His jail cell is being fortified as at now! He has no right to speak of justice to anyone. By his hateful and hate filled utterances he started something he is unable to finish and spearheaded the deaths of many deceived youths and other innocent victims of his succession movement. Extra ordinary rendition will not absolve him of the responsibility he bears for the consequences of his words, actions and inactions. He will go to jail and Nigerian government will take a slap on the wrist for the manner invoked to bring a fugitive to justice. Nothing will happen when he gets handed down a life sentence. Injustices and nepotism prevails in Nigeria but that does not mean a criminal fugitive should escape justice because other terrorist have not be brought to justice! |
Putin, King of the North, afraid of an inevitable end either by man or nature. Displaying weapons he dare not use. |
giftson102:Sorry for your being indebted by government something you will find very common if you don’t find better job opportunities outside government jobs. However, I know a handful of guys who were deceived into thinking Npower was reliable employment, it never was and will never be. It was a political concoction that sort to address the symptoms of unemployment by political empowerment than eradicate unemployment. You guys are being owed because the loaned funds for Npower has since been squandered by the Buhari administration even before the incident you referenced. Tinubu might find it difficult to borrow and pay people he knows does little to nothing, some even being ghost workers. Perhaps your hope is that his administration will clear your backlog before the forthcoming elections so as to secure your votes, even so, get a job not government stipends, you can’t be rich from peanuts. I am not bitter, I am a realist who can’t trust government worst of all, Nigerian government. Truth is always bitter, so you will find my points unpalatable. |
What’s Npower beneficiaries? Can’t you guys apply for work like other normal people? How much is even the pay? Or is it an addiction to free money wasted by government’s useless political and economic policies for vote buying? |
yarimo:They pay you pennies to do nothing for yourself. So a well done corrupt politician is better than Otto that Abia is managing. What good did the Kalu’s do for Abia state? |
A shithole country and state run by APC. Nigerian Politicians only think of their self survival at the expense of the masses. They only want to enrich themselves with stolen public funds to oppress the masses. God, please never allow me return to Nigeria! My secondary school classmate, named Mandela by some coincidence, who couldn’t pass any exam in school is an APC politician in Abia State. A pauper who has nothing to his name, is scheming to be a councillor with the only objective to loot whatever comes his way. He and others have nothing good to offer anyone but themselves. |
Sponsored editorial! DSS now needs image laundering to exercise their influence. Is he planning on contesting for an office in 2027 and wants to be in media circulation? In just 1 year he has performed the magic all his predecessors couldn’t achieve, interesting. |
Does this mean Coca-cola products consumed in Nigeria will be imported and more expensive? Perhaps it’s time Nigeria consumers enjoy ‘Made in Nigeria’ carbonated drinks - value for money options. |
Anyone with the Uzor Kalu name should never come near the governorship position of Abia State. They are very experienced in retrogressive governance and are a threat to the state. It shouldn’t be a family affair to govern Abia state. |
Nigerian Police Force and her officers are really comic actors. Isn’t their job to handle mental health and drug related issues like this? Aren’t they supposed to process her, using her finger prints, DNA, or by interview determine her identity, contact her relatives and check her into a mental institution before this informal social media statement? They don’t want to do real police work as much there’s nothing to benefit from it. |
Someday this theatrical spectacle will be concluded. Perhaps at the Supreme Court and then the International Criminal Court! |
gawu1:Help the government and the country, lend him the N12B. Put your advice to action! |
Luckysbab:Has he made the nation happy? Abi he wants to create record of the biggest scammer of his time? |
This is a good question and it should be answered promptly for record and reference purposes. |
Does the President also give loans? He wants the President to appropriate the nation’s funds to a loner who’s not known to have established any established venture just because he can write open letter? So if all of that can afford to pay for advertorials start writing open letters demanding for Billions of Naira from the President, what will that make us? This is absurdity. He knows how to get loans, he write to World Bank or IMF for loan to build 3000 houses for his village. Nigeria a comedy circus! |
