1. In as much as the family sought closure by putting a cheery positive spin on her brutal hack down, she hadn't even started her race, it was truncated right at the start up line.... wedding in 2017? She didn't plan to die especially not in so gruesome a manner.

2. Why is she living alone with just hired helps? No sibling, cousin , friend, acquintance ?

3.. This below is why i have never & will never believe religion (which is not the same as deep faith ) confers sainthood on anyone..

Lastly.... When people don't want to help people, this right here validates it, even if Joel was/is a hired help, she took him off the street, live in to live in her house & also pays him (even if it's a pittance ) .... Death isn't her reward, no matter how pained he felt...
that is how one young lecturer i barely knew from my street petitioned me of 2k, i swiftly gave him even though he said he will pay back i asked him not to. 3weeks later, the dude came back with a request of 5k which i declined corporately and since then he has been showing face somehow. I know what i mean when i said i prefer the company of animals. Humans are ungrateful.

Completed race at age 32? The good Lord forbid. Her race wasn't completed; it was brutally cut short.

Some people are just destiny wasters, specially picked out by the devil to truncate promising lives.
so you want to live 100yrs before you'll be fulfilled? Am in my early 30s and am aready satisfied, i have seen it all and death means nothing to me.

your dag vaguely remembers you from his days as a pup in the house. it only sees you now as a NEW male member of the pack so its warming up to the dad (the alpha) and remain aggressive to you to show his dominance and the second alpha male in the house. and yes, he can smell your fear...so he wont back down until you challenge him head on .
if it is me, that dog go gree. i,ve had what i will call the most aggressive dog anyone could have, it started biting at 6weeks and wont let anyone touch him - infact touching him is a recipe for disaster, i trained the dog from 4weeks to 4months ( at this time it was already a mad beast) then sold it under strict buy-back option. at nine months old, i came back for the dog and the dog nearly chop me to pieces, one remarkable thing about the dog is that it has no modicum of fear in its bloodline. i completed the transaction for the dog and asked the owner to bring it to my house and loose it free, the dog saw me and old memories was rekindled, the affection he showed me that day was intriguing. sadly the dog passed out after 2 years of faithful service. a true GSD, it never barks for nothing, infact his bark comes only when he is attacking. am developing a female to harness the bloodline because the father is still alive at 13 years. fingers crossed. i will upload the picture of the dog later.

thats it, he does all these but once the urge comes he says it like he is been controlled.
he need to be aware that thoughts are things and that cravings leads to suffering. he needs to dominate his mind. he needs meditation too. i dont act on impulse rather i control myself utilising mind power. it works! and additionally, he should get rid of pornographic materials, stop seeing the female folks as a sex tool, get busy and engaging,- the more he works, the more exhausted he would be and that means no strength to masturbate. if there is nothing to do at all, doing press-up, sweeping or rearranging the house, reading and leisure walking. he should refrain from watching music videos - that is a sure recipe for masturbation.

I thought the Christians said that people in other religions are worshipping 'man-made' god and therefore they are commiting idolatry which is a sin according to the bible. I also thought that they said that Yahweh does not answer the prayers of a sinner. So why can it be Yahweh that's answering their prayershuh And Pls don't tell me that there are exceptional cases because I thought they also said that Yahweh does not change(although we still don't know why he changed the Old Testament to the New Testament sha cheesy just joking anyway).
whenever a thread like this pops out the Christians on Nairaland goes into AWOL abi na recession, i had been calling them out one by one. wink

nice post... but isn't the whole Christian view of all others being the devil and only theirs being of God a lil bit too over the line?? i mean.. its easy to call anyone the devil just to angelify(not an actual word) yourself... but i do like what you said in the end.... the end will correspond.... by their fruits indeed we shall know them... God bless
thank you bro. i cant explain why the Christians view their god as a deity with supreme monopoly over other gods while other gods or deities are awkwardly labelled the devil or demons. it is a very illogical way of thinking because other Religious denominations thinks the same way about their god.

KingEbukasBlog:
Hey bro

I don't argue for other gods but I have seen compelling miracles in Christianity

Like the dead being raised , the sick being healed and so many incredible testimonies .

