However, in this case, you don’t get to have a store whereby you house the goods that you receive orders for. When you receive the orders, you can then make purchases from ecommerce stores like Alibaba or TradeKey or other stores (as applicable to your orders) How it works All you simply need to do is collect orders from your customers and give them a deadline that it will take for them to receive the goods based on the information from the third party. Then you may proceed to make the purchase from a third party and it is shipped to the customer directly. The third party handles everything from packaging to shipping. You do not get to pay for shipping fees as there is no need for you to even handle the goods. Advantages - Pressure from the business is low since you basically act like a middle man - You can offer a wide range of products - There is potential for high turn-over rate for hot products in the market - There is almost no risk in the business - You don’t have to worry about warehousing the products - You are free from the handling, labeling and packaging How to start The first thing you need to do is identify good sellers. You have to look out at a number of factors like the duration for delivery, reviews from those who have used the sellers etc. Once you have verified this, you will need to know what kind of products you want to list as available for purchase by your customers. They have to be products that are in demand in the market. You also have to compare the prices of the products with what is available in the local market so you can know if you can offer a better price to your customers etc. Business 2 Kindle Direct Publishing: Do you enjoy writing? Then this is definitely for you. With Kindle, you can begin to publish your books. The good news about this is that your market is not restricted, it is global! You can always track the number of sales you make on each book that you publish How it works: When you register on the site, you are immediately eligible to commence publishing. The more the number of sales you are able to make, the more your income will increase. However, Amazon will deduct 30% of your earnings if you are not a US person or if you do not reside in countries with tax treaties with the US. You will get your earnings in US dollars 60 days after every month that you have made sales. So, even if you do research for your books, learn to rewrite them using your own words to avoid troubles with them. Business 3 Affiliate Marketing: Over the last couple of weeks, I have explained the goldmine that is in affiliate marketing. What you probably don’t know is that anyone can engage in affiliate marketing, even an undergraduate and it is not time consuming. In brief, affiliate marketing is an online activity where you promote products and get paid a commission for every sale that is made through your promotion. How it works: Once you sign up to an affiliate program, you can then select the products that you want to market. It is important that you choose what the market needs (or what people will like to buy). Once a sale is made through you, you will get a percentage (commission) from it. There have been so many articles hitting the front page as to how important it is to have a business of your own. Technology has made it so simple that you can operate a business with your laptop from the comfort of your home. This means you don’t have to quit your job like may assume. The benefits are enormous; time saving, energy conserving, flexibility and yes, more earnings to your account. I have been privileged to write some of these articles. However, I have come to realize that thinking something is different from doing it. In other words, it may be easy for you to think of how nice an idea is and never do anything about it. There are several reasons (or should we refer to them as excuses?) why people never take an action concerning an idea. Some of these reasons may be genuine; others are not. What are your own reasons for not starting a business already, especially an online business? I have listed five popular reasons. What is it that is holding you back? 1. Doubt: Doubt is what makes you have second thoughts about something being real or possible? Are you inundated with thoughts of doubts that it is absolutely impossible to make money online? Are you consumed with doubts about the legality of earning generously from an input from a few hours? Remember: You may continue to wrongly convince yourself about a thing while facts stare at you. For instance, you can doubt that someone is male or female. But your doubts will never change the fact about that person’s gender. Like someone once said, “facts are stubborn things.” You may delude yourself that something is not real, but the facts will keep staring at you in the face. The best advice you can get is to investigate your doubts. Be certain that what you doubt is possible or impossible. But, do not wallow in doubts. 2. Time constraints: Have you ever complained to yourself that you need more than twenty-fours because of the things you need to get done? Time is a really scarce commodity. You may therefore think that you do not have the time to oversee a business. Remember: not all businesses require plenty time. If you have followed my threads, you will recall that I mentioned that there are online businesses that require just two hours of your time. And you decide which two hours out of the entire twenty fours to work. This is one marvellous opportunity that operating a business online will bring to you. 3. Lack of capital: Talk to an average Nigerian about business and they will complain about capital. And they indeed have a valid point. Even banks are not making it easy for start ups to obtain loans. For instance, where will a graduate get collateral worth five million naira for a loan of three million naira? Does that even sound sensible? The entire system looks messed up. Remember: not all businesses require capital. You don’t have to continually hope and wait for capital to operate a business. I still emphasize it: the online platform provides you with an opportunity to earn money by almost putting nothing into it. What it requires most of you is your effort. 4. Inadequate knowledge: Maybe all the talk about making money online looks like mumbo-jumbo to you. You cannot seem to wrap your mind around the ideas you have read before and it all looks complicated to you. Or it could be that you have understood the ideas but you have no clue where to start or how to start. Remember: knowledge is not hidden from you; you just have to search for it. It can be frustrating to know something is possible but not know how to go about it. This may lead to information overload. It is a situation where you seem to know so much but you cannot do anything useful with it. So don’t wait for it, go for knowledge. There are materials that contain all the information you need to succeed online. 