IGBOSON1:I am happy to demonise the demons, which IPOB and the entire so-called Biafra freedom fighters are headed by your failure of a supreme leader, Nnamdi Kalu. Buhari is on record as the worst person to ever become Nigeria’s president, his greatest deed was declaring the IPOB and all its associated groups terrorist organisation. My accounts about the activities of this terror organisation are both my personal eyewitness and from reliable first person accounts. As a terrorist sympathiser, you and your kins can continue to live the lie and denial as long as you want but reality will dawn on you sooner or later. I am from Abia State, Ugwunagbo LGA, Obegu village precisely. I will not support criminals and terrorist simply because we speak same language even if that makes me stand out and alone though there many people who agree with me. I can write a 1000 pages book on this subject but I will be as brief as possible: Anambra- Headquartered in Ihiala and Nnewi South LGA, IPOB camped and terrorised residents for years unstopped especially after being pushed away from the Orlu-Orsu LGAs of IMO State. My warehouse was situated at the popular Ihiala Market so I witnessed many killings. It was common to see corpse littered on the streets especially at Total filling station Ihiala. Death by IPOB became stall news, it was daily. They erected roadblocks along the roads of Amorka, Azia, Lilu, Okija, Mbosi, Isseke, Orsumoghu, Ubuluisuzor and Uli extorting road users and kidnapping any who’s unfortunate. I lived in Uli and there were no silent nights, it was always gun shots and screams because a terrorist camp was a stone throw to my lodging. I had a brand new car at this time in 2022, I had to park the car for fear of being donated to terrorist as it was the norm. To be continued. |
No need for the polls, we can save the funds and resources that would be wasted for the exercise because it will be a 95% landslide. The man has over 80% of the governors, so how can he loose? How? |
I lived and worked in Okigwe and Ihiala, IPOB terrorised and rendered Ihiala - the entire east unsafe and unattractive for business and investments. The Ihiala people, the entire easterners excluding few persons like me, welcomed the terrorist IPOB with open hands believing they will secure them independence. They accommodated and gave expanse of lands to armed insurgents. They now celebrate returning to their abandoned villages as though it was not them who brought ant infested firewoods. For me, I have left both the east and Nigeria, praying never to return to a place and a people so irremediably retrogressive! |
DMCA:Hahahahaha, Nigerians deserve Nigeria. A country where nothing except corruption works. A country where should anything attempt to work, official bewitching in the name of protocols or procedures will frustrate even the living daylight out of anyone. Only bribery and nepotism can open doors for you in Nigeria. With the right bribe paid, you are covered. |
Nigerians persist in drug trafficking because the poor people of Nigeria celebrate ill gotten wealth and despise those who make honest living. In all Nigerian State, drug wealth is openly displayed, praised and worshipped. Many, enticed by greed take all manner of risk for the sake of riches, these persons deserve no mercy! |
Emeskhalifa:Think of more excuses to give. If INEC was a transparent organisation and wanted to grant him access to the documents, they would have not by asking for outrageous amount of money. Or at least give the requester a second option. But that’s you peoples problem, Nigerians deserve Nigeria! |
chicfarmer:Even my brand new 2024 model car here in the UK doesn’t run on Michelin tyres. There are loads of cheaper options here than Michelin tires. |
ufotunang:No, they don’t want to release the requested document and their supporters here in the comment section are quite daft! |
Paying Gratuity is still a thing in Nigeria. Gratuity is actually your entitlement withheld during service and paid in bulk upon exit. Though not applicable in the UK where you get paid your monthly salary and your pension remains intact until you reach retirement age. But this university has lots of explaining to do, otherwise this is modern slavery. By the way, God does not own any University. And if He wanted to own one, it can’t be situated in Nigeria! |
Except they plan to sell subsidies tyres or rollout a credit instalment payment system, Nigerians can’t afford their tyres! |
Vixlot:Illiteracy is a disease in Nigeria! So Certified True Copy (CTC) must be printed? In 2025 Nigeria, CTC cannot be provided in e-formats? You people saying I don’t know what I am saying should cover your heads in shame, you are all a disgrace to whatever education you have and a disgrace to the ideas of transparency |
So what happens to sending him the e-copy of the said document? Must it be printed in 2025? How about giving him access to the database of the electronic register which should be a public document in a portal. Otherwise, they should have said no, not this display ignorance! |
Lagos state in the hands of bigots! What’s the difference between this selective and ethic cleansing demolition and those done in Gaza? Simply because Tinubu lost an election Lagos, Igbos must be dealt with by destroying their investments in a country where they should have equal rights and opportunities? |
Baronthecelebri:There’s something called handcuffs! |
And they were allowed to cause a scene, fight and attempted to kill each other? They could not be restrained or kept in different detention rooms by security to de-escalate tensions? Very Nigerian! |
So it’s tit-for-tat? Then all of us will go blind. |
