by bullion vans can be spoilt if unauthorised access occurs and such monies looses their legal status.

While this your idea isn’t bad in itself, the practicality and deployment might make it difficult to be adapted.

Just my thoughts and not an attempt to discourage you. Give it as much push and publicity as you can but don’t take it to
Personal so you don’t feel disappointed if things don’t go your way.

You just open your mouth and blabb. Watch your tongue, dont call me a fraud because I have not defrauded you or anyone here. Check my followers on nairalnad that should shut you up, not just the numbers but the known monikers on nairaland that follow me. Who the hell is immatex?

keep your thoughts to yourself chief. You haven't inspected the car have you? Why post such derogatory comments?? What exactly is your plan? Have I offended you in any manner? If you dont like it kindly exit and leave it for others that are interested to view, inspect and make their decision themselves. Stop all this rubbish you kids do on others people posts on NL its really childish and annoying. Go to X or other platforms if you want to be noticed with your comments not on somebody's hustle habaa!!
Without apology I can call you a fraudulent person because the topic you have chosen to advertise your old car is the opposite of it’s physical appearance and condition.

What is clean about this car?

You can be honest and still successfully sell your used car.

You can state the year, model and include faults when you sell your used car, that’s the norm amongst honest car dealers.

By the way, I am not a kid but a highly regarded Chief!

For long distances, diesel engines are your best bet

I stay in Canada, no public transport from the north to cities in the south, you either fly which is very expensive or drive which is about 1400km
What you need is a diesel engine high performance SUV

Haven't you done road trips. BYD is faster but still slow compared to buying gas, I am splitting 1600 in 2 days, each day about 800km. EV just wont do it.
Plus in extreme heat or extreme cold, ev batteries runs down faster.
Your case is different brother.

Buy a diesel engine high performance car

Until you travel long distances. you will hate it
Depends where in the world you live and the availability of public transportation network.

I live in England and won’t bother travelling too long on car when I can travel free on most trains and flying is cheap.

450 miles is nothing in big countries; I am travelling 1600 km next week. I can't imagine doing that in an EV car. You will have to wait a long time to charge your car
BYD charges as fast as you fill your tank plus if
you are travelling long distances don’t you take a break as required by law?

What’s the use of service area on the motorway if you want to drive 1600 miles on road without a break.

I won’t even stress my life driving that long when there’s train and airport all around me. It will be way cheaper to park my car at the train station and pick it up on my return.

PHEV as long as you're in Nigeria, and intend to travel long distance. But if you're to only use the vehicle within town, the FULL EV all the way
Tesla and BYD offer very long range, as much 450miles of real driving after a full charge.

Most hybrid have very low battery range.

Instead of a hybrid which is closely priced to a full EV, I’ll go for an EV with long range and fast charging like Tesla and BYD offer.
Car TalkRe: Plug-in Hybrid Vs Full Electric Car: Which To Buy In 2026? by Immatex(m): 9:29pm On May 06
I drive a fully electric car and don’t wish to return to petrol or hybrid.

I will always endeavour to remain purely electric.

Tesla and BYD are my favourite electric car brands but I am currently managing my 2024 Nissan Leaf.

When I blow, Tesla and BYD together.
Foreign AffairsRe: There Is No Xenophobia In South Africa - Deputy President, Paul Mashatile by Immatex(m): 11:13am On May 06
No country in the officially welcomes illegal migrates but it’s only in South Africa that the government contracts it’s jobless and illiterate people to do the job of administering jungle justice on immigrants both legal and illegal.

The South African government and its black people are a disgrace to humanity.

Immigrants may leave South Africa but South Africa won’t be better off nor will the absence of black immigrants result in any reduction in the crime rates all over the country.

If you list your successes also list your failures for a balanced and honest assessment.

Moses listed his failures as a leader but because Tinubu is playing god, he and his slaves never admit their glaring flaws and total failings!

The security of the lives of Nigerians is now for political showmanship. No sincere effort to safeguard law abiding citizens from criminals, many of the criminals support Tinubu and are his creation.