5. Indecisiveness: Many people fall into this category. What is holding them back here? One word: procrastination. They have not taken the bull by the horns. Such people love the ideas that they see but convince themselves that they will do it some other time. It’s been over a year and they seem not to be ready to do it still. Remember: the more you procrastinate, the more you deprive yourself of the results you could have gotten. Procrastination is actually robbing you of the benefits that you can enjoy by acting now. It is simply post-dates your success. This does not have to be so. You may not feel like doing something. But once you realize that it has benefits in store for you, choose to ignore those feelings and do it immediately nevertheless. The best time to make that decision and act accordingly is NOW! These are the five traits holding people back. If you discover you are yet to deal with any, you may just get dealt with by it in the nearest future. Make the adjustments where you find necessary and you will find it easy to pursue your goals in life. This is specially a guys’ thread. If you believe the crap that women are the weaker sex, then you can believe that yam grows on trees. They may be weaker in terms of bodily strength, but that is all about being weak. Can we just face the truth? While a lot of guys claim to be in charge in the relationship, their woman is actually the boss but they don’t just know it. A wise man once said that: while the man is the head of the family the woman is the neck that turns the head Right from childhood, have you not observed that compared to the boy child, it is an easy thing for a female child to request something from her dad and get it? And the mother is always pissed off by it. Why? The mother knows that even her own daughter can play her very wise dad. Today, many guys are actually the women in the relationship but they are too blind to see it. I’ve put together in summary, seven ways women use men that most men do not realize. 1. Sexx: This has to top the list. I remember back then in school, a course mate was telling me how she got her Samsung tab. She said after going out a few times with the man, he took her to a plaza and got her a tab for almost 100k. She then proudly indicated when she got the tab, she decided to sleep with him. You get the drift? She rewarded the man with sexx. And this remains the most powerful weapon today. Women (even in marriages) have painted intimacy as what a man has to earn. So, you will see the average guy running pillar to post just to get into a girl’s pants. Yet, it is the same act that they will both enjoy! If you as a man do not learn to turn down the advances of a woman from time to time, you will still remain under her power. There is something about a man who refused to be manipulated into sexx. The woman will immediately see him as a conquest she must win. Guys, learn to say “no” too. You won’t die! 2. Being the one to ask her out: It is like a tradition, especially in Africa that a man should ask a woman out. Have you observed that once a man says he wants a relationship with a woman, she suddenly gains an influence over him? Well, there is little that can be done here. However, some guys have found their way around it. How? They simply ensure that she is way into them too that she starts to show not just green light, but all the colors of the rainbow. Guys who do not understand this are those still committed to chasing a woman for weeks stretching into months. Or better still, quit begging a woman for a relationship. They often have more to gain than give in the relationship anyway. 3. Showing weakness on purpose: There is an effect on a man that comes when a woman shows him her weakness. Once she shows her seeming inability to do something, what naturally comes to your mind as a guy? To help her out, isn’t it? For instance, if she was in the sun trying to get a taxi, you may feel inclined to offer her a ride. But have you ever done that for a guy? Okay, let’s rephrase the question: have you even ever shown concern to a guy in such a situation? Of course not! But what does the society call such preferential acts? Being a gentleman. This is the reason why some guys will buy a lady a phone of 70k while their brother is using torchlight. And women have discovered this! Have you seen a woman showing her weakness to her fellow woman? Hardly! But she shows it to a guy. Why? Because she knows he will start to feel like it is his responsibility to do something about it. 4. Crying over an issue: Does this need much explanation? She knows that if you truly love her, you can’t bear to see her cry. So, when logic and all forms of persuasion prove abortive, this is the last bet. And for most guys, when they see the tears, their reasoning just goes to sleep. The point is, most of these tears are not genuine. She is simply using a weapon in her armory to achieve her goal. 5. Stirring jealousy: She may not be getting attention from you or she wants you to take notice of her. To get quick attention from you, she decides to flirt with other guys in your presence. The aim is to get you jealous, put you on your toes and make you run to her. Most women believe flirting with other guys will make their men see them as valuable and desirable by others. You may get angry for a while (yes, they know), but eventually, your girl probably knows you will start working yourself hard to keep her. 6. Petting and flattery: This is one of the most rampant, even online. This is what makes a guy to pounce on his fellow guy online simply because a female referred to him as “baby”. Seriously, guys need to grow past this! The craze to hear sweet things from a woman has made many go to surprising lengths. Beware when she suddenly is all nice to you. Beware when she flatters you. You have no idea what is about to hit you. If you do, you probably won’t be smiling sheepishly. 