With the aticles of ali sina the founder of freedom faith. Millions of people are leaving islam around the world after finding d truth what islam ment to them. here are some greeting letters to ali sina Hello Ali, I finally joined your website as a registered member. I just wanted to let you know how my journey began and how your website was largely responsible for my leaving Islam and now completely detesting the so called religion of peace. I live in Fiji. We have a largely secular government with the predominant religion being Christianity, followed by Hinduism and then Islam. Fiji Muslims are basically Indians whose forefathers were converted to Islam. They came to Fiji with Hindus as labourers for the sugar cane plantations. They number only about 36000 or so but are very influential in that we have Muslim schools mosques, etc. all over the place. The good thing is on the grandeur scheme of things the Muslims in Fiji are largely Minion’s in that they follow the faith blindly without much thought or analysis. This does two things it keeps them away from fundamentalism and also quite ignorant to the many ills in the faith. I was born into one such home. Middle class so called good Muslims. I was taught the Arabic version of the Quran by the time I was 4 years old. I finished the learning of the Quran by 10 or so and slowly through training etc. became the area Imam by the time I was about 15 or 16years old meaning I was leading about 50 men in prayer. The one good thing in Fiji is that Western Education is compulsory and thus I attended and finished high school. During the later years of my schooling as I learnt more about science the questions started coming and it did not take me long to drift away from the religion. Added with the peer pressure of a largely western life style practised by my friends I sort of became a non- practising Muslim which caused much conflict with my parents. Anyway over the years i did all the usual things got married to a non-Muslim converted her had a child started a business etc. etc. When I turned 35 I kinda had faith crises. The guilt and fear of not conforming to my faith plus the sudden realization that I was not immortal pushed me towards Islam again. I have seen this happening to many Muslims who as they get older seem to reawaken the virus as you put it so well. In the ensuing 2 or 3 years i became somewhat devout. It was in the year 2010 when after saying my ZOHAR prayer in my office during Ramadan that something in my head said “am I doing the right thing”. All those questions that I had as a young rebel started flooding back. My research started on the web and within a few hours of reading and searching I came across your website. Needless to say I did not sleep that night as all that I knew or thought to be true was shattered. It’s almost like having a trusted loving partner cheat on you only this is deeper and more painful as one models his or her life around this belief that we have the key to the truth and therefor heaven. For quite a few nights after that I read and researched and it became clear that I was part of a cult and my beliefs were shattered. My journey to enlightenment had begun. Within a year or so I went from being a born again Muslim to someone who detests Islam with every fiber of my being. I hated the fact that I tried to impose this cult onto my wife and daughter and even to my wife’s niece. To this day I abhor the process of brainwashing that a Muslim (all religions do the same) child goes through. I hated the fact the fact that I wasted so many years of my life not really living like a human being free of all men made bull crap despite that fact that I lived a rebellious life in my twenties there were certain things you still did not do like eating non halal foods etc. By this time thanks to you and the website and my own verifications I had well and truly left Islam. It was the hardest thing I ever did and I am very proud of myself for doing so. I know many readers will agree with this and that is that Islam is like the HIV virus it takes over your whole life and it takes a great deal of courage to part from it. In the last few years I studied Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism. I found Christianity to be simply a milder version of Islam and quite frankly the Quran is just the Old Testament on steroids. There is some truth to the philosophy and fundamental belief systems of the Eastern faiths like cause and effect Karma etc. but overall the rituals are illogical. I have since started looking for scientific evidence on survival after bodily death and this is when things got really interesting. I have read and researched near death experiences (NDErs), evidence of Reincarnation, Death bed visions, mediumship, sightings of Ghosts and spirits etcm etc. After exhaustive research I have concluded that we do survive death and we do have a soul. I am also certain that there is a creator and an energy source that we all seem to be part of but it does not have anything to do with any of the organized stupidity which we call religion. I believe I am now a much better human being. My journey has been hard but the resulting knowledge and subsequent mental freedom that I have granted myself and to my family has been worth it. I also agree entirely with you that the west or the civilized world has to stop Islam now and call a spade a spade. We are running around in circles by being politically correct. Islam is and always has been the greatest threat to humanity. We must stop it now or regret the consequences forever. I am so ashamed