Well OP, there is nothing wrong in converting to islam. One of my best friend just converted from islam to Hindu, so i see nothing wrong in it

Just make sure u wont regret ur desission u are making. If am to drop one or two advise for u. this is what i have to give u

1. Visit any nearest imam for guidelines

2. Obey allah's commandment. but obey the good ones ooo. if u are an adult with a conscience, ( sorry i forgot Muslims don't have conscience that why they kill anyhow) u must know the different between good and bad. just pick the good ones and obey and don't kill ur conscience.

3. pls know the type of jihad or sharia u are practicing, don't go and practice the violent ones. (that is if ur conscience is still intact and they have not removed it from u). No be say if they give u gun make u go kill infidels. u go just go carry because u wan enter heaven. it not good.

And lastly, in case u denounce islam and wanna convert to another religion. pls do it in another area far from ur resident area to avoid their apostasy law. That how i lost one of my best friend, as soon as he convert to Hindu. they started clamouring for his head. He has to leave Zaria to south east where nobody knows him.