7. Playing the guilt card: This is reverse psychology. What happens here is that she will blame you for something to get you to try defending yourself and then getting you to do what she blamed you about. Let’s say she accused you of not loving her as a reason why you did not get her an ipad. What is the motive? To get you to explain that you love her and promise to get her an ipad in the end. You know the implication? She just stripped you of the right to complain that you will not buy her the phone. Or else, you risk proving that you don’t love her. My best advice to guys in this situation: do nothing, say nothing. Just let the accusation hang and be quiet. if must say something, tell her that she do not value the relationship that is why she weigh the level of love using material things. Remember, this strategy is always a trap. Women can easily spot when a fellow woman like them is using a guy’s head. Guys need to learn all these manipulations and know to come off it. We men have always said that women are the most complex creatures God has ever created. And some of us still hold this view. But when we hear women say that they do not understand us, we get shocked! Really?! We are the simplest creatures on the earth (you may choose not to agree though). Where you women have pages of things you expect of us, our list is quite simple. I mean very simple. Once you can understand what we want, you’ve struck gold. And yes, don’t assume to know what we want. Know it instead. When you do, you will be able to meet our needs. When you do, you will have made yourself too valuable to lose. So, here are eight things we really want in a relationship. 1. Be Independent: If you ask an average Naija guy, he would put it very bluntly thus: “stop demanding for money!” A young man cannot be trying to build his future and you keep demanding money from him incessantly. Nobody wants a leech. Be independent for yourself. Work with your own hands. Make your own money. Take care of yourself. Once you do, our attraction to you skyrockets. And when you become independent, you won’t need to beg us for money. Ask any guy around, he will give anything to a woman that does not ask him. Yes, the less you ask, the more valuable you tend to become, and the more you will eventually receive from us. 2. Invest in the relationship: When we want a relationship, we are not seeking to add another load to our burden, please. A woman who makes a man keep working in a relationship will soon lose him. The era of killing ourselves over a relationship is fast winding up. Buy us gifts from your own money. Call us with your own airtime. Pamper us when you see the need to. You are not the only one that wants to feel loved in a relationship; men do too! We want to see that we are really in a relationship with someone and not with ourselves. 3. Be homely: Men love beautiful women. But what is the advantage of a woman that is not homely? Or a woman that will fry plantains and serve us something that looks like coal? You visit your man’s house and notice it is ruffled; you complain about it but have never made an attempt to tidy it up. Don’t assume that you can let your physical looks go just because we are in a relationship. We want women that we can show off. Dress good. Watch your weight. Exercise if you need too. Some of us do not really fancy heavy makeup. Well, you have to know which your man is. But at all cost, please, keep looking good. 8. Support us: You have no idea how many times a guy needs encouragement. Because you see us smiling always, you now assume all is rosy? We encounter a lot of challenges. We face plenty disappointments. The responsibility to be a man can be crushing. It is real! Support us. If we are down, become our cheerleader. If things turn around negatively, stay with us. Motivate us. Let us know that you believe in us even when we do not believe in ourselves. Tell us you approve of us unconditionally. No need to nag or be contentious. Instead, be our peace! Don’t be indifferent when you notice we are down. That will be a very bad idea. So, there we have it! Is there anything complex about this list? Of course not! All Important Questions Will Be Placed Here question olaolaking: Answer bro frankly it was not easy. during those early days i was a strong believer of google has everything this was mainly because i didnt want to invest in any guide or ebooks. so i used the trial and error method and spent a year in affiliate marketing with only 3 sales. the commission per sale was 20 dollar so in other words it was a $60 year in affiliate marketing. the story all changed when i paid a successful affiliate marketer to teach me over skype the strategies he is using and since then, i have recorded many $200 day in affiliate marketing. after learning the new strategies the sales started coming in within 1 week or two. olaolaking: budget really depends on the person that is starting. a person that has time at his disposal can get started even with zero naira. his traffic source will be free traffic. most free traffic sources requires 2-4 hours daily to make you reasonable pay. for a person that already has budget, he will need like 100usd to invest in traffic. affiliate marketing all comes down to traffic. i focus only on the 3 evergreen niches. health, wealth and romance. health includes niches such as: loosing weight, acne treatment, sexual performance, erectile dysfunction, dieting etc. wealth: this include all mmo. make money online romance: getting ex back, making you boyfriend love you, winning friends, wooing girls etc. for auto-responder, use mailchimp forever free version till you are firm. it allows you to have up to 2000 subscribers and to send 12000 emails monthly. |

Even in Nigeria, the internet has produced several millionaires in the last one year, thanks to the dwindling Naira. If you have been having issues with making money online, don’t doubt the fact. Instead, doubt your methods. I want to share five secrets of making money online. Those who are already doing this know it is no secrets. But if you have been having tough time, this could certainly be of help to you. So, let’s start. 1. Stick to one thing: This is the foremost advice. Don’t chase after every idea that comes your way. All you need is one idea that you can commit your time and energy to. Check out those who have not made a dime online. They hardly stay with one idea. Today, they are in blogging. Next week, they are in freelancing. Next month, they will probably jump to affiliate marketing. And the cycle never ceases to end. Stick to one thing. Treat the ideas like your spouse. You may see plenty lucrative alternatives, but ultimately choose to settle with one. 2. Give it time: This is where a lot of people lose it. They want to make huge money in a hurry. You need to understand that there is a difference between looking for easy money and building a business. Building a business may take time but it pays off on the long run. It will definitely not succeed. If I tell you for instance that farming ginger is profitable and you decide to jump in to it, you do so at your own detriment. Why? Because you don’t know how the farming is done, the normal problems you will face and how to overcome them, how to meet up with those who need it and the likes. All you will end up doing is wasting your time and resources. You get the picture? An online business is built on the foundation of not just an idea, but on well researched information.