to be called a Muslim that I am changing my name so that I no longer identify with this cult. I want to thank you very, very much to have taken the time and for having the courage to put up this website. For some of us it really has been a life changer. Warm Regards Hi Ali, Thanks for your previous reply to my email. Honestly, I left Islam thanks to your website a couple of years ago and thanks to my little understanding of English so I was able to grasp all your writings. But, I left Islam completely after I bought your book. No more 5 times prayers and fasting after that and no more love to Muhammad. The only person who knows I am no longer muslim is my very long time best friend. He is very educated and has long list of overseas education. He is a very nice person and always kind to me. We care each other. We share every knowledge we have. I have shared your site to him. At first he was impressed with your understanding of Islam and started to view Muhammad lower than he did before. Now, he changed his mind about Islam since he learned from Hamza Yusuf ( an American convert to Islam) that he converted to Islam thanks to his Near Death Experience. Can you explain it to us , If Islam is lie, why Hamza Yusuf’s NDE is effective to take him to Islam as well as those who meet Jesus in NDE? This is going to be my discussion with my best friend. Thanks for your answer. Millions of people have reported NDE. I have been reading their stories in www.nderf.org since last year and so far I read 500 of them. I also watched more than 200 stories of NDE on Youtube. People who die report a variety of experiences. Some see God and heaven and others are sent to hell. Some just hover over their bodies and don’t leave this plane of existence and then reenter their bodies. The experiences can be diverse depending of their intensity. Although these people see a glimpse of the other life their understanding does not improve. Each interprets their experience based on their limited understanding. One person who had a near death experience and did not leave this world, saw his body and then move away travelling through the town and flying over the trees. He felt very good but then he became scared that if he did not return he may die. So he returned to his body. He asserted that heaven and hell don’t exist because in his NDE he saw neither of them. Is he right? This is like a person taking a boat and going to UK, landing on a shore and looking around seeing no houses and no people. He then returns, ......... for more visit www.faithfreedom.org/category/leaving-islam/ |

There is a lot of debate between Muslims and non-Muslims about wife-beating. Something I’ve noticed a lot is that people are often talking passed each other on the issues, making it difficult to figure out what the truth is. So I wanted to bring some clarity. One issue that non-Muslims, and especially ex- Muslims, bring up is the verse in the Quran 4:34. Now, there are a few different interpretations of this verse, and what you’ll find is that some of them are worse than others. But also, you’ll notice that the Muslims that are siding with the least bad ones, are actually claiming that they are good , in other words not evil . So what I’m going to do is present two translations, one from each end of the spectrum of badness. On one end of the spectrum we have the translation by Sahih International [1]: “Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband’s] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance – [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.” Notice the part that says “Men are in charge of women…” and “…righteous women are devoutly obedient [to their husbands]…” This means that husbands have authority over their wives. In other words, wives are supposed to be obey their husbands’ commands. Notice also that it tells husbands how to deal with their wives when they disobey – if she continues to disobey, the husband is allowed to strike his wife, and that he is supposed to stop as soon as obedience is restored (“But if obey you [once more], seek no means against them.”). On the other end of the spectrum we have the translation by Mir Ahmed Ali [2]: “Men have authority over women on account of the qualities with which God hath caused one of them to excel the other and for what they spend of their property. And as to those whose perverseness ye fear, admonish them and avoid them in beds and beat them (lightly) and if they comply then seek not a way against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.” Let’s talk about how the translations are consistent, and how they contradict. As for the consistencies, they both say: (1) that men have authority over their wives, in other words, wives are supposed to obey their husbands commands, and (2) that one of the ways that a husband is allowed to deal with his wife in the case of disobeying him is to beat her, and that he should stop beating her as soon as obedience is restored. Now before I get into the inconsistencies, I’d like to talk about how some Muslims understand this verse. They say that the part about the husband having authority over his wife is actually about the man being responsible for the wife’s care, and in return for that responsibility, the wife should respect her husband. But this is the same meaning. It means the wife should do as her husband asks. It’s the same as how lots of parents treat their children. They tell their children to respect them, and when children don’t do what their parents tell them to do, the parents say ‘you don’t respect me.’ So it’s the same concept. They want obedience, and they expect it because the husband is responsible for the wife’s care. Never mind the fact that more and more families have both spouses working, while the wife still does all of the traditional work of the wife, which means that in these families, the wife is actually taking on more responsibility than the husband. So in these families, if authority should be given to the one that is most responsible for family matters, then should the husband respect and obey the wife? No! They should be a team. They should work together. They should discuss their disagreements rationally as a means of coming to agreement. No authority. No submission. And about respect, it should be mutual, not one way! Now for the inconsistencies. The second translation involves a qualifier on how to do the beating. It says to beat ‘lightly,’ while the first translation doesn’t have this ‘lightly’ qualifier. First I’d like to say that reading the Arabic, there is no ‘lightly’ qualifier. Second, it’s in the Hadith, not the Quran, where Mohamed said that the beating should be ‘light’[3]. Third, and this is the really interesting part, for the Muslims who think that ‘beat lightly’ is the correct interpretation, I’ve noticed that they think that this solves the problem — that if ‘beat lightly’ is the correct interpretation, then everything is fine, nothing is wrong. This is so utterly ridiculous. It’s ignoring reality. It’s basically saying, “you guys who claim that the ‘lightly’ interpretation is wrong, are wrong. And since you are wrong about that, you are wrong about everything else about that verse too. The Quran is perfect.” Um, but what about the part about authority/obedience and the part that allows initiating violence (lightly or not) as a means of resolving disputes? Let’s be very clear about this. The Quran is advocating the following: There will be no violence between you and your husband as long as you obey him, and if you disobey him, your husband has the right to initiate violence on you in order to restore your obedience, and as soon as you obey again, he is commanded to immediately stop the violence on you. To clarify the issue, let’s look at this from another perspective. Do you think it’s right to say: There will be peace as long as you obey my commands, and if you disobey, I have the right to initiate war on you in order to restore obedience, and as soon as obedience is restored, I will make peace again. This is pure evil. This is saying that the one in the authority position is the master of the slave – the slave being the one in the submissive position. The slave is supposed to obey his master, or suffer beatings at the hands of the master. How can this be defended? Saying that the beating should be ‘light’ is not a defense. Initiating violence on a person in response to a dispute is evil. Doing it lightly, is still evil! A second inconsistency between the two translations is where the first translation says, and if you fear your wife’s “arrogance,” and the second translation says, and if you fear your wife’s “perverseness.” I think that these are pretty much saying the same thing, but some Muslims have interpreted the “perverseness” part to mean adultery. Now I’d rather not argue why that’s wrong because it doesn’t matter to my point, meaning that my point stands whether that part is wrong or not. So the second translation, and I mean the less aggressive interpretation, is saying that husbands have authority over their wives, in other words, women are supposed to obey them, and that in cases where the wife commits adultery, then her husband has the right to beat her to make her obey again (to stop committing adultery). Notice how this less aggressive interpretation doesn’t say what men are allowed to do in cases where their wives disobey in general. So this doesn’t make any sense. But again, even if this interpretation is correct, it’s still evil to initiate violence on someone for adultery. The right thing to do in a case like this is to “agree to disagree.” That means that the people in the dispute still disagree about the main issue, but they at least agree to not resort to violence, and so they leave each other alone. In other words, in cases of the woman committing adultery, the husband should divorce her, not beat her. So why didn’t the Quran outlaw initiating violence in cases of adultery and instruct husbands to seek divorce instead? Another problem with this verse, and I mean even the least aggressive interpretation, is that it doesn’t say that wives have the right to beat their husbands if the husband commits adultery. Why the inequality? Well, it’s because the Quran sees the husband as the master, and the wife as the slave. In this framework, why would the slave have the right to beat the master? That would uproot the whole dynamic of the |