In fact , last Sunday a young man testified of being healed of diabetes and hepatitis

With results of this healing from the lab

The concomitant frequent urinating and high levels of blood sugar ceased after receiving his miracle .

According to him , the lab scientist was shocked and kept questioning him , till he reluctantly accepted that the miracle happened . It was beyond his comprehension .

If the same thing happens in other religions which I strongly doubt , then from a Christian perspective their powers are from the wicked one - Satan whose purpose is to deceive people into thinking that have found truth in false religions

2 Corinthians 11:14–15
14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
about miracle, i don't know how to approach it because the term miracle is not specific - that means what you see as a miracle might not be translated as a miracle by another for instance, i healed a severe elbow pain yesterday through prolonged Intent Meditation. I personally do not label it as a miracle, i just utilised the power that lies in my mind which has the potential to even kill someone inadvertently practising it. I will not comment about miracles for now, please can we focus on the thread.

Thanks boss. I've been doing that since Friday. He did something funny on Sunday and yesterday. On Sunday, I had my mom prepare fried rice and diced chicken for him as Christmas treat but the nigga didn't eat it when I served him. When my dad went to him, he ate the food up. Yesterday too, I got catfish pepper soup for him and he did the same thing. I have a feeling he doesn't like me Jere.
you are exhibiting fear too much. Whenever you want to serve him, go straight up, don't look him in the eye, serve him and get out. Do these like three days. Then tell your Popsy to lossen the chain and see the magic happen - he will come to you on his own.

Christianity Etc › Re: Prayers (part One) by Immorttal(op): 2:38pm On Dec 29, 2016
@sarassin, you are unmasking the part 2 of this thread grin. I want the Religionists to understand that prayer doesn't depend on any religious god to effect wishes. In terms of visuals, there is a big correlation between visuals and prayer. Infact visuals is a part of human daily activities, imagine thinking about Mary visiting you today, at a slight thought of Mary, visuals kicked in immediately,Mary's facial descripting, the complexion, built and figure encompasses your mind automatically. Its certain that we can't think or remember someone or someplace without visuals kicking in and we do this without acknowleding it. Visuals is an important element of meditation and its effectiveness cannot be emphasized enough.

Yes bro, I tried that this morning and it was nearly fatal. He almost bit me. I had my dad bring him out of his house and chain him to the reservoir so I could have space to play with him and observe him. When I tried to loosen his belt and play with him, hr nearly bit me. Bros my liver cut. I'm tired of Hus behavior. I'm considering selling him off and getting another puppy.
if you want to sell him off, can we chat privately. I need an aggresive bloodline of gsds. Now i understand everything, you need to exercise patience, ignorr his aggression and try giving him foods and treats starting from today. Never exhibit fear because the dog is already seeing you as a lesser personality in the pack while your dad is the alpha. I think you'll enjoy that dog later but if you want to sell him then contact me.

Thanks a lot. Yes I am a dog newbie. I've been giving him attention since yesterday but it's like my presence infuriates him. Whenever my dad is with him, he doesn't bark rather it plays and tries to cuddle him. But anytime he sees me, he starts barking and all. I'm thinking prolly I've offended him or something.
have you tried going closer to him or touching him. tell me his reaction before i profer the "whys" and solution to it.

LoJ:
Hello Immorttal,

You know how high is the esteem I have for you and your spiritual quest. I personally believe you are in the right track to some degree of "enlightenment".
Thank you Mr Loj for the eulogy. The truth is I could easily become the last person to grace the shores of Atheism if not for my natural sceptic and logical stance. So many concerns like the issue of prayer, demons and some spiritual mysteries could have hindered and shackled me endlessly in Religious bondage because I realised that those things exist but I had to somehow liberate myself from them. And know I possess a complete knowledge of how stuffs works.

LoJ:
I will attempt to give my point of view in a straightforward manner. I also hope other (different) perspectives shall be brought forward.
My answer: None.
thanks for your verdict. I noticed you said you welcome other different perspectives, are there likelihoods that a more logical or enlightening perspective could alter your verdit?

LoJ:
There is no (personal) god who answers prayers. This does not mean prayer or some forms of it are not useful. But generally speaking*, there is no god who answers our prayers, except ourselves... literally.

