My child and I have gotten brp mails but no collection mail yet, and the tracker shows were still in DMC. Looks like an error on TLS part… can we go pick up our passports anyway? Main applicant for collection mail since Thursday.

Please @duchess90 @mimilyrics and other professionals in the house… what does it mean when main applicant’s visa application has moved to VAC but dependents own remains in DMC?

Alright thanks so much. I was just worried because he finished since 2006, that’s 17years gap and this reference letter from his current work place is only 7years duration. I was only worried that they’ll ask for previous years. Thanks so much @duchess90. 🙏

Good morning house. My husband who is the main applicant finished schooling and service in 2006/2007 respectively. The reference letter he used to gain admission was from his current work place where he’s been working for 7 years and that is the reference letter he submitted to ukvi. Will ukvi request for previous jobs evidences before 2015 he started his current job? He doesn’t have any. @duchess90 and other professionals please..

Good morning @dduchess @mimilyrics @justwise and every other pro in the house…. With the current exchange rate issue in the country and as oanda rate keeps increasing. I have two questions please:
1) will this new oanda rate affect people who have applied for visa already since last week and only waiting for their biometric date?
2) People whose pof maturity date is tomorrow, can they add about 300k to it or it’ll be termed lump sum?

Submit your documents + your marriage certificate.
It's not compulsory to change your name to your husband's after marriage and the UKVI understands that as It's normal in the UK.

What UKVI needs to know is that your marriage is genuine. You can prove this with your marriage certificate, pictures, proof of you living together since you got married (bills, GP letters, Govt letters e.t.c.), joint account & joint investments with both your names and any other docs that can prove that your marriage is real.

The only payment option on the portal is paying through convera or globalpay.

Yes I graduated from National Open University of Nigeria. I have offers in UK, Canada, I have NARIC and WES evaluation certificate as well..so your friend is good to go.

I applied for January 2023, I wasn’t replied early enough. They replied late December and asked me to defer, I did. The offer came same week. I paid tuition deposit the next week. I’m just seeing your reply. I’m usually busy during the week. Thanks. Sorry.

@dduchess90 @peterdapox @infosoftlife thanks for your responses. I’ve contacted convera, they claimed they sent the money. Sussex says it hasn’t entered their account. I mailed convera again and they now say they have mailed schools that they’re having delay issues sending funds to schools. That they’ll fix it. The issue now is till when? I don’t even know what to do at this point.

Good morning house. Please I’d love to know if anyone knows about convera here. I sent money to someone (black market rate) in the Uk to help pay my tuition deposit to university of Sussex. The person paid via convera since 9th January and convera says they sent the money to Sussex since 10th January but till today Sussex says the money hasn’t entered their account yet. I’m really bothered as I paid via black market because I do not want any part of this journey to stress me at all. It’s for September intake. Now I’m left hanging as I don’t know what’s going on and it’s been over a month. Thanks everyone as I expect replies please.