How the Quran lied about Mary and Jesus Christ’s birth? By Mohammad Asghar 2005/04/18 Syeda Muneeba Masood, a devout Muslim woman, wrote in Banglarnari: Ibn Jarir and others narrated that one day Maryam ran out of water. She asked her cousin, Yusuf, the son of Yaqub to go with her to get some. He declined, saying he had his sufficiency for that day, so Maryam went to fetch water alone. There, she found Jibril, whom Allah had sent to her in the shape of a man. Response: This is what the Quran tells us about Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. My tafsir of the Quranic verses and the inferences I have drawn from them are more realistic than what Ibn Jarir and others have narrated about her and her conception with a son whose father was not a human being but Allah Himself: 19: Sura Maryam, or Mary It seems to us that Allah always derived great pleasure from violent deaths of His beloved people. Not only in the case of John but also in the case of Jesus Christ, He looked the other way when the Jews of Jerusalem put His beloved son to excruciating pains before putting him to death through crucifixion, a method of execution the very thought of which makes many of us tremble today with extreme fear. But the people of the past were not like the people of today: like Allah, they, too, took great pleasure from great pains they inflicted on their victims. And yet, we, the common folks, believe that the same Allah can save us from the tyranny of our rulers, without giving any thought to His past failures! This blind belief in many of us developed from reading what are stated in some of the most disgusting Books we call Religious Scriptures; they being made sweet and effective by the preaching of the priests of all hue and characters. With their forceful voice, the priests can lift many listeners off their feet. With their well articulated but often circuitous arguments, they can turn a rat into a lion. With the power of their penetrating eyes, they can mesmerize even those who refuse to be influenced by anything they do not believe without verifying its efficacy or truthfulness. Fooling people in the name of religions has become a high-paying job for many people. It is their priesthood that helps them thrive in this world. It is their ability to fool others that has turned many of them into multi-millionaires; their economically hard-pressed victims being unable to draw any tangible benefit from any of the things they tell them in their sermons. Yet, they flock to their congregations to be fooled again and again. How long humans would continue to be fooled, we do not know. But we are sure of one thing and it is this: the sharks in the garbs of priests would continue to feast on their unsuspecting victims for so long as they would not be able to realize their tactics and the banality of their religious sermons. The story of Zakariya and John over (as stated in the beginning of Sura Maryam), Allah asked Muhammad to relate or narrate in the Quran the story of Mary: how she left her people and took herself to a solitary place to the east. Following His instruction, this is what Muhammad narrated, in his own words, in the Quran: Verse 17: She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects. Verse 18: She said: I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah: Verse 19: He said: Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son. Verse 20: She said: How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste? Verse 21: He said: So (it will be): they Lord saith, ‘That is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and Mercy from Us’: it is a matter (so) decreed. Muhammad’s ability to narrate Mary’s story was not better than Allah’s ability. In fact, both of them seem to be handicapped by their inability to narrate clearly the stories of the past, most of which were, though, essential for laying the foundation of Islam. Moreover, he contradicted himself in many places of the Quran. His statement in verse 17 is one of them. In this verse, he said that just one angel i.e. Gabriel had appeared before Mary as a man in all respects. He made quite a different statement in verse 3:42 and 45. According to these verses, the number of angels who assembled in Mary’s chamber was not only more than one; they even fought over the question of who among them was going to take care of her. This contradiction makes it abundantly clear that the Quran is a brainchild of Muhammad and that to attribute its contents to Allah is simply a fallacious invention on the part of the Muslims. Despite the fact that some of the verses, quoted above, belong to the category of unclear verses, yet, we will make our best efforts to find out what exactly they mean and what lessons we humans are supposed to take from them. Improving upon the part of Mary’s story that was narrated by Allah in Sura al-Imran, Muhammad tells us through verse 16, above, that there was a time in her life when she withdrew from her family and went to a place in the East where she hid herself behind a screen, without giving a reason for her doing such an irrational thing. Some Muslim scholars, Maulana Abul Modudi, being one of them, explained Mary’s action thus: Dedicated by her mother to the worship of Allah, Mary took up residence in a chamber of Baitul Muqqadus {it being the other name of the Farthest Mosque, or Masjidul Aqsa, mentioned in 17:1} under the supervision of prophet Zakariya. Her chamber was located in the eastside of it. Following a requirement of isolationism {known as ehtehkaf in Arabic} practiced by the isolationists, she hung a curtain to hide herself from the eyes of the onlookers. [1] The structure the learned scholar he has referred to as Baitul Muqqadus did not exist at the time Mary is believed to have lived. It was built in 690 A.D., or thereabouts by the Muslim Caliph Abd-ul-Malik at the grounds where once stood the Temple of Solomon . Titus destroyed it in 70 A.D., whereafter it was never rebuilt. Hence, his attempt at clarifying Muhammad’s statement is not only misplaced, it is also a blatant lie. [2] Whatever the location of the place, the verse does not give us a clear-cut reason that required a young Mary to withdraw herself from her family, and to move to the east, unless the prophet under whose care she was given by her mother had made her pregnant.
