There is no illusion of control here and demons have nothing to do with this; it is simply magic through the powers of the mind. Once you start giving attention to any object and conceiving in your mind that they are such and such, you unconciously infuse them with power and they take on a life of their own. This is a natural phenomenon. The mind has the god element - this is what magic or witchcraft is all about.
Same goes for the name jesus, jehova, etc. These are all thoughtforms made alive and powerful through what is called the mass mind. Imagine the number of Christians(mass mind)giving praise, adoration and such every now and then to the name jesus, and begin to understand the enormous power such name possesses. But because this name is only a thoughtform and doesnt represent a real being, it's powers are limited. Have you ever wondered why church fathers promote praise and worship, arguing that this is only the gratitude Christians should show to the Christian God for his love and such? The answer is simple, without praise, worship and adoration, these thoughtforms will die a natural death and dissipate, having cut their supply of energy through the mass mind.
God is also this energy and nothing more. It is an endless sea of pure consciousness or simply put, mother nature. It is the energy that permeates everything and which brought everything into existence. It has no beginning or end. It doesn't reason, bear grudges, or judge anyone; but it is actively creating and renewing things in accordance to some natural blueprint and laws it set for itself. If anyone aligns themselves with these laws, they are blessed, and if one sets itself against these, they get destroyed.
This endless sea of pure consciousness is available for anyone to tap into and use it for good or bad. Adepts in occult know this truth and they use it to help themselves or against those that don't know about it. It is a kind of potential energy, waiting to be strutured into anything by the conscious mind.
The bible as I see it is just a book of magic for the Jews. It is about their history and bulwark of power. Jewsus, jewhova, and such are all linked to the Jews. Jews are the real world power because of the psychic energy they get from their popular religions. They know about witchcraft and these natural powers more than most people, and this explains why they have dominated world affairs - media, finance, politics, etc. They have successfully put themselves in the position of God because when Christians and other Abrahamic religions give praise and adoration to the Jewish gods, they are giving away their psychic energy and unknowingly empowering the Jews. The bible contains many instances of absurdities but the Towel of Babel story is my personal favourite

In the biblical account of it, it started abruptly as is usual with most of the Genesis stories, without any idea who was telling the story, no situation in time, and no context in which to place the events surrounding the story. If I say this is another written oral folklore now, some people will get annoyed. Anyway, moving on...

Why this story always make me laugh is two fold.

1) It says that Humans of that era decided to build a tower that will reach Heaven using Bricks and Asphalt! Apparently, people of that era thought that Heaven was just up there in the clouds and that a building made of only bricks could reach it. LOL!

2) Even more ridiculous is the fact that God saw their efforts and instead of ROTHFL(Rolling On The Heaven Floor Laughing), He(?) actually became concerned and decided to “Come down and see.”

Take a moment to digest that…

God came down to see the city.

And what did he do next? He now said “Come, let us go...(who’s Us?)”

E sah, it apyars God was talking to other gods in verse 7 o!

Anyway, They went down and confused the language of the people so that they wouldn't build a city reaching heaven. Oh well, I'm sure since then Humans have never attempted to go beyond the skies again. God wouldn't allow that....

Oh wait!

Seriously though, as a historical account of anything, this story is all shades of ridiculous. An omnipotent god wouldn't be so ‘un-omnipotent’, petty and insecure that he would have to “Come down and see….” Eeeeish!

Besides, if you try to put this story in a chronological context, you would see that in Chapter 10 of Genesis, there was already an account of people speaking different languages. This story then would not even make sense as an explanation for why humans have diverse languages.

The only way this story can make sense is if it is admitted that it was just a copied folktale that was just inserted randomly into the bible and only serves to give an account of Jewish Traditions.

This explanation fits in well because a variation of this story appears in the Jewish Tanakh and also in other ancient manuscripts of that era. Clearly, it was a folk story from the culture of that era much like the ones we have here of how the Tortoise broke his back.[/b]

The name Jesus might have some effect on demons because constant praise and adoration of an object or person seem to induce an automatic power on the person or object. Let me give you an example, get a stone. Slaughter an animal at regular intervals and sprinkle the blood on it. Offer praise and worship on that stone. Overtime, that stone will become power charged. Not that the stone possess any power of its its own but the worshipper has transferred power to it via constant worship.