It is self, or better put, the higher self/real self, that brings about the change we desire. Since life is a virtual school, a projection of sorts, we experience things according to who we are, not what they are. Our circumstances are not as objective as we think: we are (consciously or unconsciously) the artisan of our reality.

“We do not see things as they are. We see things as we are.”— Rabbi Shemuel ben Nachmani
absolutely my thought pattern!

LoJ:
It follows that an inward change automatically generates the outward change we long for, and this is where prayer can be useful. Prayer is not, or should not be, a plea to an omniscient and omnipotent god. Why would an omni- god need tears, cries and pleas before he acts?
I would leave this assertions to my Religious friends to counter.

what makes you feel the Christian God won't answer the prayers of people from other religions?? there are bible verses which talk about the mercy of the Christian God to all... both good and bad.... from your stance, you seem to take the Christian God as not the supreme God... whilst the Christians and Muslims alike take their Gods as the supreme God.

.. i find your arguments interesting... please do well to mention me in the part two
thanks
it is apparent that the Christian God detest idol worshippers, there are numerous bible verses that solidy my assertions infact the Lord turned his back on King Solomon when he started worshiping other gods. The Christian God subsequently divided his kingdom as a punishment for that offence. No way that god can answer the prayer of "idol worshippers".
Christianity Etc › Prayers (part One) by Immorttal(op): 7:19am On Dec 29, 2016
Prayer is the most conventional means of human interaction with God(s) Fundamentally, prayer is communicating with God(s). Whether you say an official prayer, or just natural conversation with God(S), several Religious followers all over the world devote a lot of time in prayer. Because every other religious denominations also pray, prayer can be rendered as an act of communication by humans with the sacred or holy—God, the gods, the transcendent realm, or supernatural powers. Found in all religions at all times, prayer may be a communal or personal act using various procedures and techniques.
There are many categories of prayer in the Christian ritual, including intercession (praying for others), petition (asking God for something), thanksgiving (giving thanks to God), and penitential prayer (expressing sorrow for your sins).
Another rare type is meditation, which has been defined as just "listening to God." Some prayer is more ceremonial and public, such as the Catholic Mass, which is vastly structured and includes participation by a good percentage of people, and other prayer is un-ceremonial and private
Prayer is a significant and universal aspect of religion, whether of primitive peoples or of modern mystics, that expresses the broad range of religious feelings and attitudes that command human relations with the sacred or holy. Prayer is said to be to religion what rational thought is to philosophy. Prayer distinguishes the phenomenon of religion from those phenomena that approach it or resemble it, such as religious and aesthetic feelings.
The ambiguous issue of prayer is one of the extenuating circumstances that held me back in my journey to Atheism because I realised it works to an extent. Hence prayers exist in a widespread variety of content, contexts, forms, and practices, a comprehensive explanation as to why prayer works irrespective of any definite Religion is prerequisite. From years of detailed research, I realised that other Religious denominations also pray and got it “delivered” according to their varied wishes.
Now my question is which God(s) answers this prayer? Is it the Christian God – Yahweh, the Muslim God – Allah, the Hindu God – Brahman?

Assuming that God is love and unbiased who answers all our prayers regardless of any Religious entanglement or denomination, which God is that? Am certain it is not the Christian God YHWH who is obviously jealous of giving reverence to other God(s) nor the Muslim God Allah who instructed its followers to kill anyone that do not worship him. Please who is this Universal God that answers this prayer or does that mean that other gods also have power to render prayers to their followers.

Toks2008:
And you think everyone does?

You neva jam some people who are hell bent on looking for pure reasons.

Tell a rich lady you want her and she will say you want her money

Tell a janded lady you want to marry her and she will say you only want a green card.

A rich guy sees a lady who desires him and he says it's because of his money and even a broke cocky guy will say a lady only wants his schlong.

So in essence some people still want to believe that a marriage proposal must be hinged on pure desire but unfortunately it is not.

At least that person wants to be with you for whatever reason so you either accept and put efforts to make it work or continue to wait for a "genuine reason"
you talk nonsense all the time.
